I think there are way better solutions out there then Citrix... 😅 You can also install Docker on your Mac and there are some Docker containers out there that create actually a X window and you have a local containerized installed application, I once made such containers but I decided to use the apps on unRAID instead.

Ist das eine reine XML vom Anbieter xyz bereitgestellt oder speist du das direkt bei dir ins Netzwerk ein. Sieh dir mal diesen Post hier an, hier gehts zwar um Emby und TVHeadend aber sollte in deinem Fall nicht viel anders funktionieren da Emby und Jellyfin noch immer ziemlich ähnlich sind. Ich muss dir aber ganz ehrlich sagen das ich dir empfhelen würde die XML in TVHeadend einzubinden und dann von TVHeadend in Jellyfin einzubinden, ich weiß nämlich nicht wie die XML zur Verfügung gestellt wird... Bedenke auch das Jellyfin unter anderm (noch) nicht wirklich gut mit LiveTV umgeht und evtl einen Stream offen lässt auch wenn du ihn eigentlich schon beendet hast oder er mit erheblicher Verzögerung beendet wird, kommt zumindest vor. Hast du hier evtl. eine andere Idee @alturismo?

Try another VNC client, eventually your client doesn't support it. With the TurboVNC client on Widnows it works flawlessly. Eventually look if there is a scaling option in your VNC client. Also here is the link to the Downloads from TurboVNC there should be a download for OSX too. Even if you close the web window it should stay open and not exit the app itslef. I really don't know if there is another option on OSX as I'm only using Windows and Linux.

Seems like you have a issue with the Nvidia Driver plugin. Please make sure it's installed and working. Try to uninstall it and reinstall it. If you have it installed for the first time or have reinstalled it on a running unRAID instance always remember that you have to reboot or restart the Docker service. Which update exactly? The last update from the stable container was about 11 days ago.

You can actually do that but you have to create another port in the template, the port 8080 is only for noVNC. In the template simply click on Add another port, variable,... -> select "Port" from the dropdown -> as container you have to port specify 5900 -> as host port you can enter whatever you like but I would recommend to choose something different than 5900 because the VMs also use 5900, 5901,... Then you should be able to connect via a VNC client with: YOURUNRAIDIP:YOURPORT

Super dann schreib ein Tutorial dazu. Sowas zu integrieren wie ich schon oben geschrieben hab würde den Footprint von unRAID unnötig vergrößern und obligt immer dem Benutzer, du kannst hier gerne custom XML's einstellen die sich dann andere Benutzer runterladen können von dem Tutorial. Bedenke, nicht jeder braucht eine Windows VM, ich für meinen Teil hab zB keine einzige Windows VM, nur eine Headless Debian VM zum Container bauen und eine 2. Unraid VM zum bauen der Plugins und anderer sachen. Ich find schon richtig nur die grundlegenden Sachen zu integrieren die mit QEMU geliefert werden, außerdem könnte es Lizenztechnische Haken haben das direkt zu integrieren und mehr oder weniger mit unRAID zu "vertreiben". Ich für meinen Teil hab einen sündhaft teuren 1GB SLC USB Stick und wenn das image noch weiter anwächst muss ich mir eine Alternative suchen was ich unbedingt vermeiden will. Wie auch schon oben geschrieben, solche Anregungen gehören ins Feature Request Unterforum (auch wenn du es von Google translate übersetzen lässt ist dir keiner böse). ...und wie auch schon erwähnt über solche Tutorials inklusive Screenshots und wirklicher Schritt für Schritt Anleitungen ist dir auch keiner böse, zB hat @sonic6 gestern eine tolle Anleitung/Tutorial gepostet wie man einen RaspberryPi mittels unRAID sichert übers Netzwerk.

