New poll question on how many community plugins you use with your unRAID array

Recommended Posts

Basically I'm running totally stock other than the half a dozen packages i put in extras

I'm completely the opposite, I'm a sucker for sparkly shiny plugins that look good or offer a bit of extra "ooooh"

Had to edit that otherwise it was going to sound funny lol

lol, i wont tell anybody, esp your wife/gf :-)

Dynamix Zend OPcache

What is that one?  Haven't seen it...

Haven't announced this one officially, but you may install it.

It uses the Zend OPcache functionality to cache PHP scripts, this can help accelerating the execution of PHP since the source doesn't need to be compiled each time.

#php -v
PHP 5.4.41 (cli) (built: Jun 16 2015 09:20:38)
Copyright (c) 1997-2014 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v2.4.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2014 Zend Technologies
with Zend OPcache v7.0.5, Copyright (c) 1999-2015, by Zend Technologies

I looked it up last night.  But a question on it.  Do you have it set to check for changes to the php file everytime it runs, or does it never check.

By default OPcache looks at the timestamp of the files to detect changes.

If want you to deep dive, have a look at the settings file /etc/php/conf.d/opcache.ini
