I have 3 gpus in my system.

When choosing all 3 nothing reports.

Works with 1 or 2 but not 3.

I have intel, and, and nvidia.

is it possible to make all 3 work ?

Yes I have 4. Will put one in each column. Can you provide a screen shot and move details of your GPUs. i.e lspci | grep VGA

    Good day, plugin also stopped working for me.   root@Unraid:/usr/local/emhttp/plugins/gpustat# cd /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/gpustat/ && php ./gpustatus.php Fatal error: Uncaught TypeE

  • I have created a PR for b3rs3rk's plugin to add MultiGPU support for 6.12 as Dashboard panels are different in 6.12. The PR works on pre realeases but does not provide Multi support. There are some ot

Can you please provide a bit more information, it is working just fine for me.

Please maybe also post your Diagnostics.

Any idea on when we can expect this to work with iGPU's on Arrowlake? I have the 265k and it shows in the settings page, but then I get the "Vendor command returned no data" message

I believe there is driver support in current kernel, Also intel GPU top does not supports the XE driver required. Likely to be 7.1 before kernel is moved from 6.6 to 6.12.

The public betas had 6.8 but went eol hence running 6.6, so you could use the beta.

@ich777 @SimonF I noticed now that when I shutdown my Win10 VM, the GPU statistics became visible. Can you please check again my previous diagnostics if there are conflict with Windows VM? Thanks. image.png.52fa775efee48f49566521ae0867df3a.png

My VM graphics card config is as follow:

Can you post new diagnostics, do you have the igpu defined inside the VM?

Was reading through the pages but don't see any details related to support for Battlemage Arc cards. Anyone have details on what would be needed to get that sorted? Currently running rc2 of unraid 7 for reference.

Currently have an asrock Challenger b580 installed and it is detected on the system devices page under the IOMMU group but running intel_gpu_top -J or -L shows no devices. GPU statistics lets me select the GPU but no details come out. See below images for refence. Can run any commands needed to help this along.

Also attaching a set of diagnostics while my parity check runs - had a few prior reboots while swapping out the motherboard.

There is no support for the card in the current 7 kernel 6.6.66. Kernel is likely to be changed for 7.1 to 6.12 LTS

lkddb pci 8086 e202 .... .... 03.... : CONFIG_DRM_XE : drivers/gpu/drm/xe/xe_pci.c # in 6.11–6.12, 6.13-rc+HEAD

Battlemage is not supported yet, you have to wait for Unraid 7.1.0 beta/rc series.

Damn, that's too bad I was hoping the A3xx support was enough to limp by until that time. Thanks for confirmation and the links.

Then again, that's what I get for limping by with an Nvidia p620 for years using @ich777 Nvidia plugin to manage drivers for that and thought I'd dump some cash on a fancy new GPU lol...

I have no igpu define in VM as seen on my screenshots. Here is the new diagnostics with the Win10 VM shutdown. Hope we can find the root cause of this. Thanks.

I cannot see any thing obvious, You do have the onboard audio device on pci 1f.3 passed thru. Have you always had that?

<hostdev mode="subsystem" type="pci" managed="yes">

<driver name="vfio"/>

<source>

<address domain="0x0000" bus="0x00" slot="0x1f" function="0x3"/>

</source>

<address type="pci" domain="0x0000" bus="0x00" slot="0x12" function="0x0"/>

</hostdev>

Yes and it is audio. Does that thing connected to iGPU?

Maybe it is possible to get sound via the hdmi so likely to be connected but I don't know for certain.

Ok I will remove it, start the VM and observe it. Thanks.

EDIT:

@SimonF I removed the audio and start the VM and then this again.

When I installed the Intel GPU TOP plugin, I can now display GPU work normally. thank you.

@ich777 @SimonF I think I have solved my problem. My problem, if you can remember, is connected with virtiofs. When I removed that from my VM config, the GPU stats are back. Been running good now for 10 hours and still ok.

Strange not sure why Virtiofs would break igpu unless it is memory related.

Maybe look at going to 7 as that has a different implementation of the virtiofs backend.

I don't know why but when I removed the virtiofs config and followed this guide, it worked. Do you have Windows 10 VM running and virtiofs config in VM? If yes, what virtio driver are you using?

Driver is virtiofs needs to be from latest iso as had some memory leaks in older versions. Ideally needs to have rust back end which is in 7.

I'm using version 266 which I believe is the latest image.png.03a8e8ea152236f6c7935964079f584f.png

  • 3 weeks later...

Recently upgraded unraid to 6.12.14 and updated the gpu driver to 565.57.01. Now the GPU statistics does not show the icon for a docker that is using the gpu. Code Project AI docker runs 24/7 but never shows under GPU statistics. My plex icon still works.

Can you do the following

nano /tmp/gpuapp

copy this into the editor.

#!/usr/bin/php
<?php

$pid = $argv[1];

$file = sprintf('/proc/%0d/cmdline', $pid);

if (file_exists($file)) {
    $pidcommand = trim(@file_get_contents($file), "\0");
}

$command = '';
$pid_command = 'ps -o ppid= '.$pid;

$ppid = (int)trim(shell_exec($pid_command));
if ($ppid > 0) {
    $file = sprintf('/proc/%0d/cmdline', $ppid);

    if (file_exists($file)) {
        $ppidcommand = trim(@file_get_contents($file), "\0");
    }
}

echo "PID: $pidcommand \nPPID: $ppidcommand";

?>

Save and then chmod +x /tmp/gpuapp

then run /tmp/gpuapp PID

PID would be 15702 from the example above from nvidia-smi

Then provide the output.

root@computenode:~# /tmp/gpuapp 15858
PID: /usr/libexec/Xorg-novtswitch-allowMouseOpenFail-quiet-xinerama-v-s0-dpms-fp/usr/share/fonts/TTFvt07-auth/var/run/slim.auth
PPID: /usr/bin/slimroot@computenode:~#
