I used Conduit-Docker and it worked well, except that no notifications come through while in standby on Android at fluffychat or shildi-chat lagacy. Has anyone here managed to receive notifications on Android while in standby mode? I marked my workauround as solution, even though I find it unsatisfactory and am surprised that no one else has this problem / uses the USB NIC.

Can you elaborate on that? Is my fix correct?

Hi, since 7.3.2 my USB RTL8157 runs for a short while and then crashes completely. I’ve noticed the following: with < 7.3.2 i reached only CPU-Package-C9, but now I reach C10. Is the driver package "RTL8152 Drivers" disabled ? Before I start debugging myself, I wanted to ask the experts first. Maybe this has something to do with: greetings syslog.txt

Also trotz ASPM L1 -> max. nur C3 - das ist ja 🤮 ich habe nur PCIe 3 -> demnach würde ich von 5GBit auf 7-8 kommen, also besser bei USB bleiben. Laut KI ist der Chip an sich x1 angebunden und die x4 Karten würden nichts daran ändern - ich weiß es nicht. PCIe 3 x4 wäre für mich wiederum interessant, wenn der Chip denn wirklich x4 angebunden ist. Hast du die Karte auch mal im anderen Slot probiert? Also CPU / Chipsatz -> beide nur C3 ?

I need to know if the Mellanox ConnectX-4 Lx (or another card) still allows at least C8. Otherwise, I would abandon the project entirely. Are there any experiences regarding the power consumption with a SFB+ fiber optic module? I would appreciate any feedback.

Es sind alle die gleichen: Ubuntu 24.04 LTS Server, netzwerktechnisch gleich konfiguriert (bis auf die IP und MAC) Im Unraid Protokoll taucht auf wenn ich sie hoch fahre: Dec 27 17:53:42 Unraid kernel: br0: port 3(vnet4) entered blocking state Dec 27 17:53:42 Unraid kernel: br0: port 3(vnet4) entered disabled state Dec 27 17:53:42 Unraid kernel: vnet4: entered allmulticast mode Dec 27 17:53:42 Unraid kernel: vnet4: entered promiscuous mode Dec 27 17:53:42 Unraid kernel: br0: port 3(vnet4) entered blocking state Dec 27 17:53:42 Unraid kernel: br0: port 3(vnet4) entered forwarding state da die anderen beiden VM ganz normal starten, kann ich mir keinen Reim darauf machen. die /etc/netplan/50-cloud-init.yaml ist unverändert vorhanden, die VM Einstellungen in Unraid wie zuvor, nichts verändert. [edit] lag an der Entfernung von Cloud-Init, was wiederum netplan entfernt hat. komischerweise ist die andere VM, wo ich Cloud-Init gelöscht habe ganz normal gestartet.

Das Thema ist zwar eigentlich erledigt, aber heute hatte ich den ThinkCentre noch mal in Windows 11 getestet, es ist eine alte 500GB 970Evo eingebaut mit 97% Restlebensdauer (also eher schlechter als die 2TB 970Evo mit 100%) -> konstantes Schreiben mit >400MB/s, ohne Einbrüche 🥸 ! Ich versteh´ es nicht 🧐 Nun habe ich ja eh mein neues NAS, aber trotzdem wurmt es mich. Einziger Unterschied: der ThinkCentre war frisch (kalt) gestartet, eventuell der Chipsatz noch kalt. Als NAS war es 24/7 an und entsprechend warm innen. Werde es noch mal probieren wenn er "warm" gefahren ist.

Sehr interessant, einfach Asrock anschreiben und eine Beta Version erbitten klappt nicht? Das hatte ich vor Jahren mal gemacht mit verschiedenen H110 Asrocks, da ging es dann von C3 auf C7.

Hier noch der Beweis 😊 schade dass ich den Treiber nicht beim Lenovo ThinkCentre ausprobiert hatte 🙃

Es gibt im Unraid App Store "RTL8152 Drivers", gestern zufällig entdeckt. Gerade installiert, die USB "Karte" wieder auf in den USB 10GBit umgesteckt, läuft noch schneller: 563MB/s. Bin gespannt ob der nun stabil bleibt. Was jedenfalls komisch ist: Package C10 ist mit dem Treiber weg, es wird nur noch Package C9 erreicht.
