Networking problem? GUI not accessible but ping works.

Hey I'm setting up new unraid server using old unraid Plus usb stick I used in the past. I red on forums that I can wipe the old config by deleting everything in config folder except the plus.key so I did that. CLI says the unraid is up, and it got IP from my DHCP.

 

I can ping it:

 

But I cant reach the GUI:

 

I tried giving it a static IP in router, and rebooted but with the new IP (192.168.5.14 which is the same one server used before without problems) I'm getting exact same problem. Ping is ok but GUI is not.

You can't delete all the config files, create a new Unraid install then copy only the key.

Don't know where you read that bad advice.

 

That would have deleted go, so webUI wouldn't be started.

Thank you guys, backing up the key and then re-creating usb fixed everything.

Edited that post referenced to also say to not delete the go file.

 

My bad -> sorry for the inconvenience.  Sometimes around here we assume things and don't properly spell it out for others that might not be as knowledgeable.
