If you look at your motherboard specs it is USB2 and NOT USB3 that is why your old flash drive worked, it is probably a usb2 stick. again your motherboard DOES NOT support USB3

If you have indexing enabled, that will take up a HUGE amount of space as it makes "snapshots" of the video that show ( on certain devices ) when you FF or RW the video.

the path should be /mnt/cache/appdata/docker/docker.img instead of /mnt/user/appdata/docker/docker.img

The only thing i can think of is OpenVPN is possibly changing the local ip address of the server. I know on my iMac, when i connect to a VPN it changes my LAN IP from 10.0.0.2 to something like 10.9.0.62 so i am wondering if it is doing the same for the server. if your comfortable using terminal commands, i would do the following to test in putty ( or whatever you use to connect to the unraid server ) type the following ifconfig paste the output here, then start up OpenVPN and do ifconfig again and paste that output here also so we can compare the servers LAN IP Scott

are you using OpenVPN plugin or docker?

As far as i know there is no GUI for plexconnect. I know they were working on something, but I do not believe it is available in plexconnect. I think what your seeing in the docker page is just the default button from the template xml file. I use plexconnect docker and have no problems at all, so it must be something with the addition of the VPN.

I am running the latest plex pass & plexconnect and do not have any problems with viewing any of the sections via my ATV3. For the OpenVPN issue, i believe i have seen something similiar to this on the plex forums

Do the drives show up on the test system you used to pre-clear them?

there is something broke in the docker update check at the moment, it is not actually connecting to docker hub and checking build id's you click on check for updates and it just refreshes the page intsead of actually checking for updates

Hmmm...Interesting. I completed this on the Kodi headless docker and it definitely pulled a new image. So I'd assume if there wasn't an update it would have skipped this step. So I surmise that I am in fact not crazy, and something is wrong with the check for updates on the docker page. Your not crazy, I just checked mine and it did the same thing, click check for updates and it instantly comes back as up to date

The display is not working, anything you had to auto-mount is still working ( i just checked mine and my auto-mounts are fine ), you just cant see anything if you have to manually mount something

I would also update to a stable version, If you do not want to go to v6 I would update to 5.0.6. There may be stability issues in the RC that have already been resolved in the stable release.

Also make sure you config directory on the cache drive is set to cache only so mover does not try to move it to the array

Just set your share to cache only and mover will not touch any files in that share

If your only doing NAS and a few Dockers, 4GB of ram is plenty. If you want to start running a windows VM for gaming you will want to boost your ram up to 16 or more depending on what your going to be doing

i always get " password is incorrect " when i try to change it. Let me reinstall the docker and grab the logs Edit: Nevermind no idea what happened but on reinstall i have no problem changing the password

How do you change the admin password for your McMyAdmin docker? you have to set it from the run command with the -setpass variable. Changing it from inside admin does not work

Personally i use docker for the isolation it provides from unraid core os. with docker you dont have to worry about conflicting packages and all that stuff as it is not installing anything on the main OS

I believe there is a page in unraid setting now with some configuration option for plex ( dont quote me on that as i use docker ) the web url would be http://tower:32400/web/index.html

the file you download from plex.tv is a package NOT a plugin. you download the package and put it on your flash drive in the extra folder and reboot or do installpkg from command line. if your wanting to do the plugin, install PhAze plex plugin from here http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=33341.0 or get the docker from here http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=40654.0

also are you using a cache drive for your plex docker? could be plex docker holding a drive open writing to log files or something

This has to be something specific to your hardware and not a bug. If this happened with every unraid server when rebooting i am sure there would be ALOT more posts about it. what exactly do you have running for dockers/VMs/Plugins? from the sounds of it you have a plugin or docker that is holding a share open. I can reproduce this by SSH into the server and doing something like cd /mnt/user/movies and leave the terminal there and try to reboot unraid, it will just sit there trying to unmount shares until i go back to the SSH terminal and get off /mnt/user as soon as i type in cd or cd /boot, it will stop the array without issue.

Or delete it from the deluge interface are you uusing a separate account to authenticate with unraid or just using the standard authentication method (nobody account)?, also how are you trying to delete the files, using a windows machine and navigating to the share? I'm not sure what you mean separate account to authenticate. When I try to delete the downloaded torrent files i'm just navigating from a windows machine using the network browser to this directory. \\TOWER\cache\appdata\delugevpn\downloads\complete I try to delete the files I downloaded but it says I need permission from unix user/nobody to make changes to the files. Delete from the deluge interface, or disconnect the share from windows and reconnect using "guest" and not an account
