For whatever reason this past month, when doing a simple shutdown or reset from the GUI, upon my server booting back up, ive been getting the dreaded "Unclean Shutdown" message. After doing a bit of reading, Ive adjusted the shutdown time up to 240 seconds on my disks. Im unsure if that was the actual reason for the unclean shutdown in the first place, and i really dont want to continue testing this by repeatedly running restarts as a test. Was hoping someone could take a look at my diagnostic log file, or point me to the file which would indicate the issue (assuming syslog maybe?) ... attaching a diag of the bootup which gave me the unclean shutdown... appreciate your time and help ktower-diagnostics-20260125-1026.zip

and if you have no update for user.scripts.enhanced? how to fix this issue? ... im not sure if maybe i had already updated and still the problem persists, or if i just dont have an update... but either way i dont have the option to update and so my user.scripts page is just completely blank? how to fix?

+1... purchased b580 for unraid server ... was hoping support would have been a bit further along being the card has been out for almost a year now... kinda already knew it wouldn't work great at the current point in time but got a really good black Friday deal on one and couldn't pass it up ...

ill give it a go... will report back... before i tried mounting the nvme1n1 with the other just in unassigned devices but kept getting device is unmountable... will brb

probably because it was initially a 2 drive pool .. I needed a slot temporarily for something else so I reduced the pool down to one drive.... then i received some new parts/upgrade, went to try and add drive back and did something wrong ... one sec

Not sure what I did but I need some guidance recovering/restoring cache pool drive to normal operation. Currently cannot mount cache pool drive. Happened while trying to add an additional nvme to the cache pool (from single drive to 2 drives). I stopped array and removed (a different) newly created pool to avoid any further issues. Seems the data is is till there when mounted in unassigned devices. The drive in question is highlighted in photoktower-diagnostics-20251024-1300.zip

got it... appreciate the response!! beta 6.0.0.23 has been working fairly well in my environment, just as an FYI... omada still has some work to do though with the adoption process... i first tried putting the controller on a different VLAN from the switch but adoption was buggy as a result.... i could get the adoption to work initially but within 48 hours the controller would no longer "find" the switch and become disconnected... just figured i would post in-case anyone runs into adoption issues... appreciate the work you have done providing this container, as its made it so much easier to host the omada controller...

i recently just started using the omada sdn controller on my unraid server and have a question about v6. When i pulled down your docker container and specify the "beta" tag, is it still necessary to upgrade the mongodb version manually, within the container, for everything to work properly? or is the mongodb (version 8 for example), already included by default within the beta version of the container? thanks

So I've made some progress.. not sure if anyone will follow this post but I'm sure in the future someone will experience the same or similar problem and come looking. After a few days of tinkering and experimenting I think I figured it out.. It wasnt the SR-IOV plugin that (directly) fixed the issue (although it did while I had it installed)... I ended up uninstalling the SR-IOV plugin and lost the ability to transcode yet again . While poking around over at the /dev/dri path (where card0 and renderD128 devices live), I noticed that the user:group was root:video. So I first attempted to add plex as a user of the video group but DUH there is no Plex user. The default is 'nobody'. So I added nobody to the video group and bam, no more transcoding issues. I have no idea why the default 'nobody' was not part of this group (maybe it never needed to be originally or something changed). Either way, that fixed the issue. Here's the command if anyone wants to give a try.... gpasswd -a nobody video For reference: I use 14600 , igpu=UHD770, unraid 7.1.3, hotio-plex

Going to quote myself because apparently after installing the "experimental" Intel i915 SR-IOV plugin , everything just seems to work now. Let me just say, I would suggest researching this plugin more before randomly installing like I did. It worked for me, but I've yet to see if/any weird side effects occur because of this. I have no idea why it worked but it did in my case. I'm going to go research this more now. May come back and update if I understand what the heck just happened. Cheers

I have the 14600 and I'm having a hella hard time figuring this out... The only thing I can get to report on the gpu_top dashboard is that one process is running but no usage is being indicated for the igpu.... I'm honestly lost. Wondering if anyone has figured out how transcode for 14600 Did you ever figure out this issue? I have 14600 but for whatever reason it just will not transcode with my igpu. Gpu top installed, gpu stats installed, added /dev/dri to Plex... /dev/dri path reports card0 and renderD128 (both of which I've tried pointing to directly to no avail) .. Cannot get this to work at all. Using hotio docker container for Plex. Sighhh

I sent you a PM because I have a couple questions in regards to bios. Have the same motherboard and some similar parts but only get c3. What microcode are you using? 0x104 or 12c? or something else... I am using a newer bios revision but not sure if that would make a difference or not. bios revisions is here
