Friday I fixed my DB. Tonight it corrupted again 6 days later !! Any help would be greatly received ? I used to run my Plex server on an intel nuc windows machine for like 3 years solid and never had these types of issues. would love to know if it’s my unraid set or a bug in unraid or the docker or something I’m doing with either backups or PMM ? Help ! Thanks

Well I've always used them, so I couldn't tell you how much they lowered by temps by. I cant find the guys i used but I think it was here:- https://3dprintdirect.co.uk/quote/ And it cost something like £25-30 ? which is a bit steep for a bit of plastic, but worth it for peace of mind. An FYI, i had to shave a bit off the ducts to get them to fit, not alot, but a bit.

Hi All, I run 3 VM's on my unraid server. 2 Windows 10 and 1 Windows 11. They are nothing special (no graphics card passthrough or stuff like that) just daily drivers and normally only 1 is running at any one time. Both of my Windows 10 VM's are corrupted and wont load now giving me a "windows error 0xc000021a" BSOD. on boot. The latest one asked to add some windows updates and hit restart as soon as i did this I get the above message so i dont think its a corrupt Cache drive. Can anyone help or give advice as to how to get this back ? Cheers Dan

Hi, I think my Samsung 970 EVO 500GB cache drive is dying. I'm starting to have multiple random errors on my system such as:- Docker image becoming read only VM discs becoming corrupted Shares disappearing and reappearing on reboot. Dockers becoming unavailable, shutting down and not updating (Tautulli, & other stuff) ... probably same as 1. The S.M.A.R.T results for my cache drive are the only drive in my array thats showing errors (Its less than a year old):- Numb Err Log Entries = 172 Media Errors = 1 So heres my question:- Can i move everyting off of my cache drive and onto my array for a period of time (Until I can save for a new SSD) to be my system stable again and then move everything back to the array once i install a new one What would the steps be (Is it as simple as setting all of the shares to Cache:No) letting the mover do its thing and then continue that way Thanks D. neo-diagnostics-20211023-0836.zip

Proper random (Probably stupid question). If I run a terminal command (Using the web interface) on windows using Chrome I cant escape out of a running script by hitting "Ctrl + C." On the screen is shows "^c" am I missing something, maybe a keyboard driver update or something silly ? Cheers D.

Hi All, I've been patiently waiting for 6.9 to come out so that i could get my temps and fans working on my ryzen system. I have a ryzen 3600 & ROG STRIX B450-I MB. I managed to get the temps working but the PWM fans arent being recognised. I installed Noctua case fans and CPU fan. Heres my temp set-up in Dynamix System Temperature And here what i see in Dynamix Auto Fan Control Any help would be great.! Cheers D.

oh and the inspiration for my build came from this video:- Except i didn't go quite so high end on the specs as 1) I couldn't afford it 2) it should run a bit less hot with some of my specs (Hopefully) Also i didn't want to sacrifice a drive bay as shown in the video, so with a very small 1650 you keep all your drive bays usable.

Ok, so a little update from a first time unraider. got two (14tb) drives that I’m preclearing at the mo and will get into the server when they are ready. They are wd element drives. Which are currently running very hot during preclear (around 50c). Had to get a fan on them to bring them back down to a more acceptable 34c. I also forgot to mention I 3D printed two skirts to sort out the airflow issue as seen below. A word of warning these skirts need to be filled / cut down a bit to work with Noctua fans as they are slightly too high for the Ds380 drive cage. But otherwise good to go. I don’t have a 3D printer myself so had to use an online service to print them (£25) for 3 but you only need 2. You can find the design files on google. my only other gripe so far is that with Unraid version 6.8.3 you can’t see the cpu or fan temps on ryzen CPU or boards. Apparently this is fixed in version 6.9 but I’m going to wait for a stable release before upgrading (I’m a nervous neW unraider). ill let you know the temps of my new drives once they are through preclear (about a week) and on the server

Got it to work in the end. Got a Palit 1650 which fits in the case without the need to loose a drive bay. So with this setup I’ve got 8 hot swappable bays plus 1 m.2 SSD and a second 2.5 SSD. based on a ryzen 3600. took me ages to build

Hi, Just curious has anyone managed to get a 1650 Super graphics card inside the DS380 without having to sacrifice a drive bay ?? I'm doing a new Ryzen build with this case and am looking at getting a MSI GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER AERO ITX OC 4GB Graphics Card for Transcoding, but want to triple check it will fit without loosing a bay ?
