How much RAM do you have installed in your unRAID server?
32GB ECC DDR4. Can easily expand to 64GB when I need. Running with 40TB space. No VM's just yet, but going to get a GPU and start with a VM or 2

Since enabling HW decoding I keep getting this in my Plex Logs: libva info: VA-API version 1.0.0 libva info: va_getDriverName() returns 0 libva info: Trying to open /usr/lib/plexmediaserver/dri/i965_drv_video.so libva info: Found init function __vaDriverInit_1_0 libva info: va_openDriver() returns 0 Over and over again, every few mins. Is this normal?

Yup I did, and double checked it. Even stopped plex and restarted. So the GO file would look like: #!/bin/bash # Start the Management Utility /usr/local/sbin/emhttp & modprobe i915 chmod -R 777 /dev/dri I'll try privileged now.

Ok so followed that guide, but HW isnt showing up when checking the transcode of a live file Tried a few movies and none use (HW). I'm running the latest version: 1.9.x Any other ideas? Was I supposed to run those SSH commands somewhere specific?

Does anyone have a step by step guide to get Plex HW transcoder working? I have a bunch of 4k rips and when trying to transcode them to 720p for tablet viewing I get a few warning about Server being unable to transcode quick enough. I see CPU load in unRAID hovering around 40 to 55% mark. Plex transcode has HW option ticked, and Transcoder quality set to Prefer higher speed encoding, Background transcoding x264 preset set to Very fast. Is there a way to get HW encoding working on my Xeon E3-1245 v6? And is there a way that I can get the CPU to reach max to transcode quicker? Lastly, does using /tmp work anymore for ram transcoding?

Can you add a stop button? I started a big move, half way I changed my mind, and wanted some stuff to go to a different drive, but there is no stop button. And I didnt want to mess it up so I waited for the remaining 5 hours to finish before moving stuff again.

Err how do I uninstall it? (I edited the drivers.conf file and deleted everything). Also how can I find which sensors I should use? My mobo is Asus P10S WS. When I remove and click detect it keeps coming up with the same ones.
