[GUIDE] How To Control Fan Speed On Dell Server
is there a way to make the fan speed go up in increments of 10 until the cpu temp drops back down again? say cpu temp hits 50, it goes up to 30 from 20, it doesn't go back below 50 in that minute to it goes up another 10, it drops below 50 so it drops down 10, it stays below 50 for another minute so it drops down another 10?

[Plugin] Mover Tuning
Thankyou for the hard work, I have been using this for a while. Just wondering if this would be easy enough to do. Could you make an option to ignore hardlinks? Reason being is for seeding torrents. I would prefer those to stay on Pool until they are no longer seeding. This way I can keep only my 7 drive zfs pool spun up, and the array drives will only spin up if a file is actually being used. I'd like my pool drives to be powered down unless something is actually being read.

Plex not using hardware transcoding every time
This is happening to me right now, but when something transcodes, I see that plex is still using the gpu with the GPU Statistics plugin. Gpu in question is an rtx 4000 ada sff

[Support] StreamMaster
I am having the same issue. It slowly eats up all my ram then crashes the dock. 384Gb ram total. This sucks because this actually works really well in plex, emby and jellyfin until this happens. Does anyone have a solution or suggestion?

Mirrored share
Hello Could we get the option to mirror a share to the array, but read from the pool? This would be a good option for the appdata, for those of us who are risky and run raid0 for speed. Option to mirror the pool data or array when the mover runs. This way if the pool dies, app data is still complete on the array.

Strange error when network drops
I think I've figured it out. It had nothing to do with the hardware in it, but the smart power monitor that the ups was plugged into. Internet drops, faulty power monitor caused a power spike which made the netapp reboot. Seems to be what was happening anyway, could be wrong, but I caught the adaptor last night having a seizure and passing it onto the netapp... Removed it and everything went back to normal.

Threadfin - xteve fork
Hello I was wondering how we can get docks that aren't in the community plugins installed? Threadfin isn't in there but it is a much better version of xteve and is still in active development. It also allows to backup streams for channels just incase one goes down which I think is a really good feature plus actually buffers to ram instead of files. Any help would be appreciated.

Folder shows up in seperate disks, but not share?
For anyone that ends up getting this issue, I had found out I had a corrupt file system on one of my drives. I had to start the array in maintenance mode, go to the drive with the error and go to the Check Filesystem Status. Change the -n to -v or just delete it and let it run.

Folder shows up in seperate disks, but not share?
Ok, that job finished. Didn't fix it. Locations tab still shows that it knows where all the files are, but it still will not show them. Plex can still see the latest season and actually play them for some reason, Sonarr still can see everything, nothing has gone missing with a rescan, but the file managers can not. Plex can not see any season but the last. Said show has 21 seasons.

Folder shows up in seperate disks, but not share?
It is my media share. I've tried creating a test folder in it which shows no issue making but it still does not show. Very strange. No, I will try that now. Plex has decided it will see the latest season of the show now, but the rest still are not visable but nothing is visable in the file manager both on windows smb or within unraid

Folder shows up in seperate disks, but not share?
I have one specific folder of which its contents does not show from within the share. Funny thing is, Sonarr can see it all. Plex can not. Within unraid file manager, if in the share version, it will also not see it, but if I go into each individual drive which the share says it has contents on, I can see them. Any Ideas? illmethods-diagnostics-20230716-1503.zip

Strange error when network drops
Will do. It is only the second HBA which is affected by this, so I'm going to try getting an expander card and run it all from the one HBA. I'm just not sure about what cables I'll need now if I do this so it may take a while. I'm thinking of going with this one, https://www.ebay.com/itm/185002503624?fbclid=IwAR1R2aR-LnLarIdVB3ZVIAqZMm6atBtDm0AFRxPhUINZFFjc3TfPBsgOxK8 Then I'll need to know what cable I need to connect that to my NetApp.

