  1. Don’t know if this has already been suggested or not (quick search didn’t turn up anything) so appologies if it has been suggested already. I was just thinking that it would be really useful if we could have a central managment WebUI for situations where you have multiple unraid servers running on different machines. It would let you just have one place to go to manage all servers, you could have a list of all your vm’s and docker containers as well as all your arrays and user shares. Obviously it would actually be a lot of work to get this up and running so I was thinking you could just start by making a quick interface which has a link to the management page of each of your unraid servers, it could also have a little status indicator next to each server, then move on to upgrade it with more features form there. let me know what you guys think and what other features/suggestions you have

  3. Just a note for others finding this thread. Parity 1 is valid when disks are rearranged, if you have Parity 2 assigned, it will need to be rebuilt. Whether or not you have only one parity drive is not relevant, only which slot it occupies. A single parity disk assigned to parity 2 would need to be rebuilt if you rearrange the slot assignments as discussed in this thread.

  4. Many thanks for this - that was exactly the reason my install wouldn't boot. Just in case this helps anyone else - the install failed at the same point as before. I discovered it was because I was using the video card output. This was despite using VNC as the graphics option. I switched the graphics chipset to internal in the BIOS and OSX installed. It's now running with the NVidia passed through One last hitch, I was using DisplayPort and DVI to connect two monitors to my card. The system would show the Clover screen, start to boot, then both monitors would turn off just before reaching the OSX login screen. I replaced the DisplayPort with a second DVI and now everything works as expected. Seems a little strange, don't know if I've missed anythimg?

  5. I am running both repos, and its the same situation. I presume the network was being tested, and now its not. This is why the alocs are basically 0, not because of the repo. If you read the subreddit, everyone is in the same boat.

  6. This used to be the case, some of the new SAS3 Expanders from Broadcom (LSI) support DataBolt bandwidth optimizer technology enabling full bandwith even when 6Gbit SATA drives are used.

  8. @bonienl might I suggest on the next release, the shadowing for the selected tab be inverted. For example, when on the plugins tab, you have the background as the greyish color, but the selected tab is the darkened color. To me, at least, it makes more sense for the in focus tab to match the background, with the out of focus tab be the darker of the two. For example, below I have the "Installed Plugins" tab selected, which to me seems backwards to the "Install Plugin" tab.:

  10. I have spent more than 20 hours playing around with hyper-v, proxmox and esxi, sometimes the problem was the driver of the network card, or the sr iov not working, the passthrough not working, then I try unraid, and It just works, I haven't touched the CLI to do the things that failed in the other hypervisors and in Unraid everything worked as expected. I have to try it a little bit more but probably I will buy it. I someone is fighting with proxmox, hyper-v, esxi, just forget it, install unraid and enjoy it, the money it cost will pay the time you will save.
