  1. So for now just dont use the plugin? And is there anything else i can do or try to make it work? When you had me manually download the plugin it didn't save it to unraid after i rebooted the system the plugin wasn't there like it never installed.
  2. Should i be restarting the server every time i do a command?
  3. this is the only thing i saw it do. Linux 4.14.13-unRAID. Last login: Sun Jan 21 11:05:28 -0800 2018 on /dev/pts/0. root@Tower:~# /boot/test.php parity sdg disk1 sdn disk2 sdq disk3 sdf
  4. After running the command the system crashes so i can't do a diagnostic so i had the log window open and copied it here it is.
  5. After doing the commands i get this. root@Tower:~# /sbin/hdparm -N /dev/sdc /dev/sdc: max sectors = 1953525168/1953525168, HPA is disabled root@Tower:~# /sbin/hdparm -N /dev/sdb /dev/sdb: max sectors = 1953525168/1953525168, HPA is disabled
  6. Here they're. tower-diagnostics-20180121-0815.zip syslog.txt
  7. Ok i'm trying to do that right now but as soon as i install the plugin or start it nothing works. It wont allow me to do a diagnostic download i did capture another screenshot gonna try some more in maintenance mode.
  8. Is anyone having trouble with the plugin being stuck on the Scanning screen. I recently noticed this after updating to 6.4.0 and ran into this issue after running the plugin it never finished scanning and made my server unresponsive. If i tried to stop it or reboot or shutdown it would just hang. I had to hard reset it. I installed a new clean version of Unraid on a new flash drive and ran into the same issue after over a hour still stuck on the scanning screen. And once again after attempting to stop uraid or reboot it just hangs. Doesn't stop it and becomes unresponsive. This is a screenshot of my motherboard ipmi that i don't quite understand when i run the plugin. Any help would be appreciated.
  9. Well i feel silly it worked didn't realize my kid unplugged the cable. Thanks!
  10. Ok thank you will give it a shot when I get home.
  11. So how should the command line look like? --cpuset-cpus=4,24,5,25,6,26--device=/dev/sr0 i did that but got command failed.
  12. How can i go about getting the USB 3.0 BD-Drive detected mine shows as no drive available. I plugged it and i can hear it spinning the movie but i can't seem to find a way for unraid or MAKeMkv to detect it. Is there a option i have to run on or something? Thanks.
  13. I'm having this same issue it wont accept my values after running the command it says try new values because it cannot encode them accurately. Not sure what else to do i have Noctua fans. What values ended up working for you?
  14. I just got my case and @ubergeek the psu aren't too loud i ordered 5 80mm noctua to see what temps and sound is like. Hoping its good if not i might look at the stock quieter fans. I keep hearing good things about super quiet psu from them and would be interested in seeing a video or hearing them before dropping all that money. I need at the very minimum between 900-1000 Watts as i plan to run vms with a gtx 1080 or 1070 to stick in the 900 watt range. @btrcp2000 are you selling both or just one i might be interested in picking them up. Thanks once again for all the input.
  15. @Lev yeah will take pictures for sure. I wouldn't mind putting it in my garage so I wouldn't hear it. But only issue is that my garage gets pretty hot. I guess I could test it out and see temps before mod. But that's my only concern temps and it's why I'm iffy about putting in my garage.
  16. Yeah not yours I think it has 2 lvl or how do the 36 drives fit in? I'm looking at 24 I found one manufacturer but its only in the uk. X case 424 pro.
  17. This is the video I'm taking about I would personally use noctua like I'm doing right now. Theyre super efficient and quiet. Supermicro modded
  18. Yeah I have low temp on my drives. I know they're very loud. The pictures I have seen they completely take out the fan and case on it. They use I belive 3 120 or 140 and they zip tie them right behind the sas plane. And the back ones are easier to replace.
  19. I love my Norco but honestly the build quality is not as good. I recently acquired a nice server rack with caters and had read that noro rails wouldn't fit. I gave it the benefit of the doubt since I read it worked for some. Twice the rail release broke. Norco was nice eough to swap out the first rail thinking it was defective. Sadly the second time it was worst as it got stuck and trying to pull it out it broke one of the handles along with the USB ports. Waiting on Norcos response with this issue. But overall I have read that supermicro don't have this issue. That's my main reason and I have seen supermicro being swapped out with single psu and noctua fans. Just haven't seen enough of them done.
  20. So i'm currently thinking of upgrading from my norco to this Supermicro case. Supermicro 4u my question is would i have any issues removing the redundant psu and putting in a single rail one i currently have a Seasonic 1050 that i would like to put in the supermicro and possibly remove the loud fans to install some noctuas. Reason for this is i have my server in my office and have grown accustomed to how quiet my norco is with the noctua fans all around as it runs quiet and cool. I have read on older post where people have managed to put a regular PSU and noctua fans in place of the stock ones. Not sure if anyone else has done it and if it would be safe to do so. My current setup is x2 Xeon 2690 V2 ,X9DR3-F-B, 128GB Samsung ecc ram, LSI00244 9201-16i , Seasonic X-1050, and planning on adding a gtx 1080 down the line. I have mainly WD Red drives and so far i have had no issues with cooling or temp. Any advice would be appreciated thanks.
