Anyone had success yet?

Roon docker, unRaid Roon support, "steefdebruijn/docker-roonserver"
I'm right there with you. My unRaid server is sporting an underutilized i7 and has been flawless in handling Roon including multi-channel. The only issue is being able to revert to a previously saved update. I think the permissions issue looks like a hot trail.

Welcome to the club. Has anyone experimented with the port settings to see if that will fix the issue?

Roon docker, unRaid Roon support, "steefdebruijn/docker-roonserver"
Has anyone been able to restore backups with roon server on unraid? If so, would you mind sharing your process. Whenever I select restore back up, it loads the back up but then looses connection to the roon server. I then end up having to rename my roonserver to "roonserver_old" and start over again without the restored backup. Thanks, Mike

Hi Drew, Apparently I missed your earlier post on VM in this thread. I have been having the same issue you describe. Thanks for being persistent on this. I will try your latest install process and see what happens. Thanks, Mike

[Support] binhex - Krusader
I have several shares labeled as music, music1 and music2. In order to consolidate my music for Roon, I moved music1 and music2 subtier to music. Is it ok to move folders that are defined as shares?

Roon docker, unRaid Roon support, "steefdebruijn/docker-roonserver"
Hi Folks, I am trying to restore my Roon backup. They have asked me to delete the .restore_old directory from /data/RoonServer_Old/.restore_old which is in my unraid "appdata" share. However, it keeps saying I have to have permission to do that even though I have given read/write access and can open the folder in file explorer and change file names. Any thoughts on what's causing this?

I never specified a port setting. This is what worked for me: "I had to set privileged to on and change network from bridged to host."- Roon docker, unRaid Roon support, "steefdebruijn/docker-roonserver"
I am using Roon Remote on my iPad to access the core which is now up and running on my unRaid server. I had to set privileged to on and change network from bridged to host. This is my first docker, so I'm am not completely confident in the mapping I did above but everything seems to be working now. I read somewhere that it is best to remap "backup" someplace other than appdata. Is it OK to map it to my ISO share even though it is "secure"? Will it write to it?- Roon docker, unRaid Roon support, "steefdebruijn/docker-roonserver"
I realized that even though it says the docker is started that there was no volume or port mappings. It is in "bridge" mode. I now understand that I must volume map to the app. I assume that one does that by selecting "Add another Path, Port, Variable, Label or Device". Are there updated instructions somewhere for this? At the Github site: https://github.com/steefdebruijn/docker-roonserver it shows VOLUME [ "/ app" , "/ data" , "/ music" , "/ backup" ]. Is this what I should put in "Container Path"? What about name? Edit: I mapped "/app" and "/data" to the appdata share from the pull down menu and "/music" to my music share. Assuming I am on the right path here, for "/backup" is it OK to map it to my ISO share even though it is "secure"? I left name blank. I am now seeing that Roon files are in the appdata share. However there is no port shown.- Roon docker, unRaid Roon support, "steefdebruijn/docker-roonserver"
OK, I was able to install the docker listed above and it shows it in the docker tab as "started". However, it doesn't seem to have installed the actual Roon Server from what I can tell. Is it necessary to download the Linux based Roon Server (Easy Install Script) from their site and place it somewhere in my shares?- Roon docker, unRaid Roon support, "steefdebruijn/docker-roonserver"
Thanks for that. I got this message when I asked about a roon docker for unraid: "We haven't published any Docker images, but a member of our community did: https://github.com/steefdebruijn/docker-roonserver"- Roon docker, unRaid Roon support, "steefdebruijn/docker-roonserver"
- Dynamix - V6 Plugins
Should we just leave it as is and ignore the message until 6.7 release? It doesn't seem to be causing any problems with the exception of the warning messages.- Dynamix - V6 Plugins
I am unRAID 6.6.7 and my Dynamix plugin is giving me an error saying that it is only good for 6.7 and up. Isn't 6.6.7 the current version of unRAID?- ControlR (Android/iOS app for unRAID)
I just updated the app. I am using unRAID as my HTPC (Windows 10 VM) so I only turn it on when I operate the theater. I like being able to operate almost everything off the iPad. In any case, the fix worked and I'm back in business. Thanks!- ControlR (Android/iOS app for unRAID)
That was fast. Man...you're good!!!- ControlR (Android/iOS app for unRAID)
I am running the latest version of unRAID and ControlR is 3.5.0- ControlR (Android/iOS app for unRAID)
For some reason, after the update, I have been unable to "Start" the array and have to log in to a regular computer to do so.- Preclear plugin
I was preclearing a drive and when I started up the Windows 10 VM Preclear stopped. This is my first time using Preclear. This is also the first time I am using a new LSI 9211-8i controller card in IT mode for this drive. tower-diagnostics-20170721-1434.zip TOWER-preclear.disk-20170721-1427.zip- New Emby Docker
