Your budget is a little different than mine . I would use a nvidia graphics card for transcoding in plex with the nvidia build. I don't think AMD is supported in docker. Assuming your going to use Docker for above apps.

I don,t think I would recommend usb hard drives. But if you have a PCI slot you could add a sata controller card, up to 4 sata ports. Would recommend a SSD for cache to run Docker. MiniDLNA or Jellyfin would be my first choice. Plex or one of the many other media servers. I don't use transcoding. only native streaming locally.

Optional would be ok. I don`t use it.

Some of them are probably blips in are power if that is the fault you are going to get. I will check power cables. The Eth0 fault could be. VM mac addressing crashes my switch. Need better switch.( vlan support )

Is there a line/command I can add to my Go File to stop USB suspend? I think it maybe causing a reoccurring fault with lose of communication to UPS. Unraid 6.5.3

I am setting up a vm of SteamOS on br1 eth1 is bridge to br1 Tried to connect steam link to eth1 ip no go . vm and eth1 not on same sub net. Can i do direct io to eth1 ? Does it have to be a single nic card? Can I use one nic port on a 4 port card? Any help would be appreciated. Ease of use. Community apps are templated and have permissions set to work out of the box. I have used Dockers from out side of the Community apps with varying success. You can search for them from the Community app store.

How did you make out with this? I agree with the other posters. If you are on 6.3 I would definitely Backup your config. Reformat thumb drive to latest version of unRAID. I had a lot of memory problems that all went away with 6.4.
