Did you happen to find a workaround for this? I am having the same issue.

Probably a stupid question but if I want to buy and activate a license for this software what version do I buy? I assume it is the linux version but I just want to be sure.

It makes no sense to me either. My public IP does change but it lasts for several months so its not a huge deal to me to have to change it every once and a while but that does not matter since it does not work. I tried 0.0.0.0 and that did nothing and actually made the problem worse and would not let me connect from within my network anymore and remote still did not work. I am out of ideas to get it to work from outside the network but its not too big of a concern for me if I dont get that working since my friend remotes into my gaming VM to play with me since he has a crap computer. If I figure out the issue I will post an update with my solution. Thank you for your help so far.

Sorry if it sounds confusing, i have tried every variation of adding the -crossplay command and nothing has worked. I currently have it as -crossplay in extra game parameters. Thank you for trying to help me, as far as I can tell everything says it just needs -crossplay added and it should work but it will not work for me. Edit. I just got it working however it only with on the local network. You need to add -PublicIPForEpic=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx to the extra game parameters with the IP of the server itself and it should work. Adding the public IP instead of the local will not work or allow outside connections.

Thank you for replying. I have the -crossplay already in the Extra Game Parameters but it still does not connect. I can use steam both local and remote to connect but I tried two different Epic accounts and they can can see the server both local and remote but they wont connect to the game.

Has anyone gotten crossplay to work on the ark server? I can see and log into the server from steam but epic games can only see the server but cant sign in it also says N/A for the ping. I have ?crossplay in the arguments and it does not work.

Can anyone help me? I am having issues getting my Ark server running. I got it visible to join but it keeps giving timed out errors and now I am losing my mind trying to get it working and the log file is completely useless to the point I hope I am looking at the wrong log (ark-se\ShooterGame\Saved\Logs). Also how can I disable Battle Eye, I tried using the arguments but Battle Eye is still on so apparently I am using the wrong arguments. Thank you for your time. Edit. No one helped me but I did figure it out. I had to change docker from using a bridged connection to using br0 custom connection with its own IP address and now it can bee seen and can be logged into.

I unfortunately do not have the logs from the last time it crashed and for now the GPU is working and I still need it for stuff so I do not want to force it to stop working until the project I am working on is finished. Also as far as I can tell it still should display video if I had a monitor hooked up to it, the GPU still shows up and it still shows the dummy plug under monitors it just cant process video encoding or 3D graphics but window remote desktop still works so that is how I am able to still see the screen. when the project is done (should be tonight) or the card drops out ill make sure to grab the diagnostics.

I have a window 10 VM I use for gaming (headless but with a HDMI dummy plug, I use parsec and steam link to play games) and suddenly a few days ago the GPU stopped working. It would show up in device manger but wouldn’t process video (encoding for parsec) or 3D rendering (gaming). My server also crashed /restarted on its own once or twice. After some tinkering around and losing my mind, I replaced the GPU BIOS file the server uses for the VM and suddenly it started working fine for several days. Last night it started doing the same thing and now replacing the BIOS isn’t fixing anything. I tried it in a different VM and it has the same issues. I took the GPU with me to work to test it outside of Unraid and it worked fine with every test. I put it and a test GPU in the server and both had the same issue. Now sometimes it loads the VM with no GPU problems and sometimes it has the issue so at this point I am losing my mind so If anyone has any ideas that would great. Also I just remembered that for the past few weeks the VM has been pausing itself for no reason that I can figure out, its only happened twice and it is possible that my friend has accidently been putting it to sleep or something but I figured I would mention it. GPU is a GTX 970, test GPU is a GT 710, running Unraid 6.9.2, VM OS is windows 10

unRAID will no longer let any user but root login to the server. in the logs it gives me this message.
