  1. You should run memtest, note that exiting errors can't be fixed, you'll need to reformat or replace all the corrupt files.
  2. Please post your diagnostics: Tools -> Diagnostics
  3. No problem, you only need the bios if you want to boot from a device connected to the HBA, if not needed not having one just speeds up the booting process.
  4. Looks OK to me. It will look like this: LSI Corporation SAS2 Flash Utility Version 16.00.00.00 (2013.03.01) Copyright (c) 2008-2013 LSI Corporation. All rights reserved Adapter Selected is a LSI SAS: SAS2008(B2) Num Ctlr FW Ver NVDATA x86-BIOS PCI Addr ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 0 SAS2008(B2) 20.00.07.00 14.01.00.08 No Image 00:02:00:00 Finished Processing Commands Successfully. Exiting SAS2Flash.
  5. Those are checksum errors and if you keep getting them after reformatting there's likely a hardware problem, like bad RAM.
  6. Got to that share'a SMB security settings and check that "Export" is set to "yes"
  7. Try updating the LSI firmware to latest, you're on p19, latest is p20.00.07
  8. Very strange, don't remember of anyone else with a similar issue, did it start happening after an OS update?
  9. LT hinted more than once that multiple pools are on the roadmap, but no idea if they are coming soon or not, for now you can use multiple pools (with some limitations) with the help of the UD plugin, more info here: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/46802-faq-for-unraid-v6/?do=findComment&comment=462135
  10. It is, but in simultaneous use it has the same max performance as the two Asmedia, ~200MB/s per drive, since they are limited by the PCIe 2.0 x1 slot. Connect the SSDs to the onboard controller for maximum performance, there won't be any difference for the remaining disks, so connect them as you like.
  11. No, conversion is online and no data is touched, and while it's a low risk operation a backup of anything important is always a good idea. For redundancy use the default raid1 profile, there's no redundancy with the single profile (except metadata), if one device fails all pool is lost.
  12. Default is raid1, though it can be changed, also be aware that if using two different size devices total space will be incorrectly reported in all but single profile.
  13. No, try typing instead of copy/paste, some times copy/paste from the forum adds extra characters.
  14. Yes, use unassigned devices to format the SSD using btrfs, when the copy is done make sure you start the array one time with no cache cache devices assigned, so Unraid "forgets" them, then stop the array and assign just that device, after that you can add the other one, but best to clear it first, you can use: blkdiscard /dev/sdX Replace X with correct letter.
  15. You need to copy to the array or an unassigned disk. Don't understand the question.
  16. You needed to move the data off the cache pool and format, if it's now unmountable see here and use it to try and recover the data.
  17. There aren't any new recommended 4 port controllers, the ones that exist all mostly Marvell, there's the old Adaptec 1430SA that still works well and can be found cheaply on ebay. The last controller uses port multipliers, also avoid for performance and other possible issues.
  18. Yes. Avoid Marvell based controllers with Unraid.
  19. Cache is trying to balance and failing since there's fs corruption, you need to backup data, re-format and restore data.
  20. Your log if spammed with wrong csrf_token errors, which makes very hard to read, close any stale browser windows and repost diags if/when it happens again.
  21. Grabbing and postings the diagnostics after if goes read only might help
  22. Well, this doesn't work, posts are also marked read when browsing without actually reading them, at least they do on the Bug Reports suf-forum, haven't noticed this yet on the main forums, so hopefully it's limited to that one.
