  1. Hello, Is it possible to run AirvideoHD on Unraid and give it access to another NAS sitting on the same network? The other NAS is a Netgear Readynas. A UNC access to the right folder maybe?
  2. Hello, I run Sabnzbd from PhazE plugins. Don't ask me why, I guess I am just too lazy to install it a Docker app. The thing is today it got upgraded to version 2.0.0 and and it says there is no 7zip installed, although I have it with the Nerdtools plugin, and also something about Sabyenc not being installed. Will the PhazE plugin install them for me? Do I have to do it? I don't have a clue how to... If I switch to the Docker Sabnzbd app, will it settle all these things for me?
  3. So what's the proper way to fix it if I'm seeing: Warning: parse_ini_file(state/network.ini): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/template.php on line 43 Warning: extract() expects parameter 1 to be array, boolean given in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/template.php on line 43 Delete config/plugins/dynamix.plg on the flashdrive then reboot the server powerdown -r Worked like a charm
  4. Hello, Obviously setting my Unraid server 6.1.9 to automatic updates was not a good idea. Today there were several updates I think, according to the load of green alert banners that appeared when I logged in, but then the pages were all empty. The only thing that shows up is this message: - Warning: parse_ini_file(state/network.ini): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/template.php on line 43 Warning: extract() expects parameter 1 to be array, boolean given in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/template.php on line 43 And the top menu bar. What should I do? The server and the applications (plugins and dockers) are all working fine by the way. Thanks
  5. Thanks for the valuable info.
  6. Interesting. Why? Could you elaborate?
  7. Hello, I have 9 HDDs in my NAS, some of them are connected at 3 Gbps speed and some at 6 Gbps even though they all support SATA 3 speeds. Some of them have some kind of warning saying they are successive to have a firmware update available. How can I proceed to align all of them at the highest speed possible? Is it possible to upgrade their firmware within Unraid without having to dismantle them? Thanks
  8. So...what does it say? novanas2-smart-20160308-0017.zip
  9. Interesting theory. These are very old HDDs though so it is not impossible they are a bit tired. What should I check in the SMART report?
  10. No it's not dead, just has some 45000 errors [emoji3]
  11. Hello, I have 8 HDDs, Disk 5 needing replacement. They are not installed in hot swap trays I don't want to risk dismantling the whole thing. How do I know to which SATA port, and maybe even controller (motherboard or SATA daughter board) Disk 5 is connected to? I will then follow the cable. Thanks
  12. Hello, I have a SATA 3.1 SSD for my cache drive but somewhat on the properties it says it is limited to 3Gb/s. Can this be optimized to fully use the SATA 3.1 speed or at least SATA 3? Thanks
  13. I think you've got the wrong idea. Unraid is a headless system ie no monitor (in general) So in order to use kodi and whatever repositories that you want to install then all that has to be installed on the client device ie the machine you're actually going to watch the content on. The kodi headless docker is, well headless, and it's primary function is to keep a library shared between multiple clients updated with a MariaDB/MySQL database. The other point I should probably make is that discussion of torrent streaming may not be allowed on here (or on the kodi forums) if it is of copyrighted material. But in summary. Decide what device your kids will be accessing kodi on and install kodi on that device not Unraid, now we know what you want to achieve, I don't think kodi on Unraid is the right approach for you. Kodi/XBMC isn't really a Server/Client setup like Plex or Emby, think of each Kodi installation and add-ons/repositories as separate installations (Which can share a central database of locally stored media with a little work.) Hope that helps clear stuff up. My laziness led me to a complete misunderstanding of Kodi's architecture. I just didn't bother to read. You made it very clear now. Definitely not what I need. Thank you. P.S Do you have any idea if what I actually need exists? When I installed Plex I could access the pre-installed channels pretty easily using DLNA on the TV. Pretty handy for children. I just need something more versatile, where I can use other kind of channels...
  14. I am aiming for repositories specifically designed for kodi and nearly impossible to find otherwise. Is XBMC/XBMC the right user and and password to admin kodi?
  15. Hello, I am giving a try to Kodi-Headless. First thing is I couldn't log in. Didn't know what user or password to use. Finally I tried xbmc/xbmc and I got in, but the interface is pretty empty and I couldn't find any settings or parameters section. Just to be clear, I don't know Kodi. My only goal is to connect it to some repository that streams children shows from torrent and other sources on the internet. Can someone put me on the right track Please?

  17. I just don't want to mess with my smoothly running server. Dockers with all its ports redirecting and permissions is giving me a headache. I am running 3 PhAzE plugins already and all is great.
  18. just why Why Kodi? or why no Dockers? why a plugin ? Well, in that case your question implies that I do not totally understand what is Kodi, which is possible actually. I wish to run some server on Unraid that would serve contents available from the internet, in the format of streaming, and the target would be Upnp device. Isn't that what Kodi is about, or at least some of its features?
  19. just why Why Kodi? or why no Dockers?
  20. Hello, Is there a Kodi plugin available for 6.1.x that does not require dockers? Thanks
  21. Hello, I have been using Sickbeard_alt to get Sickrage for some time now. I just noticed that now you have a Sickrage plugin. Should I move from Sickbeard_alt to Sickrage plugin? Or can I just leave it as everything works fine?
  22. Will do, and thank you for your efforts
  23. Something is unstable with the Sickrage plugin. Yesterday, after all the problems I encountered lately (see other posts) I had it running again after a complete reinstall and suddenly, after I pressed on the Upgrade now banner within Sickrage, it restarted having completely lost all my data, refusing to restore from backup, and messing all the interface, visually. Therefore, after yet another reinstall, I also disabled all the upgrade/update functionalities within Sickrage. As I read the previous posts I also understand that I should refrain from upgrading to 6.1.0 as Limeware have officially started to roll it out through their Dynamix interface. And until a new plugin is released.
