leeknight1981
As the title says iv clicked upgrade and I get UNRAID boot device not found, press ENTER to reboot. I updated plugins, docker and took a flash backup So what can the issue be as I can’t get in for logs. regards lee 1 Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
That suggests a flash drive problem, try re-creating it. Quote Link to comment
bb12489
I'm having this same issue after upgrading from 6.9 to 6.10. Edit: Just restored 6.9 on my flash drive and it's booting normally now. Edited August 21, 2021 by bb12489 Quote Link to comment
Fazzical
I had exactly the same issue. Restrored to 6.9.2 from the backups and all back fine. Quote Link to comment
trurl
Maybe try again using this method then copy your config folder from your backup Quote Link to comment
valenhua
I have the same problem of this issue, what's going on? 6.9.2 works well, but can't boot after upgraded to 6.10 Quote Link to comment
GrimD
Same here. Tried formatting the USB, and doing a fresh (didn't copy my config folder across) manual install of 6.10 but the issue was the same. Have manually installed 6.9.2, copied my old config folder across and am backup and running with out issue. So seems there is a bug\issue in 6.10. I'm using a 16GB SanDisk Corp. Cruzer Fit as the boot USB Quote Link to comment

Maticks
Looks like the lsi 9211 don’t work in 6.10 rolled back to 6.9 works fine. Quote Link to comment

GrimD
I've created a bug report for this issue if any one else wants to add their diagnostic reports too it. Might help locate if its due to a particular bit of hardware etc. 1 Quote Link to comment
BVTJ
I had this same issue. I tried to remove the USB drive and run the "make bootable" bat file and it kept giving me an access denied to MBR error. I was able to work around this by copying all of the contents of my USB drive to my hard drive, zipping it, creating an ISO from the zip file using AnyToISO 3.9.6 Lite Version and then writing that ISO to the USB using RUFUS making sure to name the volume UNRAID. It booted fine after that. Maybe this will help someone else with the same issue. Edited May 19, 2022 by BVTJ 1 Quote Link to comment

Thank you!! 1 Quote Link to comment
