Not to sure we're to start but here goes nothing So out of the blue yesterday dopus says An error occurred reading folder: The system cannot open the file. (4) (this is a mapped drive by name) and explorer says something similar I reboot my desktop I'm then able to access it again I amd still able to access it by ip address I'm also running a w10 pro vm and it does NOT seem to have this prob as far as i can tell anyhelp would be great as I really don't want to have to remap the drive by ip (even though unriad is set to use a static ip) right now I'm not even able to readd my movies back up to mediacompanion bc of this Ps I havnt tried restarting the unraid server as of yet to see of the problem persistent

I'm still having the same issue I noticed it this morning and now again just a few min ago

so i would like to do this same test on my server to see were i stand bc it feels like sometimes its slower then what it should be so i put this in iperf C:\Users\owner\Desktop\iperf-3.1.3-win64>iperf -c 192.168.1.24 -w 2m -t 30s -i 1s 'iperf' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. so im not quite sure what to put in command wise

well i have all my torrents loaded and seeded on this vm i wish i could find that space invator video bc i have another ssd (newer scandisk 240gb) i could possibley clone it to even tho the current one is 1tb

If I remember right it was ok when I used it in my old computer and unraid doesn't report it as having problems is their a way I can find out if it does?

it seems slower then it was with 32gb and 20 cores its still sitting @ the log in screen as i type this msg fyi just barly now loading desktop

im having a similar issue mine shows but is stitting @ 0% on all cores i just noticed it today i also included a .zip file for diagnostics big-beast-diagnostics-20230530-1704.zip

not really sure how to put this but my recycle bin was working great and i could see it from directory opus (explorer replacement) i had to restart in safe mode to fix something and after rebooting to normal mode the recycle bin has vanished and am unable to acess .Recycle.bin from the mapped drive nor from browsing to it from network i havnt tryed restarting unraid as of yet but did update the plug in

i have the rr 3740b thankfully my server mb has onboard sas and the sm backpane is the one with the chip on it but would love to use this card in the future

my windows 10 vm is super slow too though im not sure what this is/means Changed VM to use /dev/urandom for RNG not sure how to do this part also how do i do these Updated virtio windows drivers to latest (0.1.190-1) Updated VM Machine to i440fx-5.1 (was i440fx-4.2)

i did get krusador to work ( kinda ) ( when i goto move the files ) and thats what i want to do for my own sanity )(and i like how it works ) but whe i goto do that and it moves the files it acts as if it doesnt have root permiss ions ? bc it gives a move error can not delete file so if thats the case how do i get it into root mode with out reinstalling it as i dont see it in the options and i tried to goto root mode under tools i used my root pw for unraid it just says its incorrect so im really @ a loss

hi all im a total newb to unraid im trying to move from a windows based (win 10 pro) based server with all ntfs drives so i need to move the data from those drives to the new unraid server and as i move the data off the old server ill add each drive to the unraid server anyway copying all my movies (9 ish tb ) and i have tons of tiny jpg tbn etc files along with the move files and its taking way to long via 1gb nic so my hope is i can connect each drive 1 at a time to my external usb hotswap bay and mount them in unraid except beyond the unassined drives option i have no clue how to acess them inside the krusador docker is their a easyer way or what am i missing here
