  1. it's worth noting that docker has released their source code to the LXC org, it's probably better to wait and see what happens. In theory docker and LXC will merge.
  2. had some issues with that 6.0 vmdk on a friend's server when updating it to 6.0.1, causes a kernel panic on boot after only replacing the bz* files. Plus it also has recycle bin and system volume information... So I created my own using gparted and dd/syslinux. I stripped out the make_bootable stuff and the config folder to make it nice and clean: unRAIDServer-6.0.1-x86_64.vmdk: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3MWcQtek6PXczhRdDUxTlhVREU/view?usp=sharing
  3. iotop doesn't work with rc4: root@vault13:~# iotop -bash: /usr/sbin/iotop: /usr/bin/python: bad interpreter: No such file or directory also, any chance of adding atop?
  4. Ah ha! Switched to needo and compiling 15.0 from source now, thanks man.

  6. You can update this without him just by make it re-install from the template. It will rebuild with the stable or whatever version you specify in the EDGE variable. redeploying from template did not work, what do i need to set the EDGE variable to? "15"?
  7. conveniently leaves the same day nzbget 15 is released enjoy!
  8. https://www.backblaze.com/blog/our-6tb-hard-drive-face-off-revisited/ unfortunately the seagate drives they're using don't seem to be available anywhere.
  9. just upgraded to 14b and this is the first plugin i've installed. many thanks.
  10. checked newegg canada after reading this and got two HGST NAS 4TB for $179.99 each on sale. Needed a new parity drive and, well, I could always use some more storage I'll sleep better after seeing the failure rates on the 3TB Reds.
  11. If you're using these tools, you're a nerd, dork, geek or otherwise... just embrace it my vote is to keep the name.
  12. Do you mind adding/linking the upgrade instructions to the first post?
  13. any reason why preclear_disk.sh -l would show an array disk?
  14. One annoyance I've found is that the time of the last parity check is not persistent after a reboot. Can this value be store on the flash instead to make it persistent?
  15. I haven't had any issues, but I have it pinned in chrome.
  16. Another issue: The image for a spun-down disk is called green-blink.gif but the code is trying to open green-blink0.gif. <img src="plugins/webGui/images/green-blink0.gif" class="icon gap">
  17. I think someone noted in the other thread that while the default temp setting is for C, it's reporting F. I had to switch to C, then to F then back to C to get it to display the correct temp.
  18. Has this been modified at all since you posted it on the forum?
  19. Flashed my M1015s with this no probs, just replaced the .bin files with the latest from LSI (P16).
  20. has anyone tried this trayless number from monoprice: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=113&cp_id=11307&cs_id=1130701&p_id=10061&seq=1&format=4#feedback
  21. Just flashed my LSI SAS3083 card to the latest IT firmware.
  22. Hello, I'm running a pre-clear right now. Its a new 2TB EARX, connected to a Supermicro AOC-SASLP-MV8 (also has 2 array drives connected to it), and I haven't seen the read speed pass 95MB/s. Is this a limit of the card? Should I be pre-clearing on mobo sata? Would I get better performance with a 3ware 9650SE-8LPML? Thanks,
  23. Most helpful. Thank you. I'm going to add the headers to the script output.
  24. Just built my first unRAID server!! It's been pre-clearing and I haven't even setup the array yet lol. i3 540, H57(PCIe2-16+4), 4GB, RC-590(back order):
  25. I dont suppose there's an explanation somewhere about what all the numbers mean?
