Oh, these are IBM cards, please read the cross flashing guide on how to flash them with the stock Mellanox firmware and also research what firmware do you need for those cards. A quick google search for the PSID number should do the trick. I also recommend removing the BIOS from the cards after flashing them to speed up boot times.

Yes, GVT-g can also work in Linux VMs but I've never done it, there is some documentation on the official GVT-g Github from Intel.

Machen sie doch aber spin down ist ein heikles thema da es so viele variablen gibt und meistens gibt es einen auslöser der nicht unraid bezogen ist... Ich kenne die leute die hinter unraid stehen und die lesen wirklich jeden bug eintrag. Sorry aber das mit bezahlsoftware und die müssen antworten ist für mich kein argument, beispiel microsoft. 🤣 Das problem fängt bei Docker an, geht über Plugins, bis hin zu Custom Scripten und dann schlussendlich zu VMs... Also wenn du das logging in unraid nicht gut findest kann ich nicht helfen. Könntes aber auch mal die logs von deinen ganzen Dockern und VMs durchsehen ob dort was die platten aufweckt. Versteh mich jetzt nicht falsch aber mit den vielen variablen wie will der hersteller was feststellen und das problem haben verhältnismäßig wenige, aich nicht falsch verstehen bitte, aber sieh es mal in relation, nur meine meinung.

Das Problem ist das keiner oder wenige die sachen ausprobiert die den usern geraten werden bzw. winfach die bereitwilligkeit fehlt. Safe boot über nacht alle container abschalten usw... Hab schon ein paar probleme lösen können von englischsprachigen usern bei dem einen war es Nextcloud beim anderen Jellyfin und bei noch einem auch Jellyfin. Du musst auch die entwickler verstehen, man kann auf seinem server so viel installieren und ein container, speziell emby, jellyfin usw. wecken die platten in regelmäßugen abständen auf standardmäsig nur weiß das fast keiner. Warst du schon im safe mode mit allem abgeschaltet? Das kann aber auch ein container usw gewesen sein, vl war es auch gvt-g oder eine vm die hängen geblieben ist. Siehst du auf was ich damit raus will, es ist einfach schwierig da niemand wissen kann was du alles installiert hast, wie sich deine vms, plugins usw verhalten... Es kann auch mal eine vm unraid zum absturz bringen, wäre nicht das erste mal. Ich schließe mich hier @alturismo's kommentar an... EDIT: eins das ich ncoh vergessen hab, wenn dir die RC nicht passt kannst du doch immer wieder downgraden, das ist das schöne an unRAID, geht mit anderen system nicht zumindest nicht so einfach.

Ich hab noch nie mit der Verschlüsselung rumgespielt aber macht das einen Unterschied wenn die disks entsperrt sind? Was hat nicht funktioniert? Bist du dir sicher das du HW transcoding auch im Container aktiviert hast und deinen Plex Claim neu erstellt hast? Hast du auch sicher keine einstellung im template vergessen? Bitte öffne mal ein Container Terminal und dann gib 'nvidia-smi' ein und poste den output hier.

Ich verstehe nicht ganz, als PC im sinne von VM mit NAS? Hast du keinen pkatz mehr für eine kleine GPU wie zB eine Quadro P400 oder sowas in die richtung, die gibt's auch als low profile. Probier mal das du 'vga=6' zu deiner sysconfig.cfg am ende hinzufügst.

Ja das kann man verhindern aber sei dir bewusst das du dann die GPU nicht mehr in containern verwenden kannst. Mal eine andere Frage wrum hängt da eigentlich ein 4K monitor dran, nur fürs terminal ein wenig overkill oder?

Not really bacause this depends on the application you want to run. You can take for example a look at my luckyBackup container or the DirSyncPro container. Feel also free to try it with my novnc-baseimage, it has basically everything in it to run a GUI application. You can also send me a link to your repo if you made the first steps.

Not really easy since Steam also now implemented a authentification at their API... What you can do is that you restart the container once a day so that it would automatically pick up the update. You can do this by creating a user script and filling it with something like that: docker restart 7DtD (7DtD is actually the name from the container in this case)

Du kannst nur versuchen den Container komplett zu löschen, inkl dem Verzeichnis in appdata und dann neu aufzusetzten. Vergiss nicht denclaim musst du dann neu machen der ist nur für ein paar Minuten oder für ein paar stunden gültig. Bei mir funktioniert es einwandfrei mit dem offiziellen Plex container.

Was ist das Problem? Hast du einen 4K Monitor dran? Deine iGPU wird aktiviert und dadurch wird die Native Auflösung geladen die dein Monitor hat.

Es funktioniert mit dem anderen auch, probier mal den docker zu löschen und neu runter zu laden, ich weiß leider nicht woran das liegt das es beim ersten mal nicht funktioniert.

Bitte probier mal zum testen einen anderen container bzw. wenn du Zeit hast würde mich auch interessieren ob es mit Jellyfin funktioniert. Kannst du auch einen screenshot von deinem template schicken und bitte check auch nochmal ob du in den Extra Parameters '--runtime=nvidia' eingetragen hast.

Try to set the wait value on the plugin page higher something in the neighborhood of 300 seconds. As said above try to set the timeout higher since this will delay the start of the exporter itself and should make a restart obsolete. There is no easy way of restarting the exporter from the command line.

Im nvidia support thread hab ich auch genau beschrieben wie man emby/jellyfin/plex einbindet oder besser gesagt das template anpasst. Persönlich würd ich dir aber den offiziellen docker von pkex empfehlen aber ist jedem selbst überlassen welchen das er nimt.
