  1. Don't know anything about this docker, but when you say do you mean the docker log? If you put the $ in the environment variables of the docker template then that is likely your problem. Try it without the $
  2. Does that plugin work with cache pools?
  3. Will not install which script? My preclear plugin works, but I don't see the fast option. I installed the fast option by copying preclear_bjp.sh and the correct readvz to the root of my flash drive (according to the readme.txt). Need I do more? Thanks, Richard Did you read the thread you linked like I suggested? Never mind, I just reread it for you. Here Since you may have additional issues or questions about this please read the thread.
  4. Did you install the faster script?
  5. The thread you linked has all your answers, and as threads go around here it is not really that long. If you install the fast preclear script the plugin GUI will give you a check box for fast. *edit* The plugin will not install the script for you. You have to put it in the plugin folder yourself.
  6. If true, you suggest that it get up to 186Mb in seconds after a reboot? because at each boot, I checked my LOG partition and it was at 100% already so probably not cleared ?? Nothing to clear, since /var/log is in RAM. Must be something with your configuration filling it up. Maybe boot in SAFE mode and see if it still happens.
  7. Not if the drive is >2.2TB Yes No
  8. I think you will have to disable the docker service itself, not each individual docker.
  9. I think it lets you expand the "tree" at that point. Have you tried clicking on it?
  10. The Plugins page says "built-in" in the last column for "native" plugins. There are only 2. Added plugins have a checkbox that enables a remove button.
  11. Sadly no.... when I select the Workgroup button, in the dropdown, I only get Tower which is the unRAID server... I have other *nix machines that use Openelec, and Windows 7 on that workgroup. My Win 7 machines has no issue seeing them all. Thanks. Is your unRAID server the local master? Not just set to be the local master, but actually the local master? There is a dynamix plugin to show you.
  12. When I select SMB, I get a button "Search for server in" workgroup name. Pressing this button gives me choices in the IP/Host dropdown. Selecting a host and pressing "Load Shares" button gives me choices in the Share dropdown. Does it not work that way for you?
  13. Parity check is not something that would be improved by changing filesystems, since parity operations deal only with the bits and not the files.
  14. Unless it appears as a SATA or IDE device I don't think unRAID will use it for cache. You might see if Unassigned Devices will allow it to be mounted outside the array.
  15. Do you think this is caused by one of the Dynamix plugins in the first post of this thread?
  16. I'll try this in a couple of days when I do my monthly offsite backup. Worked OK last month. Just finished my montly backup with this, and it worked. It is a little different than I remember from last time though. There is no checkbox for running the script in the background, I assume because it always runs in the background now. Also, when I push the Mount button, it does mount and run the script, but the Mount button just sits there "spinning" until the script completes. Not sure that is expected behavior or not, or whether I would even consider it a bug, but it might be a little disconcerting if you aren't aware of what's happening. Once the script completes, the button does show the drive is mounted. My script doesn't take any action on the unmount, so that happens quickly. Don't know if it would also "spin" if the script did anything or not.
  17. +1 All the other plugins on the forum are just WIP too.
  18. Good plan on the new drive. Then you can try to clear the pending sectors on the other drive by preclearing it.
  19. Screen also requires utempter, so find that one too. Put them in the extra folder on your flash drive and unRAID will automatically installpkg them when it boots. Or see here
  20. Multiple cache drives are only supported as btrfs raid, so they cannot be used separately for different purposes.
  21. I'll try this in a couple of days when I do my monthly offsite backup. Worked OK last month.
  22. Was the disk disabled, showing a red X next to it? If so, then what you did was copy the data from the emulated drive. unRAID will not let you format a disabled disk.
  23. docker exec -it docker-name bash will give you a bash command line inside a docker.
  24. I'll get 3tb of data onto a drive and add it to the array and let you know. That will tell us more. (converting from rfs to xfs and the formatting was a pain prior to today) I'm converting the last 2 drives from RFS to XFS. Precleared 2 disks and using the newly available format command in unassigned devices, I made them XFS. I now had 2 3tb drives formatted XFS with Unassigned Devices and I rsynced data onto them filling them up without issue. Now I just needed to get them into the array and pull the RFS disks out. I then swapped them with the 2 RFS drives that were in the array and restarted the array with these 2 new drives. Now unRaid complains about these 2 being unmountable disks. Unassigned devices works with them fine, but they aren't quite kosher for unRaid array devices. Some minor format difference?? Did you do New Config? That is the only way you are going to get unRAID to accept these new disks as part of the array.
