Mexicanfernando
I can't get into my Unraid server anymore after updating. Updated to 6.10-rc4 and i'm getting eth0 does not exist error. I'm running a 10G NIC. I did try to switch to another ethernet port on the MOBO on my server and got the same error. Please help. Mexicanfernando
I have no GUI so i did the command to get diagnostics. It gave me location of a zip file but i'm not sure what drive that location is on. Do you know if the zip file saves to my system flashdrive? Quote Link to comment

JorgeB
No driver for that NIC, what version did you update from? IIRC it already didn't work with v6.9 because the driver didn't build with the kernel used. Quote Link to comment
Mexicanfernando
If I remember right it was v6.3. I did try and use other ethernet ports on my motherboard so I didn't think the NIC would still be the problem. Quote Link to comment
Solution JorgeB Posted April 21, 2022 Solution Share Posted April 21, 2022 You can use the other Ethernet ports, but it must be set as eth0, you can just delete network-rules.cfg from the flash drive and reboot. Quote Link to comment
Mexicanfernando
Deleting that config file worked. I'm connected again. Now the issue is my NIC needs a driver. How do I install a driver on unraid? I don't recall needing to do this before. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Problem is that the driver for that NIC doesn't build with recent kernel releases, you can ask the manufacturer to see if they release an updated driver, if yes LT would likely include it in a future release. Quote Link to comment
