Then it seems like there is a problem with Plex. Try to create a ticket on the Plex forums that you've got artifacts when you are transcoding with your 11th gen CPU. Yes, I aslo think Jellyfin is a really nice application but on some edges it needs polishing... It's basically a fork from Emby and they went in two different directions some day in the past.

Yes, because you've bound the card to VFIO and if you bind it to VFIO it is exclusively reserved for VMs and strictly speaking the host, or better speaking in this case the driver that runs on the host, can't see it.

The plugin is mainly for that use case if you want to use the card for example in your Docker container for transcoding, foldingathome, boinc, mining,... (there are many use cases) No, this plugin does nothing if you are using it like in your case in a VM and bound it to VFIO, no you can't get the stats of it if it's passed through to the VM because the VM has exclusive access to it.

Welche jetzt? Ich kann dir nur sagen das ein HFR HEVC HDR10 die iGPU zu ca. 40 bis 80% auslastet. Und soweit ich gelesen hab er will ja 4K zu 4K und das ist sowieso nicht optimal.

Jein, du kannst eine Verzögerung des starts einstellen sprich starte container x erst nach n sekunden, die Reihenfolge in der du sie auf der Docker Seite hast sollte übrigens auch ausschlaggebend sein. Was ist das für ein baseimage? Kannst dir unter umständen doch ifconfig installieren. Ist aber dennoch ein seltsames Problem das ich ao noch nie gesehen hab... EDIT: kann es sein das es was mit dem start parameter zu tuhen hat: sieht zumindest so aus als gibst du den manuell mit.

Nicht jeder hat auf seinem Prozessor eine iGPU (Xeon beispielsweise). Selbst dort würde es funktionieren aber dort gilt auch, nicht jeder Prozessor hat eine iGPU. Da kommt es stark auf die bitrate an die das Originalfile hat. Wenn du ein HEVC mit HFR und 100Mbit/s hast könnte es schon mit 2 knapp werden.

Du kannst die einpacken und zu mir schicken, bin schon ewig auf der Suche... Wie gesagt ich hab das noch nie getestet weil ich keine Karte mit 2GB hab. War zwar auch kurz davor mir eine P400 zu kaufen hab mich dann aber doch für einen 1050Ti entschieden da die damals noch erschwinglich waren und die nur 40,- mehr gekostet hat.

Sei dir aber bewusst das ein 4k Stream mit Plex gleich mal ca. 1GB VRAM frisst und ich mir nicht sicher bin ob wenn ein Stream beispielsweise 1,1GB VRAM brauchen würde und der 2. auch das es da evtl. zu Problemen kommt, bin mir aber nicht ganz sicher, hab das leider noch nie probiert... Eine normale 1050 ist auch nicht zu bekommen? Ich empfehl lieber eine 1050 oder 1050Ti als eine P400 da du jetzt 3 Streams gleichzeitig transcoden könntest und noch immer genug VRAM zur verfügung hättest.

May I ask if you can try mine too? I'm using the latest Media Driver from Intel. The really strange part is that I've got reports from users that Plex is working just fine with Intel 11th gen.

Ja kannst du. Nvidia Driver Plugin drauf und Einstellungen im Docker template machen und fertig. Sieh dir am besten den Nvidia Driver Suppoert thread an, dort ist auch ein link zu den unterstützten Karten. Aber pass auf, ab ende August werden Kepler 6xx-Serie & 7xx-Serie Karten dann nicht mehr unterstützt.

What container did you use to test? Go to the Emby forums and create a report there, seems like that there is missing something inside the container. Eventually also try to set up Jellyfin and see if the transcoding is working (if you try it install my Container from the CA App because I'm using the latest Media Driver).

Why do you need joystick/gamepad support? If you want to have joystick/gamepad support you can already create a custom Kernel for that with the Kernel-Helper but keep in mind that the UDEV rules are missing.

Can you also try to set up Jellyfin and try it with that? That is really strange with the artifacts... Never seen that before...

Can you try it with a native client on iOS or Android and test another movie? If you have installed the Intel GPU TOP plugin you don't have to have the file in place because I've updated the plugin so that it handles the activation from the iGPU

Why should they max out? The iGPU is capable of 2 to 4 simultaneous 4K transcodes... and more 1080p transcodes. Have you got a screenshot? Please also include a Screenshot of the transcoding artefacts, also on which platforms did you try it (Webbrowser - Chrome - Firefox, Mobile Apps, Windows App)? Please note that you can also install the GPU Statistics plugin if you have installed the Intel GPU TOP plugin to show the usage of your iGPU on the Unraid Dashboard. Please be sure to remove the file since Intel GPU TOP plugin handles the activation from the iGPU.
