Influencer
Im up for testing, let us know when 'dev' branch is safe. I use CP, SAB, SB and HP. They should be safe for testing now, I just wasn't sure last night because after installing them I tried accessing the sabnzbd plug-in and couldn't, thought I might have broke something major, but it must have been the parity check because this morning everything worked as expected. Rastarize
Hoping someone can help on what I'm sure is a simple request. How can I access the install directory of Sickbeard? I'm trying to modify the autoProcessTV file and can get to the location via telnet and Midnight Commander, but cannot find a way to access it through my Mac. Thanks. Link to comment
Influencer
You will want to copy the autoProcessTV script to your data directory, so any changes you make to it will survive a reboot. If your install directory is the default /usr/local/sickbeard, this should work for you: #If your data directory for sabnzbd is /mnt/cache/apps/sabnzbd cp /usr/local/sickbeard/autoProcessTV/* /mnt/cache/apps/sabnzbd/scripts/ chown -R nobody:users /mnt/cache/apps/sabnzbd/scripts/ After you get done editing the scripts, chown it again, and chmod as well(just to make sure there are no permission issues) chmod -R /mnt/cache/apps/sabnzbd/scripts/ chown -R nobody:users /mnt/cache/apps/sabnzbd/scripts Link to comment
JustinChase
I just took a look at SickBeard this morning, and it was showing me a bunch of errors. i un-enabled it, then re-enabled it, and it's not giving me any errors any more, but it's not showing any of my TV shows either, it's blank Justinchase, looks like your DB was corrupted or the new version of sickbeard required a change in the DB. Not entirely sure what to say there... Can you check that the DB file is read/write accessible to sickbeard? ls -l /path/to/your/data/directory I ran these 2 commands on the /mnt/cache/plugins directory chmod -R 777 /mnt/cache/plugins/ chown nobody:users /mnt/cache/plugins/ then copied the old .db files over the ones on the cache drive (which had gone to zero values), and it worked fine again. it worked fine for several hours. However, this morning, it was errored out again, and not working. Influencer
Ok, I think I know whats happening here, but I may be wrong, bear with me here You need to remove the backup of the sickbeard.db from the server, you can locate it on the pc but I believe unraid is finding the duplicate and might be messing with it (this has to do with shfs and the way unraid collects all the files for user shares). Try moving it to your mac, and then copy it to the new data directory, making sure its removed from the old location. Then lets see if it continues to corrupt the db Link to comment
mrow
Not really an problem per say but the version of unrar that is included in the package is pretty old. Maybe it's time to include the latest version? In 4.2 decompression speed was improved. I installed it myself and it seems to be working fine. There is a slackware package available. http://pkgs.org/slackware-13.37/slackers-i686/unrar-4.2.4-i686-1cf.txz.html Link to comment

