  1. Follow-up. I got them to slow down a bit by removing my Sun Flash Accelerator F80 drive that runs hot from the temp monitoring. It's safe range is up to 74C. It hovers around 40ish degrees while the rest of my array runs around 29C. With my High temperature threshold being set at 50C, the fans felt it was too close and would not slow enough. Removing the F80 has help but I'm still doing some tweaking to see if I can get lower.
  2. Since adjusting the fan sensors in the IPMI Tools Config Editor, no. Before doing so, they would do the spin down and then spin back to full repeatedly when set to Optimal.
  3. Hello all, Just sharing my experience as I haven't been able to get my fans to slow themselves down properly. They're loud and running at max according to the sensor readings page. I've tried different tweaks, but I'm open to all suggestions on how to get them to relax. Unraid Version: 7.2.3 IPMI Tools Version: 2025.12.13 Supermicro X10SL7-F Front Wall Case FAN1/2/3: ARCTIC P12 Pro PST CO (Fan Spec Range: 600-3000) Link Exhaust Wall Case FAN4: 2x Arctic F8 PWM 'Daisy-Chained' (Fan Spec Range: 300-2000) Link CPU FANA: Arctic Freezer 12 CO (Fan Spec Range: 300-2000) Link Settings: Enable Network Connection(s): No Enable Virtual Machine Override: Blank Event Notification: Yes Fan Control: Sensor Readings: (Manually configured specs are represented in screenshot) Fan Control Log: (After BMC Reset)
  4. Thank you for your reply. The PMI Tools is what I'm using. I guess I'll try tweaking options more to see if anything changes.
  5. I'm having the issue getting my fans to slow down since replacing my old front fan wall Arctic F12 PWM fans that went out. I adjusted the numbers to match the fans but can't get them to slow in any mode now after adjusting them. Currently set to "Optimal" in SM BMC. I've done the unit reset as well and they spin back up to full (or over) when the BMC full settles. Any suggestions? Does the BMC need downgraded? 6. Yeah, I just found out about it. I'm using it now to move files manually off the "Media-cache" drive because Fix Common Problems through a flag about files existing. Edit: I'm not seeing how I can get to the flash drive in Dynamix File Manager.
  7. Thank you, this was the solution. I renamed those shares from uppercase to lowercase a few years ago and didn't know it was still holding onto that somewhere in the mill of things. Here's the steps I took following your suggestion. I stopped the array. Then I used WinSCP and scared the crap out of myself because there was only one version of the share cfg files for "Data" and "Media". There were no lowercase versions. When I renamed them from "Data" to "data" and "Media" to "media", WinSCP asked did I want to overwrite, I selected yes, it then threw an error saying they didn't exist and then did not show either files any longer. Thankfully nothing was actually deleted in terms of the share. I started the array again. Went into shares, it looked like the settings were reset, thankfully, and then I was able to reconfigure my cache to array settings on both drives. Thank you again.
  8. Here's the error I'm getting. I turned on mover logging and ran it again to attach the diagnostic file. Any help is great appreciated. Jan 17 22:40:27 Reinhardt emhttpd: shcmd (199): /usr/local/sbin/mover start &> /dev/null & reinhardt-diagnostics-20250117-2226.zip
  9. Thanks Squid. I made a donation towards your beer fund.
  10. I had about 6 containers that were on the list. I've fixed those, but I don't know how to fix these remaining two. NZBHydra2 Tautulli - Host Path 1 has been changed from Read Only to R/O Slave but still having issues.

  13. Hey folks! NUT sees my Eaton 5S1500LCD as an Eaton Ellipse PRO 1500. Should I care? I just used auto detect and etc. The reporting looks fine besides that one difference.
  14. I'd just like to add. The continuous problems over the last 3 pages could have been answered by reading forum pages 11-20. Please take a moment to look.
