  1. Hello, I had 2 out of 9 HDDs with errors, so I decided to replace them, one at a time of course. First I ran a parity check that ended with no errors. Then I replaced one of the faulty HDDs. I went through the usual interface that popped up about a missing disk and I assigned the replacement disk for that position and them started the array. It started to rebuilt the array but after 2 hours I went to check if everything was fine only to find out that it was stuck at 25%. The error counter kept rising on the parity disk and I couldn’t use any of my files on the NAS. I could browse the files though, but not access them. I gave it a chance for one more hour but since only the error counter kept rising I decided to Cancl the parity check and reboot. None of the commands responded through the interface. So I decided to power off manually and reboot. It started again rebuilding the Parity from 0, and no access to the files. For the moment it is progressing and I hope it will until the end but I would appreciate your insight. Thanks
  2. Hello, What does that mean? Can this plugin load the SNMP protocol? If so then can it load the APC mib? Only then can my Readynas connect with my Unraid and therefore my UPS. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
  3. Hello, Can this plugin issue SNMP alerts for a locally connected UPS? I have a Readynas Pro that can receive SNMP alerts about UPS.
  4. Hello, I would like my Unraid to be a server for my UPS and my Readynas to be able to get SNMP triggers from Unraid. Can somebody tell me if it is possible and how? I attached a screenshot of the Readynas sole configuration available for remote UPS.
  5. Now I lost you but that is definitely a lead. so I will investigate that. Thank you Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
  6. Of course, but how does that help? The UPS has only one USB port, so either Unraid gets it or Readynas gets it. After I checked it is easier to get access to a remote UPS from Readynas because this whole feature is built into Readynas GUI. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
  7. Hello, My Unraid is connected to an APC UPS via USB. I have another NAS, a Netgear Readynas Pro, and it can get remote UPS triggers via SNMP. That means that Unraid should run the SNMP protocol and make the UPS available through it. My Readynas already has the APC mib built in to address the UPS. Any idea how I can load SNMP on Unraid and configure it if needed?
  8. unRaid. Share setting. Prefer means that if I he cache drive is full it will write to the array instead. YMMV as it depends though if unRaid knows the size of the file being unpacked in advance I have no idea what you mean. I run 6.5.1 RC4 and there is no prefer setting under shares.
  9. What do you mean? Where is this setting? Sabnzbd or Unraid?
  10. Hello, Every now and then when I download a very big discussion such as a UHD movie (60+Gb) the unraring fails. It seems that the downloaded files, sitting on the Cache drive, are unrared also on the Cache drive or something like that. And then the Cache drive is not big enough and the procedure fails. If I try later on, I guess when some or all of the files are commited to the NAS the the same unrar succeeds. Is there a way to configure Unraid and/or Sabnzbd as to unsure this does not happen anymore?
  11. Hello, How do I move Sickrage from a plugin to a docker app WITHOUT losing anything? Not my configuration nor my shows' list?
  12. Hello, I have just installed Deluge as a docker app. I would like to seed whole directories. Is that even possible? Or do I need to do it file by file which is out of the question? If I seed files how is my anonymity impacted if I am not using a VPN? I tried to seed one single file of 1.5Gb but as soon as it started "scanning" it my Unraid started to act clogged, the cache disk was overwhelmed and eventually Deluge crashed or at least became unresponsive so I reset it. I don't even know if I am doing it right. I never seeded files before apart from freshly downloaded torrents, an then I was using Transmission. Thank for any help
  13. As simple as that? Size of the HDDs and the Parity HDD has no importance? Because on my NAS they differ a lot. Ok thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  14. Hello, How many simultaneous HDDs failure can the Parity/Reconstruction handle? Is there a formula? One Hdd? Two HDDs? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  15. Hello, Lately my server seems to be rebooting on its own, therefore inducing an almost daily parity check and a lot of burden. I can't think of any reason why does this happen. Can somebody here check my logs maybe? novanas2-diagnostics-20170927-0916.zip
  16. The uptime is actually concerning! Weird. I got a UPS. And the NAS next to the Unraid has been up for 68 days. novanas2-diagnostics-20170927-0916.zip
  17. Hello, Lately my Unraid is starting a Parity check almost daily. That's a lot of burden on my machine. Before that it was running only upon request, never automatically. What happened? Any change because of the latest updates or is it a problem I have?
  18. Mmmmm, if I can access, read and write to that NFS share through Unraid on my Windows 10 PC then my guess is that the share and the permissions are fine on the other NAS, right? And the path on the template is set to RW:Slave. What else can it be?
  19. Forget about my previous post. Eventually the content of the NFS share appeared. My guess is the size of it was so big it took a long time to show up. So I can see the content through the Unassigned Disks and I mapped it into AirVideo to /videos. But when I open my IOS app it says Could not load folder content, sorry Access to file denied: /videos What now?
  20. Thank you for your help. This is as far as I got: - I got the Unassigned Disks mapped to an NFS share on my other NAS - I mapped it in AirVideo and could access the Videos folder I mapped. - There is no content in the Videos folder. - But there is also no content to be seen under this same mapping in the Unassigned Disks NFS section. - This even though I could mount the mapping and I could see under Unassigned Disks the Used and Free space of the actual NFS share. BTW I cannot Unmount that NFS share from Unraid. Somehow the log says it is being in use. Couldn't find what was possibly using the share already, and without any content visible.... What could be the reason that I successfully mapped an NFS share, could see the utilization of that share, but no content? I guess that when I resolve that issue, that content will also appear under Air Video, right?
  21. Ok, then thank you. Could you elaborate just a bit? My guess is I should look for the Unraid Dockers FAQ, right? What should I look into there? I suppose that you refer to the "Add another Path, Port or Variable" parameter in the docker's setting. Which one is suitable for my need? Path? Port? Variable? Device? None actually allows me to browse my network, or write the IP of my other NAS. Is that what I should look for in the FAQ?
  22. Hello, I want to control where Sabnzbd downloads and stores files but I think that I lack some understanding whereas how the Dockers function. Where do I set the download folder, nzb watch folder, etc....? In the Sabnzbd docker's setting (whe I click on the docker)? In the Sabnzbd application settings under folders? No matter how I do it it ends up using folders under <ip>\appdata\sabnzbd\... I want to use \mnt\MEDIA\<folder> How can I do that?