Bitte lad dir das Update aus der CA App für die Deutsche Sprache dann sollte alles jetzt in Deutsch sein. Schalt einfach den Autostart des Arrays ein. Denk nur mal dran du hast unabsichtlich eine Platte entfernt aus dem Array weil du weiß ich nicht was gemacht hast und du hast das vergessen und startest dann das Array von der Docker page angenommen, dann kannst du einen Parity rebuild machen. Convenience over Function ist nicht immer besser... Du musst dazu aber die VM trotzdem stoppen und starten um das zu machen, du kannst dir auch 2 configs anlegen für die gleiche VM eine mit mehr Kernen und eine mit weniger, nur als Lösungsansatz. Das ist auch möglich soweit ich weiß nur brauchst du dafür ein Plugin und die Plugins bzw. Docker müssen das auch unterstützen, welche Anwendungszwecke oder Plugins apps schweben dir vor? Meiner Meinung finde ich das auch mit dem Plugin in Ordnung da es sonst zu Unübersichtlich wird werden kann. Anleitung Plugins ≠ Docker, Plugins sollten installiert bleiben und sollen das System erweitern und sind eigentlich nicht zum an/auschalten gedacht, welches Plugin schwebt dir vor? Wie du schon richtig schreibst, Pinned Apps Bei den Plugins? Warum? Bzw bräuchte einen konkreten Anwendungsfall. Die zu updatenden Plugins werden dir immer oben angezeigt wenn ein update verfügbar ist und rutschen dann wieder in die gewohnte Reihenfolge wenn sie geupdated wurden. Nein, das stimmt so nicht wirklich. In Windows 10 sind die Treiber integriert bzw. werden nach der installation heruntergeladen. Du kannst jetzt schon die VirtIO Treiber CD einbinden und die Treiber so installieren, soweit ich weiß wurden auch kürzlich erst die VirtIO Treiber für Festplatten in Windows integriert und müssen nicht mehr extra installiert werden, zumindest ist es so wenn du von SATA auf VirtIO umstellst auf einer bereits installierten Windows 10 VM. Das wäre dann wieder etwas für ein Tutorial von Usern für User, es gibt auch soviele Tutorials da draußen ich glaub in Videos von @TGFNAS wird das sogar erwähnt wenn ich mich nicht täusche. Dann würde aber der Footprint von unRAID unnötig wachsen und das wollen die Entwirckler vermeiden was ich auch verstehe. Sowas wäre zum Beispiel eine Idee für ein Plugin wobei ich beide Anwendungen nicht kenne und ich aber glaube das Chocolatey ein "Anwendungsmanager" für Windows ist und dem User das obliegt ob er das installiert oder nicht. unRAID ist in 4 Images gepackt die beim booten in den RAM geladen werden und mit dem Kernel Helper kannst du dir sachen integrieren in diese Images bzw. neue erstellen. Bitte aber nicht mehr verwenden da ich diesen bald beerdigen werde weil man seit 6.9.0 ziemlich alles per Plugins installieren kann und ich selbst weg von custom Images will weil troubleshooting dadurch evtl. unnötig erschwert wird. Von Statistiken hab ich dort aber nichts geschrieben... Ich glaube du verwechselst das mit meinen Prometheus ExporterPlugins... Das ist prinzipiell genau das gleiche wie das Intel GPU TOP oder Nvidia Driver Plugin. Das brauchst du nur wenn du die Grafikkarte in Docker containern verwenden willst, deshalb auch Plugin, erweitert das unRAID System, kann man drüber streiten ob die Erklärung ausreicht. Die meisten Anregungen oder Wünsche die du hier gepostet hast würden aber ins Feature Request Forum gehören, hier im Forum ist dir niemand böse wenn du alles auf Deutsch schreibst dann durch Google Translate o.Ä. jagst und dann dort auf Englisch postest.

Only asking because I got the same issue while upgrading to latest as @sonic6. A downgrade to: 'linuxserver/mariadb:110.4.21mariabionic-ls31' and upgrade after the downgrade solved the issue, everything is now up and running on alpine.

This is very unlikely that you get such a huge perfomance boost with QSV. Also keep in mind that even if you enable throttling in Jellyfin that it doesn't work because they disabled it in general because it caused trouble with HW acceleration. Hardware transcoding is really hard to measure with applications like Emby/Jellyfin/Plex, in my oppinion the only real benchmark is how many simultaneous streams you can encode without stuttering.

Because it's basically the same and has no real advantage/disadvantage. The only disadvantage from QuickSync is that it's proprietary and if Intel decides to depricate certain CPU architectures, like it happened lately in the Media Drivers, then QuickSync isn't working anymore like it happened for my test sytem J3xxx series and I wondered why in my Container QuickSync doesn't work anymore after switching my Container to the newest version, where on my i5-10600 system it worked flawlessly now I'm back on VAAPI on both systems.

I personally would recommend to switch to 6.10.0-rc1, the Plugin Update Helper should do everything for you, just be sure to wait a little bit after the unRAID update is finished and you should be notified like @steini84 mentioned here: The reason behind I recommend this is because on 6.10.0-rc1 is in the stable branch and it should work just fine anyways.

Never use the same folder for two instances of anything if it's a cache or working directory... Don't know exactly which permissions the original Jellyfin container uses but my containers never run as root by default. So it is now working?

Do you use the same folder for both instances from Jellyfin on your system? Have you reset the permissions on unRAID or changed disks or something like this? Has the cache disk enough space on it? As said above can't reproduce this issue, even not on my second test system. Try to set the following permissions for the folder on unRAID: chown -R 99:100 /mnt/cache/jellyfin-cache chmod -R 777 /mnt/cache/jellyfin-cache

What didn't work? What where the exact steps that you did? Hope you don't downloaded it from the CA App because that would overwrite you local template. I tested it now on my system and I can't reproduce this issue. Everything is generated just fine, found a few issues on the Jellyfin Github issue tracker with the same issue but they are all open ond not solved. Looks like to me that is specific to a few installations from users, even the official Jellyfin container has that issue. If you've enabled the iGPU VAAPI should always work, I would always recommend to use VAAPI instead of QuickSync. A buddy from me has the same system with my Jellyfin container running and I've told him that he should keep am eye on it if he has the same error if he add files.
