  1. Apparently he hasn't set much of anything. Do you have any other working dockers?
  2. If you look just 3 posts before yours, you will see the answer to this which was asked only a few days ago. That answer was copied from the very first post of this thread. Everyone should read the first post of the support thread if they are going to use any plugin.
  3. That would be similar to yanking the power as far as the flash drive is concerned. Are you saying you have never shutdown or otherwise powered off your server?
  4. Could be bad flash drive, maybe a port problem, probably just corrupted. Put it in your PC and let it checkdisk. Are you shutting your server down from the webUI? If not then that is probably the cause.
  5. At the command line you are root and have all privileges. Google "Midnight Commander", a built-in file manager that is easy to learn and use.
  6. You should go ahead and do so. Actually, deleting that container was the least risky part since it is easily downloaded again.
  7. Tools - Diagnostics, post complete zip.

    unRaid and Kodi

Spinup delays are why user share split level settings were invented, so you might take a look at that. It mostly helps when watching tv episodes or listening to an album (remember those) or with any other sorts of files that you expect to access together.
  9. What does this mean? The array normally refers to the parity-protected disks. I guess the cache pool could be considered a non-protected array if it was raid0.
  10. I see his sig just fine. Can you see any sigs? You have to turn them on in your forum account settings.
  11. WOW! Cool AND Scary! What more could you want! And it works as a file viewer of course. No more launching puTTY just to look at something. Midnight Commander F3 and F4 are now obsolete!
  12. Think of a container as a minimal VM with only the bare minimum installed to allow a single application to run. So a docker container doesn't even include a docker engine, which is what would be required to run another container. Why would you want to anyway? The host can run both dockers. I am not sure what you think this option is.
  13. Turn on Help for an explanation of Notice, Warning, Alert. I get emails for all three plus daily Array Status.
  14. Since they are isolated from each other, they have no access to each others paths. (Seems similar to another discussion I was having with someone on another thread recently, doesn't it?) Usually this is dealt with by mapping a container path in one docker to a host path, and mapping a container path in the other docker to that same host path. Makes sense now that you understand mapping.
  15. Your replacement cache is worse than the other one (and it was very bad). 5 Reallocated_Sector_Ct 0x0033 041 041 140 Pre-fail Always FAILING_NOW 1265 Do you test your disks before using them? Do you have Notifications setup? Even if you don't, the Dashboard should be showing you that you have a problem.
  16. Sometimes it seems more like you find unusual ways of describing possible things so that they seem impossible.
  17. CHBMB is a member of linuxserver.io, and he didn't say "we have our own version", he said "they have their own version". Not sure exactly who he meant by "they", but you can use Community Applications to help install dockers on docker hub that aren't specifically supported by unRAID forum members. Just go to Settings - Community Applications - General Settings and Enable Docker Hub Searching.
  18. If you mean the Settings page for the User Share, that is not a plugin. If you do mean a plugin, then which plugin?
  19. This is exactly how I would number them also and since this is how unRAID numbers them everyone should number them this way to avoid confusion. Sorry, I was just confused by the mention of disk7, which as you say, doesn't exist. I see this in your syslog Apr 6 03:09:03 Tower root: Fix Common Problems: Warning: Share S is set for both included (disk2,disk3,disk4,disk5,disk6) and excluded (disk7,disk8) disks but as you say, that share doesn't have any excludes currently in your diagnostics. shareInclude="disk2,disk3,disk4,disk5,disk6" shareExclude="" Did you change that share's settings after the timestamp for that warning in your syslog? If you go to Fix Common Problems and have it scan again, does it still give that warning?
  20. Maybe you have those empty slots excluded in Global Share Settings? Post diagnostics.
  21. I'm confused by this description. It makes some sense to talk about a slot number, but if it is empty, it does not have a disk number in the array, and excludes and includes only apply to disks in the array. Maybe if you could quote or give a link to the "recommendation" it might give some context.
  22. Squid already answered your problem, but since you seemed unaware that you had a bad cache disk, I have to ask: Do you have Notifications setup? For your sig, in the forum, if you click on the dropdown next to your name in the upper right corner and select Account Settings and then select Signature on the left, you will get to a page that will let edit your sig, and also you can turn on viewing signatures.
