  1. Hi. I'm trying to change password for admin. I have never executed any commands such as the line above "docker exec -it openvpn-as passwd admin" Where do I execute this command?
  2. Hi. I forgot the password for my web access. How do I reset this?
  3. Unfortunately, I cannot. The IP address of the existing network is 192.168.x.x. Upon connecting via VPN, I get IP addess of 172.x.x.x (can't remember what exactly).
  4. Hi. I was able to successfully open ports, and connect via VPN. My question is, how do I get to access Unraid? I assume I currently cannot since I get a different set of IPs once connected via VPN.
  5. Hi. Does this require opening of port in router?
  6. @PeteAsking, So far, followed your instructions, set Unifi Controller to port 8080. Changed my Sab, Sonarr, Radarr to another port. In the "Controller Hostname/ IP," I put in 192.168.1.103, and Voila! APs started to get discovered by the controller. Now, I don't have problems anymore . Thanks @PeteAsking!
  7. @PeteAsking Mine says I just noticed there is a space between IP and colon ":" Will this explain why it doesn't reconnect when disconnected? But I believe this doesn't explain why AP keeps on disconnecting from controller. Will read on it this weekend, how to create local DNS. Will also change ports 8080.
  8. I don't have one. I use a Sophos XG firewall. After your instructions, I will have to do research to get it up and running. What does this mean? "But the AP itself is not on the bridged network." Is mine considered to be on a bridged network? I mentioned above I've setup VLAN on my Cisco Switch, so that each SSID is on it's own subnet.
  9. Thank you. I'll see how I can change in my local DNS. Will report back once done.
  10. When you say ping unifi, you mean ping the ip address of the controller from devices connected to the AP? That works currently. I'm not using 8080 since Sabnzbd docker container already using it. Is there any way to set in controller set-inform url?
  11. I can complete the command: set-inform http://192.168.x.x:8085/inform And the AP gets adopted asap. After a day when I recheck, it's in the adoption loop.
  12. Hi. Currently using 5.9.29 Stable Release. I have 3 SSIDs, each using different VLANS. I am also using Sophos XG Firewall, v18. I have enabled VLAN function. When you connect to each SSID, I do get different subnets, and each VLAN has it's own firewall rule. I got this working. My problem is, every day or 2 days, my APs gets discconected from the controller, and goes adopting loop once again. Since I'm using docker, and maybe because VLAN, the 2 APs don't see the Unifi Docker controller immediately. I have to ssh into it, and do set-inform http://...... I think the important question is, why does it disconnect from the controller? If it doesn't disconnect, I don't have to re-adopt. The most I've gone without disconnecting from the controller is 2 days. I don't know where to begin checking.
  13. Thanks JorgeB, I was able to move it to PCIe already successfully without a glitch!
  14. Thanks SeeGee for the clarification. I thought amount of writes also determine lifespan of ssd.
  15. Hi. I'm planning to move my NVME connected to m.2 slot of M/B off to PCIe card. M.2 slot in motherboard is PCIe 2.0, slower. Will it affect my mounting? This NVME is currently functioning as cache. I also have my Gaming VM installed on this cache. If I move it to PCIe card with m.2 slot, upon bootup, will Unraid still recognize it as cache? Same mounting points? What about the Gaming VM? In another topic, I have this issue of a lot of writes on my cache drive. I'm currently thinking if to go with spinners on my cache drive in the meantime, while a lot of writing to my cache drive issue still hasn't been resolved, and dedicate the SSD to Gaming VM as unassigned disks only. Currently, my VM's mounting looks like this- /mnt/user/domains/Windows 10 Games/vdisk1.img Can I just modifiy the path, and my VM will still work?
  16. I haven't really bothered with the file size. I think it's not a lot as I don't notice drastic drop in my storage space. More issue is the amount of read and writes. In 36 hours, Reads of 1,123,531 and Writes of 2,337,765.
  17. It's a very long thread, and don't know if we exactly have the same problem. So this issue has been addressed in 6.9.0-beta25? I've stayed with 6.8.3 so far. But will go beta if it's fixed there. Don't want my cache dying on me.
  18. hi trurl, Indeed, I am using probably 8 apps. I need docker service on. Is it accepted that once docker apps is on, it will keep on writing a lot to the cache?
  19. I actually remember when I had docker apps in hdd, it was much slower to boot, and oftentimes encounter problems, or thought I encountered problems due to slowness to boot. It's much more snappy in ssd. To be honest, I have to move my 1 TB NVME out of cache already, and use it as unassigned devices (dedicated for gaming only). What will I assign as my cache drive? Will it be another SSD? Or just another regular hard drive? If another SSD, does it have to be enterprise quality? Knowing what I experienced above, that there are a lot of writes? Or consumer ssd will be good enough?
  20. I'll read through it. It's just that I never thought about this before. But now, while closely monitoring this, I saw it doesn't stop writing. Even with only 1 docker container up and running, I believe unifi controller.
  21. Update: So it turns out the only time my cache doesn't have anything writing on it is when all docker containers are off. Even with Unifi controller on, it writes frequently. Same with Emby, etc. Currently, I have my nvme as my cache drive. Does this shorten my nvme life significantly? Or can it handle it?
