I even upgraded my server with new mobo/cpu/ram Did clean installes of emby on my omsc device too Edit: issue fixed, was a network issue with same ip unraid-syslog-20231118-1643.zip embyserver (1).txt kodilog.txt

Ok i tried parity swap Followed this video When i enter the 8tb instead of the old parity 6tb And i change the 2tb defect disk 1 to the old parity 6tb, the disks dont show blue and i cant copy the parity information to the new parity... What now? i can say for disk 1 to "no device" and keep the parity the old 6tb drive and then i can : Start will disable the missing disk and then bring the array on-line. Install a replacement disk as soon as possible. Should i click that? Do know that the 8tb disk, isnt new either , its an old free nas drive

I might upgrade my other hardware as well. I'm gonna buy a new mobo, cpu and ram. Can i just swap after or before my disks swap? Or is it linked to my unraid license?

What would happen if i swap the parity with a 8tb first, and then swap disk one with the old parity?

Oh crap, so i cant buy a 8tb disk... Cause i first need to swap disk 1, and then i cant use that same disk to swap the parity? So i'm obligated to buy a 6tb disk? No way i can buy 8 tb now?

Momenteel heb ik 1 parity (6tb) en 7 disks (1x 6tb, 4x2tb (waarvan 1 nu kapot) en 2x3tb) + cache 480 GB Moederbord is een asus M4A78LT-M (6x sata) CPU is een AMD Athlon™ II X2 240e @ 2800 MHz RAM is maar 4gb Ik heb ook een expansion card waardoor de server helaas nooit in sleep kan: AOC-SASLP expansion card Probleem sleep: Server wordt vooral voor media gebruikt. Ik overseeg ook owncloud op te zetten... Nieuwe zou zeker 5 disks aan moeten kunnen. Max 1 disk van 6/8 tb aankopen, rest van disks wacht ik zoiezo Absolute pluspunt is dat de server ook 4k transcoding aankan Absolute must is energiezuinig ! Benieuwd

If its dead and has to be replaced. What should i do? I have a one parity disk + 7 data disk array The parity is 6 tb One disk out of the 7 is 6 tb, rest is all 2tb and 3 tb Disk 1 , the oldest, which is apparently dead now? , is 2 tb Should i just replace it by a 6 tb Or should i replace the parity into 8 tb, and then use the old 6 tb parity to replace disk 1 ?

After years of happy use, i now have issues. It seems my server suddenly becomes unreachable, then without doing anything back reachble and this in loop Addons showing bad behaviour: Sabnzb web ui is reachable then after i dunno 5 minutes it says connection is broken Emby server -> when using client, it suddenly says the server (on unraid) isnt reachable and web socket connections are lost, i dunno why, then it just restores I added log I hope you guys can help unraid-syslog-20231021-1305.zip

Hi I'm trying to set up my own rtmp server on unraid so i can share video from my dji drone I installed the rtmp server addon https://hub.docker.com/r/alqutami/rtmp-hls It is running and showing 0 connected clients/streams From the dji app , i have to fill in the url rtmp//ipadres:1935/live where ip is the ip from my unraid machine ? Right? Now on the phone im connected to the same wifi... but the and the webui from the rtmp server, is not connected What am i doing wrong?

Nevermind, fixed it by deleting app and reinstalling, couldnt reconnect with different server once connected Fixed

I'm having problems. I changed my ipadress of my server running unraid api Now i restarted the api and i want to change the ipadress and try to log in but nothing happens i enter the ipadress , root login and pasword but i dont get anything no error, but no progress either any ideas?

ok i removed the plugin, curious if it will happen again. As you said unraid doesnt include it standard.. So if anything goes wrong now, its not the sleep. The addon said it would wait till the array is spinned down... Now the cache was still active cause it was downloading. Does the array include the cache or not? Otherwise i dont understand

My unraid machine goes to sleep unwilling after x time. This has been since os update i think. Not sure. However i cant wake it up using wol cause of an expansion card i use. Can i find out why it goes to sleep and disable it?

Hi I"ve been using unraid for a lot of years. However ive come to the point my usb flash drive is broken (still works but i dont wanna wait until it dies). I got a full unraid license I backed up my flash drive and wrote it using the unraid tool to a new usb stick. I booted from the new usb stick , all works but now i cant start my array cause it says : The registered GUID does not match the USB Flash boot device GUID The Registration key file does not correspond to the USB Flash boot device. Please copy the correct key file to the config directory on your USB Flash boot device. If you do not have a backup copy of your key file, Contact Support. If you want to replace your Registration key with a new key bound to this USB Flash device, click Replace Key below. An original key may be replaced anytime. Thereafter, a replacement key may be replaced again after one year has passed. If you require another replacement key sooner, Contact Support. Note: Replacing a Registration key results in permanently blacklisting the previous USB Flash GUID. So what do i do now, get the old key from the old usb stick? and copy it to the config folder? Or replace key? I thought if i took a backup and put it to new flash drive, the registration key was copied and unraid nows i want to transfer and i dont need to replace it?

Hi I have 2 machines, 1 running home assistant on a rasp pi with emby server on it. 1 running unraid with my media on it. I'm having problems with my emby. How do i know if emby server will have acces to my media on the unraid server? I have added the folders, but i dont get anything. i know i could just run emby on unraid (but i'm moving away from it). Normally when i acces my unraid, i have to login with password, but the emby server on my pi didnt ...
