  1. Can you talk to me more about why I would want to do this? I think I'm getting confused about what passthrough is. Well, for a normal VM, you could just use the built in web based VNC viewer or remote desktop. With a GPU that is passed through you can just plug it into a monitor and use the full power of the GPU/
  2. Probably just a display bug as right above it "Allocated: 7955MB" indicates 8GB of RAM.
  3. Make sure your cache share is set to ONLY for the VM. Right after 3AM is about the time Mover runs.
  4. I hate to state the obvious. But have you checked the cable to make sure its still properly plugged in?
  5. Make sure you cut that cable in half and file it under "G". You can mark it solved by editting your first post and changing the title and icon.
  6. How about the port on the switch side. It's not connecting to the other end..saw this in your logs: Speed: Unknown! Duplex: Unknown! (255) If switching ports on the switch doesnt work, try a new cat5e cable.
  7. Your motherboard has two ethernet ports, have you tried changing ports?
  8. Wouldnt this have been brought up as an issue a long time ago though? @Johnnie, are these SSD's you're testing on?
  9. No, the docker settings. container is what the application (CP in this case) would see. The host path is the unraid side. /data /mnt/user/downloads /media /mnt/user/movies CP would see /mnt/user/downloads as /data. CP would also see /mnt/user/movies as /media.
  10. Not sure I would want people to try this. You could very easily cause a fire if something contacted the internals of the PSU.
  11. Rob when you have the time please upload betas 7 through 13, just in case there’s one version where I can identify a big drop in performance, if not I’ll give up on this issue I've uploaded the additional betas plus some more, for anyone to test with. But be aware these are old versions with bugs and incompatibilities compared to current systems! Do NOT use on production systems! Make sure you have a complete backup of your flash drive and restore it for each test, as they may make incompatible changes to it. Even test systems with XFS or BTRFS drives should not be started with early v6 betas or any v5 release! These releases are for testing only! Do not allow any writes to the data drives. Disable any plugins and dockers that might write to the array. I would suggest a password protected archive as a container for the known dangerous versions, (beta7 and 8?) with the password only given by direct communication. I would hate for someone to start playing around with one of the silent data corruption betas without full knowledge of what they are risking. I would suggest not posting any links to beta 7 or 8...period. That's just asking for trouble. Jon, have you guys been able to reproduce in your labs?
  12. How about a simple statement in all change logs... For further changes see the full changelog at the [insert link] link.
  13. This is a peculiar issue that's for sure. I wonder if Lime-Tech has been able to re-produce in their test systems? What a HUGE difference in parity check speeds from early 5 RC's to 5.0 final even!! @Johnnie, now I know you did not do FULL parity checks as there's no way you would have been done already, but If you sat at the webGUI hitting refresh that might slow them down... perhaps the tunables script is a less invasive test?
  14. OK. Are your downloads and appdata shares set to "Use Cache?: ONLY" ? If yes, CouchPotato should rename as follows: FROM: /data TO: /media Change the transmission docker from /downloads to /data as well (they should be similar so cross communication works properly).
  15. Thinking out loud here.... is this possibly a CPU ramping issue? It's been reported that CPU is at 100% and getting a 2 core + CPU somewhat helps the problem...?
  16. Don't even bother with ebay, these cards are inexpensive new. http://www.newegg.ca/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007708&IsNodeId=1&bop=And&ActiveSearchResult=True&SrchInDesc=5450&Page=1&PageSize=30
  17. I think something like this http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817338120 would work. Yes it's dual rail, but at 24A each you wouldn't run into any problems for eight drives on a single one of those rails.
  18. YES. I have bistreamed Dolby-HD and DTS-HD using this card and openelec.
  19. Do you have a user share called 'archive', no caps, as well??
  20. Man we get so [frick]en hosed here in Canada. Same drive, $199.99 + tax + s/h on newegg.ca No wonder I have 3TB drives in my array!!!! (They are $139, WD Red).
  21. Another requirement is that the motherboard has two 16x physical slots for your two GPU's.
