I'm currently using Unraid on my home server and Proxmox on another server. I'm very happy with Unraid, and I'd like to migrate the second server to Unraid as well.

Hi everyone, I'm currently running Proxmox and I'm considering migrating to Unraid. Before I proceed, I'd like to understand the best way to handle my existing storage setup without risking any data loss. My current configuration is: - Proxmox host - ZFS RAIDZ1 pool consisting of 4 × 4 TB hard drives - 1 SSD used as a cache device My main concern is preserving the data currently stored on the ZFS pool. I do not want to lose any data during the migration process. Is there a recommended migration path from Proxmox to Unraid in this scenario? Can Unraid import and use an existing ZFS RAIDZ1 pool directly, or would I need to back up the data, recreate the storage configuration, and then restore everything? I would also like to understand how the SSD cache drive could be integrated into Unraid after the migration. If anyone has migrated from Proxmox with a similar setup, I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience, any potential pitfalls, and the safest way to preserve the existing data. Thanks for the instructions. I wanted to point out that if you're using the organization_mainnet-v1.0-p19.9 version, the node isn't able to sync. I updated to the pinetwork/pi-node-docker:organization_mainnet-v1.0-p20.2 version and it works.

I have an unraid server with two network cards. could I install a vm with opnsense using the two cards, one for wan and one for lan? in this case how would unraid connect to the same virtualized network? Thx.
