[Support] Linuxserver.io - OpenVPN AS
Hi. I'm trying to change password for admin. I have never executed any commands such as the line above "docker exec -it openvpn-as passwd admin" Where do I execute this command?

Hi. I forgot the password for my web access. How do I reset this?

is this on the server settings?

Unfortunately, I cannot. The IP address of the existing network is 192.168.x.x. Upon connecting via VPN, I get IP addess of 172.x.x.x (can't remember what exactly).

Hi. I was able to successfully open ports, and connect via VPN. My question is, how do I get to access Unraid? I assume I currently cannot since I get a different set of IPs once connected via VPN.

Hi. Does this require opening of port in router?

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Unifi-Controller
@PeteAsking, So far, followed your instructions, set Unifi Controller to port 8080. Changed my Sab, Sonarr, Radarr to another port. In the "Controller Hostname/ IP," I put in 192.168.1.103, and Voila! APs started to get discovered by the controller. Now, I don't have problems anymore . Thanks @PeteAsking!

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Unifi-Controller
@PeteAsking Mine says I just noticed there is a space between IP and colon ":" Will this explain why it doesn't reconnect when disconnected? But I believe this doesn't explain why AP keeps on disconnecting from controller. Will read on it this weekend, how to create local DNS. Will also change ports 8080.

I don't have one. I use a Sophos XG firewall. After your instructions, I will have to do research to get it up and running. What does this mean? "But the AP itself is not on the bridged network." Is mine considered to be on a bridged network? I mentioned above I've setup VLAN on my Cisco Switch, so that each SSID is on it's own subnet.

Thank you. I'll see how I can change in my local DNS. Will report back once done.

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Unifi-Controller
When you say ping unifi, you mean ping the ip address of the controller from devices connected to the AP? That works currently. I'm not using 8080 since Sabnzbd docker container already using it. Is there any way to set in controller set-inform url?

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Unifi-Controller
I can complete the command: set-inform http://192.168.x.x:8085/inform And the AP gets adopted asap. After a day when I recheck, it's in the adoption loop.

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Unifi-Controller
Hi. Currently using 5.9.29 Stable Release. I have 3 SSIDs, each using different VLANS. I am also using Sophos XG Firewall, v18. I have enabled VLAN function. When you connect to each SSID, I do get different subnets, and each VLAN has it's own firewall rule. I got this working. My problem is, every day or 2 days, my APs gets discconected from the controller, and goes adopting loop once again. Since I'm using docker, and maybe because VLAN, the 2 APs don't see the Unifi Docker controller immediately. I have to ssh into it, and do set-inform http://...... I think the important question is, why does it disconnect from the controller? If it doesn't disconnect, I don't have to re-adopt. The most I've gone without disconnecting from the controller is 2 days. I don't know where to begin checking.

New Emby Docker
ok, a restart of Unraid does the trick. Another question though. For Core i3-7100, using VAAPI, how many simultaneous transcodes you think can it do? Of course, all this while Unraid, and just very basic apps running in the background (about 10%).

New Emby Docker
I have them. FYI, selecting vaapi, and enabling hardware encoding, upon saving, and restarting the emby docker container, the hardware encoding is unticked once more. "--device /dev/dri:/dev/dri" - in my extra params This is in my go file #!/bin/bash # Start the Management Utility /usr/local/sbin/emhttp & #Setup drivers for hardware transcoding in Plex modprobe i915 chown -R nobody:users /dev/dri chmod -R 777 /dev/dri But I don't have a working hardware transcode

New Emby Docker
@Rick Gillyon, Do you need to do anything in extra parameters for this docker app? Did you put anything in go file of Unraid? I have Intel Quick Sync set before, but just ticked H264 and HEVC now. Pressed Save. Is that it? You did mention you're using VAAPI. Is it recommended over Quick Sync? Emby version 3.5.3.0

Thank you! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New Emby Docker
What will Dashboard say? Does it say it's using VAAPI hardware transcoding? Plan to use Intel processor to transcode.

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Unifi-Controller
Hi. Tried deleted everything in appdata. I did some experiments, used a Windows PC instead of MAC. Can access the container fine. It's a Mac OS issue now. If anyone has any idea how to delete the Self-signed root certificate on a mac, please help. As I can't find anything on google that teaches me how to do this. But I can confirm, Windows 10 can access the site well.

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Unifi-Controller
Hi. I deleted my old Unifi container. Reinstalled. My Chrome, Opera, and Safari browser all cannot access the container, Invalid certificate error. I assume this is because my Mac previously have some sort of ssl certificate from previous container. I went into my keychain access, and deleted whatever unifi I saw there (1), deleted browser cache, and still the problem persists. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi. How do you know if transcoding is using the Quicksync enabled processor after applying Emby Premiere license? Where can you see this?

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Deluge
Hi. Don't know why my Deluge stops seeding, but continues to download. Stopping, and starting the docker container again starts seeding once more. Why is this happening? Follow-up question: Does remaining HDD space play a role here? I know I have limited space left, but it's still more than what I'm trying to download.

USB on VM disconnecting, USB using USB extender via RJ45
***UPDATE*** Just wanted to put some recent updates here. For those who are experiencing the same, or have solutions for this. As shared in above post, I am now currently directly connected to the NAS, for both keyboard and mouse. This works without problems. Recently, I tried connecting Nintendo Swich Pro controller to the NAS, for game use. The Pro controller has USB-C interface, and I have a short USB-C to USB type A cable. But since this is about 2 feet only, it won't be enough. I extended the cable with a 1 Meter long USB-A male to USB-A female such as this. and I was able to use it for a while, and the same disconnecting behavior happened. At this point in time, I think it's fair to say any extension, whether through lan, or through a simple cable such as this, causes USB disconnection. I don't know why though. I'd still like to find this out. I still want to move my NAS out of my room.
