oh nice! I don't recall seeing it when looking at CA. I'm surprised it's not more popular on here and wanted to get your guys' opinion on it's specific use in unraid. It seems pretty great, like rclone except it actually provides true versioned backups.

I’ve been exploring different options to back up my main box. Tried VMs with Arq, and It just doesn’t cut it. I decided on running a minio S3 docker on the remote unraid box. It seems like restic, although no GUI would be the best option. But I can’t seem to find any info on how to install it and have it working with unraid. It seems like a popular backup tool just not much on unraid. can you guys help me out on how I can use this thing? I really don’t want to have to create a VM again just to use a command line type of backup. Would appreciate some help

yes I was, I changed to e1000-82545em, and the upload went up to 60Mbps! Much better but still for some reason when I am using Arq Backup the upload speed is <1Mpbs, when compared to my macbook its around 7Mbps. Anything else I could try?

Guys, help! strange issue . with upload I have a 100/100 line. When I test on macbook at speedtest.net I get pretty much 100/100. But when I go over to the VM I get 100/0.34Mbps! I set up this VM to do backups and realized that the upload was painfully slow. I then tested the same backup software on my macbook and the speed was great. So I then went over to speedtest.net on the VM and then tested it against my macbook, on the same network obviously, and got those results. What is causing the the upload to be so slow on the VM? Just ran the test again: On macbook got 98Mbps down/118Mbps Up On the VM it was also 98Mbps down and then upload was so slow it errored out! "Upload test error a firewal could be blocking the connection" What's going on here?

Great work! Had an issue with the corrupted screen but as someone posted in this thread the <OS> tags kept getting re-written also, now all is well. Quick question, are there any tweaks to make to have it running smooth with a significant uptime. Use case would be for backup software, that it's only purpose.

Hey guys, Do you know if this will easily work with minio docker? I was watching the spaceinvader one's video on LE but LE doesn't have a config file for minio so I'm not sure what to do.

Hey guys, I'm looking to set up minio with LE, however, I don't see a minio in the config files. Could someone help me out with how to make a config file for it? I really don't have a clue how to write them or what it needs to say. Would appreciate some help with this. Thanks so much!

So I just re-assigned the drives from my flash backup tried again and it started right up! Thanks guys!

No. I have a previous backup of the flash. When I load that back on the flash. It works fine. The previous backed up version

I loaded a backup onto the flash and worked fine

All connected perfect. Worked fine during the update in the GUI

Guys, having issues and can’t upgrade! It seems that unraid is switching the ip to 169.254.249.255 instead of my internal network of 192.168.1.0/24 and I can’t access it. Had to attach my monitor. It also says cannot find device bond0 not sure why this is happening it’s never happened before.

damn it, just when I get everything running butter smooth haha. Looks like I'll have to upgrade tomorrow, in case something goes wrong it won't be the middle of the night. BTW, any reason why someone would install anything other than Catalina, which is the latest OS? I need something super stable as I will only be using this VM to run Arq Backup for my backups. Nothing else. Is one version more stable then others?

Definitely not previous apps, but I AM running 6.6.7. It's been working so smooth I don't want to upgrade, especially with the sql bug that was introduced, although I understand it was corrected in the final release. Is it not compatible with version 6.6.7?

Is it just me or is the docker not showing up any more in CA? I even enabled to search in github, and it still not showing up! Anyone?

GOT IT WORKING! Thanks so much spaceinvaderone! You are THE man! It was a different port that I need to open (part of the iptables commands) 1197 and not 1198. I did accidentally open the PIA port by copy and pasting your commands before realizing I needed different port. But I don't know how to close the PIA one that I opened. Do I need to worry about this? Or does it get closed on reboot sicne I saved the new iptables, after correcting it? @SpaceInvaderOne Also, I am still getting a DNS Leak when tested on the web site. and those last 2 lines of code to the conf file were already a part of the mullvad conf file. Should I be concerned about this? I don't know why it's still showing that my DNS is leaking *EDIT* BTW, in order to save this exact vm and setting, I can just use the CA backup plugin I've been using and just select a destination for libvert.img correct? This is amazing, thank you so much!

Struggled all day and just can’t get it to work with Mullvad vpn. seems like the mullvad vpn config files are missing one of the files that came with PIA OpenVPN set up. I just can’t get this to work now. @SpaceInvaderOne or any one else. Any advice on how to get this working?