Strange error when network drops
Ok, so I have disabled the onboard nic and installed a 4 port intel nic. I rebooted the router to see if it fixed it. This time, 2 of the drives showed read errors which is a lot better but it doesn't seem like it fixed the issue. All the drives on the second hba which is attached to the NetApp now show under historical devices (which means they were temporarily disconnected?), and all the temps for those drives are not readable. I've attached the diagnostics. Let me know what I should try next. Would that second hba possibly be the issue? I'm considering getting an expander card and running it all from the one hba. illmethods-diagnostics-20230630-1151.zip

[Support] Josh5 - Unmanic - Library Optimiser
What about now? Av1 is now easily done with handbrake, not sure about ffmpeg but I would assume so. It has also been not far off a couple years since you said this. I love your app but I'm currently waiting on something to have a decent Av1 encoder plugin, especially one that uses Intel quick sync. I have a A770 Intel Arc, so I'm wanting to take advantage of its Av1 hardware accelerated encoder. I know a lot of people out there want to take advantage of this, it would be a serious space saver for all of us.

Strange error when network drops
Just to be clear, this has happened on every version of unraid, not just the one it is on. Every version for around just over a year.

Strange error when network drops
Hello I'm trying to figure out why... When my network drops for any reason, all the drives that are on my NetApp start showing errors. A simple reboot will say that "array turned good Array has 0 disks with read errors" but this triggers a parity check. Which also comes back with zero errors. This happens any time, and I mean "any" time, that the network connection drops. Even just unplugging the ethernet cable will make it happen. Strange this is, that used to force it into a shutdown before a bios update. Motherboard is Z690 GAMING X DDR4 if that helps

Intel Arc support
Strange, it works now. It took a couple reboots though. So now in my apps, do I need to map to /dev/dri/card0 now instead of /dev/dri/? Changing to /dev/dri/renderD128 seems to work for the iGPU, /renderD129 doesn't seem to do anything to get the a770 to work. I guess there is still a bit more waiting to do.

Intel Arc support
Yes they're both enabled I had a 3060 installed but I swapped it out for this card I just double checked to be sure

I do have the drivers (I think), just not quite sure where I need to put them. dmesg | grep i915 [ 30.877393] i915 0000:00:02.0: vgaarb: deactivate vga console [ 30.877433] i915 0000:00:02.0: [drm] Using Transparent Hugepages [ 30.877996] i915 0000:00:02.0: vgaarb: changed VGA decodes: olddecodes=io+mem,decodes=none:owns=io+mem [ 30.878366] mei_hdcp 0000:00:16.0-b638ab7e-94e2-4ea2-a552-d1c54b627f04: bound 0000:00:02.0 (ops i915_hdcp_component_ops [i915]) [ 30.880444] i915 0000:00:02.0: [drm] Finished loading DMC firmware i915/adls_dmc_ver2_01.bin (v2.1) [ 30.897672] i915 0000:00:02.0: [drm] GuC firmware i915/tgl_guc_70.bin version 70.5.1 [ 30.897676] i915 0000:00:02.0: [drm] HuC firmware i915/tgl_huc.bin version 7.9.3 [ 30.910846] i915 0000:00:02.0: [drm] HuC authenticated [ 30.910855] i915 0000:00:02.0: [drm] GuC submission disabled [ 30.910861] i915 0000:00:02.0: [drm] GuC SLPC disabled [ 30.911678] mei_pxp 0000:00:16.0-fbf6fcf1-96cf-4e2e-a6a6-1bab8cbe36b1: bound 0000:00:02.0 (ops i915_pxp_tee_component_ops [i915]) [ 30.911766] i915 0000:00:02.0: [drm] Protected Xe Path (PXP) protected content support initialized [ 30.935475] [drm] Initialized i915 1.6.0 20201103 for 0000:00:02.0 on minor 0 [ 30.938966] i915 0000:03:00.0: Your graphics device 56a0 is not properly supported by the driver in this kernel version.
