awesomre thanks..for option 2...i suppose i define ports in the docker configuration can you please inform me which ports? im using standard 32400 on one server and 32401 (external) to 32400 internal on other server

the correct network type for this particular docker image (and also plex) is 'host', if you are running it in any other mode then unless you are ok with defining the multiple ports and possible issues with connecting to certain plex clients then you COULD run it in bridge mode.
if switching mode from host to bridge or custom bridge is preventing the webui option from displaying then this is purely a unraid web ui bug, and should be raised as such, there isnt anything i can do to work around this, link to issues:- https://forums.unraid.net/bug-reports/stable-releases/
I can report there too but the plexpass docker so far is the only one having this issue I have been using br0 for quite sometime and this has not been an issue in the past only in the last 6 months or so, downgrading unraid has not solved it. it broke on the initial 6.7 update and only comes back using host (my OCD doesnt want to use that as I prefer to type a url into my browser to load the gui and it dont have issues with ports or remote access as port forwarding is to the docker now and not the unraid server itself
The other dockers are not having this issue when using br0 or bridge mode by chance then im curious why its only this docker -
Hey everyone. I have an odd issue and not sure how to disagnose it just yet. early this morning i got an alert one of my servers (the one in red in my signature) lost its slave connection with my (blue) one to the UPS. it appears immediate to that happening I could not access the GUI or ping the server not having a lot of time before work i hard booted it and would just let it run a parity check. it was about 81$ through parity check and "locked up again" only about 12 hours since it did before
I put "locked up" in quotes because i thought it was locked up but instead what happening is its loosing it network connection and gui it seems
the monitor and KVM attached allowed me to use top and htop to see processes are still running and the parity check i presume is mrecoveryd process is using about 5% of the i3-8100 in the system. created diagnostics but dont have access to them yet as there is no network connection to the server until i reboot it which i dont want to do until parity isnt running anymore. so I checked the syslog and got this around the time of the "lockup" from about 3 hours ago (took pic sorry not the best lighting
anyone able to trasnlate and diganose this for me? if diagnostics are needed ill post them as soon as i can
if anyone know what i can do to reset the ethernet connection via command line id be happy to try that

I went to try and restart the network process..i found /etc/rc.d/rc.inet didnt exist but inetd and inet1 and inet2 do
running a ping from one of the other servers I tried a restart of all three processes. no luck
I stopped all three then started inetd, then inet1 then inet2 and the server pings now and I can access gui and parity is nearly done at 93%
not sure what causing the network to crash but when i came upstairs to update this post and provide the diagnostics it appears its crashed again
I will get the diagnostics ASAP but not be until tomorrow due to family and work priorities
***update 2***I saw it went down again so i restarted the inet processes again and was able to grab the diagnostics and a screenshot of the log please see attached

Hello @binhex me with the no WebUI option when i click on the docker again with an update
I think i might have found the root issue and something that must have changed at some point in the docker.....I use under Network Type custom: br0 with that i lose my option for webgui when i left click the docker icon...when its set to bridge. exact same thing. once its set to host the webgui option returns.
I run static IP's as i use DNS entries to be able to ping the docker and access it via a URL i manually set up on PI-Hole's DHCP hostname function for example I can type http://mikeflix.myinternaldomain:32400 into my browser and it loads
Can you look further into this as it only stopped working maybe 6 months to a year ago when i first posted on your github account about it
other dockers i use br0 for host like Tautulli and Duplicati, Sonarr, Radarr and SabNZBd dont have this issue

this is how i got several flavours installed
boot and install using Arch as base (Manjaro is based on Arch-Linux) use cirrus as VNC video Driver for boot and install..once installed shut down and change driver for VNC to QXL and start the VM..worked for me on Cinnimon, Architect and Gnome and a few others -

Edit - I think perhaps setting duplicati to "no encryption" would do what I've described above? I may give that a shot.
I guess that depends on how private you want your backups to be. Encryption hides files names and the compression is important if you have limited storage options

