ketchup_man
Since today the unraid dashboard shows no more uptime in the top bar and says 'Unraid OS Stale'. Underneath, where the name of the server should actually be, it says 'Fix Error'. When I click on it I get a button 'Check for OS Updates'. This takes me to a page with the error 'This USB Flash device has an invalid GUID'. Does this mean that my flash drive is broken? Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Try rebooting and post the diags if you see the same. Quote Link to comment
maxmonci
I'm experiencing this as well... maybe this isn't an isolated issue? I originally thought it may be because I'm running an outdated version of Unraid (Version 6.11.5 2022-11-20). I've attached my diagnostics. Can't find any other references to the issue in the forums. titan-diagnostics-20240122-1753.zip Quote Link to comment
maxmonci
Navigating between pages in the Web UI is also noticably slower. Took a peek into the browser console and found a hideous amount of errors being thrown. I've redacted potentially sensitive info: Edited January 23 by maxmonci Quote Link to comment

ketchup_man
I still have this problem. In the meantime, I have updated to 6.12.8. Attached you find the diagnostics after a restart. Do you have any idea what the problem causes?homeserver-diagnostics-20240218-1820.zip Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Do you see the same if you boot in safe mode? Quote Link to comment
ketchup_man
Just tried restarting in safe mode. It's the same. Quote Link to comment
ketchup_man
After I tried to start normally I got the status mail that my USB drive is not read-write. Do you think this is related to the original problem? These are the Errors and Warnings I got after this. Quote Link to comment

ketchup_man
I switched to a new USB stick today. The problem with "Stale" still remains. I also see it now at the place where I should register my license. Refreshing the page doesn't help. Quote Link to comment
ketchup_man
I'm using Chrome. Just tried again with Firefox. Looks the same. Quote Link to comment
trurl
Do you have other browsers open to your server anywhere? Quote Link to comment
ketchup_man
No, I don't think so. Quote Link to comment

ketchup_man
Maybe I misunderstood your question. I thought you meant whether I access the GUI in other browser instances. But you mean if I have other browsers to test if the GUI behaves differently there? Quote Link to comment
trurl
I mean do you currently have any other browser tabs or browsers accessing your Unraid webUI, including mobile devices and apps. Quote Link to comment
ketchup_man
No. This is the only device and browser accessing the webUI. I don't use any mobile app to access Unraid. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Try booting in safe mode and if you still the same post new diags. Quote Link to comment
ketchup_man
The problem no longer occurs in Safe mode. But when I boot normally it's there again. Do you have any idea how I can get rid of it in normal mode? Quote Link to comment

Do you have any idea how I can get rid of it in normal mode? If the problem does not appear in Safe Mode this normally means it is being caused by a plugin. No idea which one so it may be a case of trial and error to identify the culprit. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
And please let us know if you find out which plugin is causing the problem. Quote Link to comment
ketchup_man
It was the Unraid Connect plugin that caused the problem. After uninstalling everything seems good. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Strange, based on the diags it was using the latest version, @ljm42@elibosley any ideas? Quote Link to comment