  22. what does this mean? root@Tower:~# lsof +D /mnt/cache/ COMMAND PID USER FD TYPE DEVICE SIZE/OFF NODE NAME shfs 7963 root 16w REG 0,38 4899 5119560 /mnt/cache/appdata/bazarr/app/log/bazarr.log shfs 7963 root 102u REG 0,38 2039808 1235079 /mnt/cache/appdata/bazarr/app/db/bazarr.db mono 15880 nobody 7u REG 0,38 7383040 184002 /mnt/cache/appdata/radarr/nzbdrone.db mono 15880 nobody 9u REG 0,38 65536 5121663 /mnt/cache/appdata/radarr/nzbdrone.db-shm mono 15880 nobody 10u REG 0,38 7383040 184002 /mnt/cache/appdata/radarr/nzbdrone.db mono 15880 nobody 11u REG 0,38 7383040 184002 /mnt/cache/appdata/radarr/nzbdrone.db mono 15880 nobody 12u REG 0,38 59695104 184003 /mnt/cache/appdata/radarr/logs.db mono 15880 nobody 13u REG 0,38 7383040 184002 /mnt/cache/appdata/radarr/nzbdrone.db mono 15880 nobody 15u REG 0,38 7383040 184002 /mnt/cache/appdata/radarr/nzbdrone.db mono 15880 nobody 16u REG 0,38 279848 5129825 /mnt/cache/appdata/radarr/logs.db-wal mono 15880 nobody 17u REG 0,38 32768 5129826 /mnt/cache/appdata/radarr/logs.db-shm mono 15880 nobody 18u REG 0,38 8149280 5121662 /mnt/cache/appdata/radarr/nzbdrone.db-wal mono 16461 nobody 4u REG 0,38 3247104 145178 /mnt/cache/appdata/sonarr/logs.db mono 16461 nobody 5u REG 0,38 113882000 145180 /mnt/cache/appdata/sonarr/logs.db-wal mono 16461 nobody 7u REG 0,38 3247104 145178 /mnt/cache/appdata/sonarr/logs.db mono 16461 nobody 9u REG 0,38 32768 145179 /mnt/cache/appdata/sonarr/logs.db-shm mono 16461 nobody 12u REG 0,38 21349376 147078 /mnt/cache/appdata/sonarr/nzbdrone.db mono 16461 nobody 13u REG 0,38 21969256 5124146 /mnt/cache/appdata/sonarr/nzbdrone.db-wal mono 16461 nobody 14u REG 0,38 21349376 147078 /mnt/cache/appdata/sonarr/nzbdrone.db mono 16461 nobody 16u REG 0,38 21969256 5124146 /mnt/cache/appdata/sonarr/nzbdrone.db-wal mono 16461 nobody 17u REG 0,38 196608 5124147 /mnt/cache/appdata/sonarr/nzbdrone.db-shm mono 16461 nobody 18u REG 0,38 21349376 147078 /mnt/cache/appdata/sonarr/nzbdrone.db mono 16461 nobody 19u REG 0,38 21969256 5124146 /mnt/cache/appdata/sonarr/nzbdrone.db-wal mono 16461 nobody 21u REG 0,38 21349376 147078 /mnt/cache/appdata/sonarr/nzbdrone.db mono 16461 nobody 22u REG 0,38 21349376 147078 /mnt/cache/appdata/sonarr/nzbdrone.db root@Tower:~# lsof /dev/nvme0n1p1 COMMAND PID USER FD TYPE DEVICE SIZE/OFF NODE NAME shfs 7963 root 16w REG 0,38 4899 5119560 /mnt/cache/appdata/bazarr/app/log/bazarr.log shfs 7963 root 102u REG 0,38 2039808 1235079 /mnt/cache/appdata/bazarr/app/db/bazarr.db mono 15880 nobody 7u REG 0,38 7383040 184002 /config/nzbdrone.db mono 15880 nobody 9u REG 0,38 65536 5121663 /config/nzbdrone.db-shm mono 15880 nobody 10u REG 0,38 7383040 184002 /config/nzbdrone.db mono 15880 nobody 11u REG 0,38 7383040 184002 /config/nzbdrone.db mono 15880 nobody 12u REG 0,38 59740160 184003 /config/logs.db mono 15880 nobody 13u REG 0,38 7383040 184002 /config/nzbdrone.db mono 15880 nobody 15u REG 0,38 7383040 184002 /config/nzbdrone.db mono 15880 nobody 16u REG 0,38 13656 5129851 /config/logs.db-wal mono 15880 nobody 17u REG 0,38 32768 5129852 /config/logs.db-shm mono 15880 nobody 18u REG 0,38 8149280 5121662 /config/nzbdrone.db-wal mono 16461 nobody 4u REG 0,38 3247104 145178 /config/logs.db mono 16461 nobody 5u REG 0,38 113882000 145180 /config/logs.db-wal mono 16461 nobody 7u REG 0,38 3247104 145178 /config/logs.db mono 16461 nobody 9u REG 0,38 32768 145179 /config/logs.db-shm mono 16461 nobody 12u REG 0,38 21349376 147078 /config/nzbdrone.db mono 16461 nobody 13u REG 0,38 21969256 5124146 /config/nzbdrone.db-wal mono 16461 nobody 14u REG 0,38 21349376 147078 /config/nzbdrone.db mono 16461 nobody 16u REG 0,38 21969256 5124146 /config/nzbdrone.db-wal mono 16461 nobody 17u REG 0,38 196608 5124147 /config/nzbdrone.db-shm mono 16461 nobody 18u REG 0,38 21349376 147078 /config/nzbdrone.db mono 16461 nobody 19u REG 0,38 21969256 5124146 /config/nzbdrone.db-wal mono 16461 nobody 21u REG 0,38 21349376 147078 /config/nzbdrone.db mono 16461 nobody 22u REG 0,38 21349376 147078 /config/nzbdrone.db
