  4. What did you edit the go file with? I use Notepad++ in windows... Windows built-in Notepad doesn't work.
  5. I didn't change anything in the bios... I came across this thread, and seeing I had the same board, thought I'd check it out... I always use IPMI & had never tried the WOL.

  8. I have the same board in mine & I've got it working from shutdown... haven't tried from sleep. Try ethtool -s eth0 wol g I added it to my go script also... I'm sure there's a better place to add it... but that's beyond me
  9. Did you include the new drive in Settings-> Share Settings?
  10. I have 8 of them in my production server... never had a problem with any of them (knocks on wood) They're quiet & FAST!! YMMV

  14. I just added a new disk and reboot and it seems non array disk do actually show. So it is either the fact my first attempt was via USB or that emHTTP is not updating. Possibly both. I just added 3 drives by stopping the array, added the drives, & restarted the array. No reboot necessary...

  18. I received mine on 6/25/2013.... Are you sure yours is the PRO? From what I could find: the HGST Touro Desk 4TB USB 3.0 Black External Hard Drive contains the 5K4000 the HGST Touro Desk Pro 4TB USB 3.0 Black External Hard Drive contains the 7K4000
  19. The one I got from New Egg a couple weeks ago contained the Hitachi 7K4000 (HDS724040ALE640). 5 platter 64 meg cache 7200 rpm
