December 19, 20232 yr Hallo Zusammen, ich bin neu hier und habe erst ein paar Wochen einen unraid Server. Ich möchte gerne über Lucky Backup einige Shares von unraid auf dem Synology Nas sichern. Dazu habe ich gelesen, das ich Unassigned Devices installieren muss. Gesagt und getan, ich wähle smb aus, Benutzername, Passwort und zum Schluss das Share auf dem Synology Nas. Bis hierhin funktioniert es prima. Das SMB wird angelegt, aber nicht gemounted und ich weiß nicht wo ich den Fehler suchen muß? Kann mir Jemand helfen, bzw. Hat Jemand schonmal das selbe Problem gehabt? Ich bin für eine Antwort sehr dankbar! Gruß Oliver

"Unraid has a GUI option under Tools->Diagnostics to capture a lot of information about the state of your system that can be helpful when trying to diagnose any issues. Dec 21 16:00:46 unraid unassigned.devices: Removing configuration 'DS1621:/volume1/Backup-Unraid'. und wäre es normal nicht noch .../volume./... bei ner syno, weiß es nicht genau da ich sowas nicht nutze wenn du von einem anderen Gerät im Lan pingst geht es ? ...140 und DS1621, wenn ja, bliebe ja fast nur DNS von Unraid ... wobei du da "schätze ich" 8.8.8.8 eingetragen hast, teste mal mit 192.168.2.1 als DNS Server (in der Hoffnung du hast keinen pihole oder adguard welcher vom Router dann auch provided wird ... wäre mein erster Ansatz. @dlandon may you see something in the logs aside unreachable ...
December 23, 20232 yr Solution This is the issue: Dec 19 14:44:31 unraid unassigned.devices: Remote Server '192.168.2.140' is offline and remote share 'Backup-Unraid' cannot be mounted. The Synology has to respond to a ping. The gray orb next 'SMB' is an indication the Synology is not responding. It should be green. I think I've seen where users have to enable something on a Synology so it will respond to a ping.
