I've looked this now up and there is a button on my machine...

Deine Platten sind zwar für dich leer und neu jedoch heißt das nicht das alle Sektoren der Festplatte mit 0 gefüllt sind ab Werk. Im Moment solltest du sehen das er von den Array Platten liest und auf die Parity Platte schreibt da er jetzt wirklich jedes einzelne Bit überprüft und die Parität auf der Paritätsfestplatte festhält bzw. erstellt (auch wenn keine Dateien drauf sind ist das wichtig falls mal eine Festplatte ausfällt für die Wiederherstellung). Solange dieser Rechner XFS unterstützt und lesen kann ja, bedenke aber wenn du eine Festplatte aus dem System rausziehst wird die fehlende Festplatte in Unraid als fehlend angezeigt und falls du etwas auf der Festplatte ändern solltest die an dem anderen Rechner hängt stimmt deine Parität nicht mehr wenn du sie wieder in Unraid zurück einbaust und eine Wiederherstellung deines Arrays falls dir eine andere Festplatte ausfällt ist dann unter umständen nicht mehr "richtig" möglich. Darf ich fragen warum diese Frage? Oder gehts dir darum falls wirklich mal mehrere Festplatten auf einmal ausfallen und du willst die Dateien der ander Platten sichern? Ja das ist durchaus möglich, jedoch müssen die Festplatten in genau der gleichen Reihenfolge eingesetzt werden. Meine Empfehlung wäre aber hier die bestehenden Festplatten vom alten Server inklusive dem USB Stick in den neuen Server zu übertragen dann kannst du den neuen Server ganz normal starten, die Festplatten werden erkannt und alle Einstellungen usw. sind auch am neuen Server dann vorhanden. Für den dann alten Server würd ich eine neue Lizenz zu kaufen. Die Parity wird automatisch erzeugt sobald du auf das Array schreibst, bedenke aber das Unraid hauptsächlich eine Cold-/Hotstorage Speicherlösung ist. Sprich auf die Cache Platten wird unter Tags geschrieben und in der Nacht werden die Dateien vom Hotstorage (Cache) auf den Coldstorage (Array) übertragen. Du kannst dir natürlich auch Ordner/Share erstellen der dauernd auf dem Cache gespeichert bleibt für Dateien die oft gebraucht werden. Hier kannst du alles genau nachlesen wie alles funktioniert: Klick (Englisch) Falls du noch Fragen hast oder irgendwas unklar geblieben ist helfen wir dir hier gerne weiter. EDIT: zu 4.) hier wäre noch dazuzusagen das du Unraid auch ohne Cache betreiben kannst aber bedenke das die Schreibgeschwindigkeit nicht so hoch ist da der Server immer die Parität ausrechnen muss und auch gleichzeitig auf die Parity Festplatte schreibt, je nach System zwischen 40 und 70 MB/s - aber ACHTUNG du kannst in Unraid auch TurboWrite aktivieren damit kannst du mit "voller" Geschwindigkeit auf dein Array kopieren du hast aber einen riesen Nachteil, es werden bei jedem Schreibvorgang (egal auf welche Festplatte im Array) alle Festplatten aufgeweckt und von allen Festplatten im Array wird gelesen und nur auf die zu schreibende Festplatte und die Parity Festplatte geschrieben (TurboWrite würd ich nur für das initalle kopieren auf das Array aktivieren bzw. kann man auch Zeitgesteuert machen wenn es wirklich erforderlich ist).

I'm ok with all changes that makes the plugin quicker and more user friendly. I'm not really into web coding...

@Joedy The plugin is now working but you have to delete it from your plugins and install it new through the CA App. That happens when you migrating something newer to something older...

That's not necessary for upcoming versions of Unraid.

Oh my god, you saved my life, I had a bug in the Kernel-Helper-Plugin if no IQN was found the IQN page wouldn show up, now it should be fixed after a plugin update: EDIT: After you created a IQN the other tabs will show up.

The plugin creats a config file? No, it's the Unraid-Kernel-Helper-Plugin on the CA App. It will show you your targets, drives (now limited to FileIO and Block Targets),...

Can you please be a little bit more specific what is throwing errors and when, never got a problem in the GUI or does this happen when you install this plugin? You know that the Unraid-Kernel-Helper has now support for iSCSI and you can create Targets?

Hey @steini84 Don't know if you've already seen it but I've opened a PullRequest on your ZFS plugin to import/export the ZFS pools on start/stop of the array. I only thought this would be a nice feature. If not simply delete it.

Sorry for the late answer... Problem now solved and tested... Please update the container itself and it should work just fine. Keep in mind that you have to do the sync manually for the first time, after that the cronjob will work (also there will be no display output - luckySync does it this way, you can only check the logs -> LUCKYBACKUPDIR/.luckBackup/logs/NAMEOFTHEJOB-DATE.log)

Not that I don't want this but it's really difficult to do something when you don't got the hardware on hand, I've tried it I think a few months ago with a user here on the forum and it is really time consuming to do it like this...

Since I'm not one device that is capable of Thunderbolt I will not investigate further... Sorry...

Container is now updated. Can you please force an update of the container (on the Dockerpage enable advanced view on the top right corner and then click on 'force upaded' at the container) and try if everything is working now?

I will add support for that shortly. I will give you an update when its done.

Okay, nur so also info, hab meinen heute auch upgedated hat das neueste unrar 6.0.0 beta 1 drauf und par2 multi threading (glaub das multithreading benutzt keiner von den anderen, kann mich aber auch täuschen...) wenn jetzt alles läuft passts.

This is really strange. I've now tried this on my dedicated Dev server and it works without a problem. Everythin installs just fine...

Eventually try it with my Kernel-Helper: In the first post of this thread at the bottum you find precompiled images with nVidia builtin (please read the first post if you want to compile it yourself and also if you don't want to compile it on yourself, just to understand how it works).
