A simple plugin to override unRaid's artificial maximum limit of 1920 pixels across and allow any width of browser to be utilized

I've been running this for a few days now, and I have to say it's working flawlessly.

What I've used it on:

-1440p standard monitor

-1440p Ultrawide monitor

-same monitor, half display

-phone

While I don't anticipate any updates required for this plugin in the near term (outside of today's which updated the icon), there was a typo in the original plugin which prevents unRaid from seeing any updates for it.  The fix is to uninstall, and then reinstall (no reboot is required)

Good Job! Thanks!

Can I suggest adding this to the plugin please.

sed -i 's/@media (min-width:1921px){#template{min-width:1260px;margin:0 auto}}//g' /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/styles/*.css

By removing this media query it keeps a 10px margin which prevents boxes going to the edge of the screen, resulting in the UI looking more like stock.

Just wanted to say thank you for this! Unraid looks so much better on my ultrawide now.

Hi, is there any way to disable the fullwidth again? Just wanted to test it and after I did, I see it's not what I wanted. Sadly deinstalling will not disable the full width again :(

Checked all settings but no success.

Tnx

You also need to reboot.  There's a note when you uninstall advising this.

oh, you are right, I missed that, thank you :)

Same applies with the dashboard, etc, works on every page. And of course, this 6.12.4

@Squid the sneaky developers have changed this media query last year slightly so this doesn't work anymore! 1921px became 1920px. Can you update the plugin please :)

Not seeing this issue.  What OS version are you running?  This is from 6.12.8

Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

Screenshot2024-06-13142521.png.b7188e172b3e5cbbb81b0d596fd67022.png

Some items run right into the edge of the browser window. Can we add a padding around the entire interface just to give a little breathing room?

Thanks!

Are there any plans to make this compatible with v7?

Read the first bit, probably should read the whole thing before updating anyway.

I looked for it but couldn't find any settings related to Unlimited Width now.  All of the systems I've updated no longer have the same appearance as they did previously. I guess ill keep looking.

ETA: Found it under display settings.

I came here looking for the same thing. If anyone else needs it, it can be found here.