Hey Ed saw your duplicati video i have installed it on all three unraid servers and currently uploading one servers shares encrypted with 4GB files to g-suite right now, thank you again I will have to buy you another beer soon! i love the encryption part. I had to call my ISP to get an upgrade as my main server is 80TB with about 69TB of data and at that 750GB/day limit will take about 1 year to upload...i have that one going to upload last...
so created multiple backup schedules but not using scheduling for now as I want to make sure its fully done before i schedule it for the much smaller incremental backups it will do after the initial backup
What I heard is if you talk to google you can ask them to uncap you upload limit if you explain the reason. i will be calling them tomorrow since my domain email isnt working yet anyways (been over two days since i created the mx records on aws)

moving this to the proper support so i tried your idea for the webgui option missing from the drop down menu its not working still
here is the exact process i followed, went to add container found the plexpass template loaded it then clicked the red X.. i deleted the docker image and redownloaded from CA apps (unRAID 6.7.2) all plugins are auto updated and checked daily) once the image was re-installed i tried the single click for the drop down and still not seeing a webgui link at all...so i tried a redownload and pointed to a new appdata folder and it loads the webgui options!
So aside from a potential issue of my data inside the binhex-plexpass folder on two different unRAID servers the only other difference are this
I rename from binhex-plexpass to MikeFlix and MikeFlix-4K
I assign static IP's using br0
I add transcode to ram with an added path of container path /transcode to host path /tmp -

followed kind of first line in the instructions is wrong for me

anyways i have a few titles in movies and TV that are now missing album art and meta refresh doesnt appear to bring them back, trying to fix match now to see if that works***edit appears even after resetting permissions and user/group its not working to get the few dozen album arts back at all i even removed a title and emptied the plex trash and re-added to download meta data fresh...it wont work

yeah new update...it seems every second update or so from plex seems to break a lot I have a cron set to restart the plex container every 48hrs because of this and it restarted this morning so seemed to break with less than 12 hours being up

Server would not stop array stuck at stopping services for over 10min...docker tab inaccessible but main tab showing all 8 cores at 100%
not sure what was happening top didnt show much other than plex was doing something taking about 91% of the 800% avaialblewas able to get diagnostics if anyone can help and let me know what happened that would be greatly appreciated

Hi thanks for your reply I ordered an network interface module for it that should give me access to the web GUI for multiple things. I should have it in the net two weeks I’ll see what I can figure out once that’s installed

im having same issue on a recently acquired APC Smart-UPS 1500 (SUA1500RM2U) worse part is that with brand new batteries im only seeing 5min run time with 100% charge and 14-16% load (doesnt sound right at all considering same load on my APC 1300 Backup shows 34min run time)

I have tried something, I noticed nginx crashing since the bios update on my motherboard..I was using legacy boot, i switched over to UEFI boot and will have to wait a couple days to see if issues crop back up..in mean time i also enabled troubleshooting mode via fix common problems so hoping to catch this with that if it occurs again. as I cannot change settings, grab diagnostics at all once nginx and unassigned devices crash docker and my docker apps stay running smoothly and i can stop and start them without issues....its odd for sure

I would love to but they never come via CLI or through the GUI best i can give you is the sys logs posts posted above that i have been leaving running.....I see my nginx is crashing too after a couple days of uptime, i can recover that without a reboot by killing nginx (stop command doesnt work then sarting it and restart php-fpm

Hello @dlandon I recently starting seeing issues with unassigned devices on one of my servers after about 2 days uptime (on unraid 6.6.7)
Any ideas the Main tab is just trying to load the mounts I have (to two servers running unraid 6.7.0)

Hello @limetech I might be missing something but wondering about the mellanox infiniband card drivers for networking?
I sent @eschultz 5 cards quite a while and was told they wouldn't make 6.6.7 but should make 6.7.0 I have these cards in all 3 of my servers and it would be great to utilize the 10/40gbps with the right cable for sending files across them.
The card is the Mellanox Connect-X2 in case you need it
if there is a delay or something i would appreciate some feedback if thats ok...thanks

Helo @binhex it appears the latest build of plexpass is very very broken
i have two physical unraid servers running a copy and both wont load the guithe logs are showing unexpected quits then stops retriying as a few moments
Edit*******very odd but both servers main databases corrupted at same time a restored one and only missed two days worth of newly added content

ok tried that it broke the image and i can only remove it now...tried tag
binhex/plexpass:1.14.1.5488 which is the current non beta version as per the plex official one*edit i see what i did wrong

I will give it a try on the one I only share with a select few people (my 4K one) and see..it it works out with little to no complaints and all my devices can reach internally and externally ill apply it to my main one
may i ask where these ports are put into the docker? under add ports? or extra parameters?