I tried moving the whole /mnt/user/backup/plugins directory to my PC, but it left behind a folder called sickbeard, but it was locked, and prevented me from even opening it. I removed the folder in Putty, but it got recreated within about a minute or 2. I then took a look at what was in there in putty and saw the autoProcessTV folder, and realized that I still had that path set in SABnzbd. I just fixed that now. I'm going to remove the install directory, then reboot the server, then make sure it's running again, then copy the .db files back over, and we'll see how that goes. Thanks for the help. Otherwise, I'm really confused. I wonder if going back to an earlier plg might help. I'll have to look and see which ones have worked for me in the past, and give it a try. I've already tried removing the installation and data folders, then rebooting to start from scratch, but then I copied my .db files from the old install. Maybe I'll try again, but only copy the sickbeard.db file, and not the cache.db file. There are also 2 other files in the main folder upon fresh install, but they are not there now (on the cache/data drive). config.ini and sickbeard.db.v0 are both missing. Okay, progress. It seems to be caused by the mover script. I just double-checked that the "plugins" share is set to use Cache ONLY. I also had it set to exclude all of my drives, just to be sure. I have just now removed all them, so it's not including, nor excluding any discs. i also looked at the last file that was processed fine, and it finished 10 minutes after the mover was scheduled to run. The next one was 'finished' about 30 minutes later, telling me that the one that finished started 30 minutes before it finished, which was before the mover script kicked in. Coupled with the fact that some files are missing from the sickbeard, i think I've found a smoking gun. Also, i just checked and there is a "plugins" folder on disk4, with (only) a sickbeard folder, then a cache and logs folders, along with the missing files, and the good .db files. Why did they get moved to disk4? Seems a mover error, I suppose I need to report that as a bug. Now, if the change to not exclude other drives doesn't fix it, what will? How do I get the mover script to leave the cache only folder completely alone? Is there maybe a permissions error? (Or, am I mistaken about it being caused by the mover script?) Link to comment
JustinChase
Sorry, also, the "update PLG" button seems to 'work', but it never goes away, leading you to believe there is still an upgrade available. Not a big deal, just an FYI Link to comment
Influencer
It won't go away, right now its always there. If I can figure a way to reliably check for a update I'll change it, but for now its there to stop you from having to manually update. Not sure if I can have git check on the file level, each commit changes the entire repositories SHA-1, which is what we use for the actual apps to know if there is an update. So if I change one plug-in, and had the plug-ins set to check the SHA-1, they all would think there is an update. I'll see if I can check this on a file only level. It definitely sounds like the mover script, I've never had that issue, might be the excludes disk that caused it, or the fact that there was previously an identical directory on the array. Will require some testing to figure out. I'll hopefully be able to do some testing tomorrow, been at work since 7 am this morning(6:30 pm now) and about to head back in til around midnight, will be back in tomorrow morning at 5 am, ! Don't worry though, I will find time to investigate this. I do not believe its the plug-in(as the db is being corrupted, which the plug-in doesn't mess with at all), but it would be nice to get to the bottom of this! Link to comment

Tybio
When ever I start sickbeard, for some reason I can no longer access unRAID's web gui. Is there a way to restart it? That is normally caused by the startup not finishing. If you are good with BASH, try this: ps -auxx | grep sickbeard That should list processes that have sickbeard in the name...the one that sometimes hangs if options are not set properly is rc.sickbeard. JustinChase
...try this: ps -auxx | grep sickbeard Whoops, Tybio fat fingered Type this (with just 1 x)... ps -aux | grep sickbeard You should get a list of at least 2 instances of sickbeard. the first one is usually the one that needs to be killed. you'll see a PID number, type "kill [that PID]" (no quotes) and it will kill the process that is hung, and the GUI should return in about 5 to 10 seconds. If there are 3 instances of sickbeard, it seems the middle/second one is usually the one to kill, but i kill the first 2 in that case, just to be sure. The final instance is the grep command you just ran, so you can ignore that always. Link to comment
Influencer
Can you access sickbeard when this happens? You can also copy a syslog and see if anything is happening there as well cp /var/log/syslog /boot/syslog.txt You can then go to your "flash" share and get the syslog to post here if you are unsure. If sickbeard isn't starting then it is the command not finishing causing your issue. If it IS running, and you can access it, there may be something else going on. Link to comment

SABnzbd and SickBeard. However I fixed it, after updating both of them manually it is now putting .old files in both and seems to be working correctly. Thanks for the feature, makes updating much easier. Link to comment
Influencer
No problem, was a good idea and I'm glad I got it in. I added the version number so its easier to know if you have a newer version, but since I haven't pushed any new changes I haven't had a chance to make sure it works correctly(deleting old version file and writing new one) but it should work fine. Hopefully next week things will settle down at work and ill be able to get more accomplished! Its looking like I'm going to spend every waking hour at work this week. 18 hours today, its 12:39 am and I'm back in at 5 am. Plus side is I'm 3 days into the work week and already on overtime. Influencer
Looks like you might have saved it wrong. Try downloading the plug-in again, go to the link in my sig, scroll towards the bottom, you'll see "DOWNLOADS", right click on sab and save link as Link to comment
samo
My bad! I clicked the link up the top which linked to /blob/master instead of /raw/master Link to comment
mrjoshzombie
I don't visit the forums for awhile and come to see this, I'm glad! I will be upgrading my SAB/Sick/CPv2/Headphones plugins after the weekend and see how things go. I'm sure I can speak for everyone in saying thank you for supporting them. Link to comment
