+1 to that, failing that we could install a linux VM and pass the device through but if unraid has UVC (unviersal video class, the driver the c920 uses) support then that will make it much easier

Try messing with the XHCI / ECHI hand off settings in the bios, toggling these and trial and error resulted in my usb 3.0 and usb2.0 ports being seperate busses, same for my front and rear usb.

Hey all, so i've not posted my old build but this is my newly rethought out unRAID powered home server for media and gaming. The image above is a test setup while "patiently" waiting for my Define R5 to arrive. So lets start with my previous servers, I started with a Zyxel NAS and quickly got bored of that and replaced it with a HP N54L Micro server running Synology (XPEnology) That wasn't powerful enough for me so i then got rid of that and decided to build my own server, started as AMD system but quickly was replaced with a I5 4460 running unRAID. I've recently decided i'm going to put everything in 1 pc so this is the result.. ok so im using the old docker by alptaca fine, i move over this to this (no copying of files etc) and all i get is this. now if i stop this docker and launch the old one everything works fine still, i don't use A records though as i use CNAME's pointing to my own DDNS service running on a VPS edit: port 80 external is forwarded to 81 internal and 443 to 443. edit2: ok it seems letsencrypt or docker doesn't like cnames. any way around this? i'll add a A record each time certificate expires if required but if there is a automated way let me know. final edit: ok so my DDNS was being weird, switched to duckdns and all good.

So i currently have around 9TB of storage (HDD) and around 1TB of SSD Storage, a I7 4790k a motherboard with about 10 sata ports, 32GB of DDR3 ram and a GTX 980ti and GTX 970, im thinking about combining all of this in to one unraid system, im a it tech by day so i love technical stuff. Do you think the 4790k at 50/50 would work well enough to not bottleneck performance? (of for that matter 25 for the 970 and 75 for the 980ti.) previously i did a test on a 4460 and 970 and 1 core 2core and 4 core made no different (maybe 1%) I've just ordered a Define R5 case to put it all in, the cpu will be watercooled with a 120m for now but custom in future. (I also currently run a few vm's so know all about the VM's etc, and i also know i will need to upgrade my basic license for that many drives. Thanks.

you can use your own domain with most DDNS providers just by setting a CNAME record from xxx.domain.com or domain.com to ddnsdomain.ddns.net or whatever.
