  1. Disk29 is parity2, looks more like a power/connection problem, but can't see the SMART report, next time please post the diagnostics instead.
  2. Initially it's logged as a disk problem, but then the disk dropped offline so there's no SMART, reboot/power cycle the server to see if the disk comes back online and post new diags.
  3. No LSI HBA detected, make sure it's well seated or try a different PCIe slot if available.
  4. You can manually edit smart-one.cfg on the flahs drive to add the other devices.
  5. Unmenu was for older Unraid releases, it's not supported with v6.
  6. Note that this is also a valid option bur only if the emulated disk6 is mounting and contents look correct.
  7. You can do a new config and Unraid will accept the new devices names (assuming you now which disk is which), but could still have a problem if the previous RAID controller used non standard partitions, i.e., you'll get an "invalid partition layout" error.
  8. No, I mentioned doing a new config: Tools -> New Config, keep all assignments, check parity is already valid before array start, then run a correcting check.
  9. Drives might be formatted protected see below: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/93432-parity-disk-read-errors/?do=findComment&comment=864078 if that alone doesn't help see also here: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/110835-solved-help-with-a-sas-drive/?do=findComment&comment=1011689
  10. If you're using Windows 8 or later you can transfer the files using Windows explorer and user shares and the operation will be done locally, using Samba's server side copy.
  11. Using a root share will bypass the user shares and make Unraid ignore share settings.
  12. Most likely NIC or NIC driver related, Realtek driver support has never been great with Linux.
  13. Share settings look correct, is the data to tv share being transferred over the LAN directly to the share or locally from another share?
  14. No, that would be the correct setting, please post the diagnostics.
  15. Thank you @limetech, I missed it in the rc3 or rc4 release notes but this has finally been implemented, screenshot is from v6.10rc4:
  16. I never said that, just that with some hardware it's not that uncommon, but it's generally reliable, it can also happen with SATA devices, though in those cases it's usually power/connection related, NVMe devices have been reliable for me and most users, and I have multiple NVMe devices in multiple servers.
  17. Split level overrides allocation, check what level it is set for that share.
  18. Even after fixing with testdisk? Try rebooting if you didn't yet, if it still doesn't work you can try mounting manually while specifying the filesystem, if it still doesn't work file recovery util is the best bet.
  19. Depends on what exactly is wrong with the partition, Unraid requires a specific MBR signature, if the problem is there it will still mount with UD, you can them copy the data, if the partition itself is damaged you can try to fix it with testdisk, or use a file recovery util like UFS explorer to try and recover the data.
  20. That's a partition error, not filesystem, so fsck won't fix it. If parity is valid you can make Unraid rebuild that disk, and at that time the partition will be correctly recreated, to check you can unassign that disk and start the array, if the emulated disk mounts you can then rebuild on top.
  21. Assuming nothing was written to disk6 since it got disable I would do a new config to re-enable it, then run a correcting parity check.
  22. That's not Unraid, possibly some hardware issue like overtemp or a failed fan. Settings -> Date and Time: set correct timezone.
  23. That's correct the actual temp is 100-the attribute raw value, so 100-81=19, some devices have it like that.
  24. Looks about right, it will speed up once it finish reading the 4TB disks, disks are always much faster on the outer tracks and slow down as they go through the inner tracks.
