  1. So i had time to mess with it today. If i uninstall and reinstall the. Nvidia plugin and restart it's still a blank screen. If i uninstall the Nvidia plug-in and restart then i get the webgui beck. If i then reinstall the Nvidia plug-in and let it download. And stop and restart docker as per the big message. Then restart i lose the webgui again.
  2. I updated from 6.9.0 to 6.9.1 today and on startup my local machine loaded to a black screen. I can access it through any other device on my network just fine. I can press ctrl-alt-f1 and get into the console on Uber kidney machine. I previously set it up to boot straight into the webgui. And it never had any issues until after this update. Here is what I've done: Restarted Tried the commands: modprobe i915 & /etc/rc.d/rc.4 Checked to see if there was an old dynamix.plg file there wasn't. Downgraded back to 6.9.0 Restarted again. Checked in my bios to make aure it wasn't booting in UEFI. (It's set to boot straight from the sandisk flash drive.) Ran update assistant which said a few plugins need to be updated so i updated those. Upgraded back to 6.9.1 Restarted again for good measure. I just can't get it to boot into the webgui on the local machine. Which hasn't been a problem for the last 2 years. And yes i do use the webgui on the local machine or i wouldn't worry about it. I've checked Google. The forums here. I haven't found much in the issue. I'm not sure what else to do or try?
  3. It's not DHCP i am not sure but i think the issue waa my router won't let me loopback to it. So like i have swag setup i can't access it from my local network if i use the domain i setup. No i have to use my internal ip. And that's true for any Internet facing service that runs on my server. But again my router sucks. So i assumed that was the dns binding issue and saw i could change my dns to dynamic and hey it worked.
  4. It's a crappy actiontec c1900a modem/router from centurylink.
  5. Just a heads up. I couldn't get it to provision on my server. I went into my router and changed the dns room static to dynamic and then it worked. So maybe that will help someone else.
  6. Aww i tried incognito mode it didnt let me login. I went back to ssl. But maybe I'll disable it and clear the cache and see if that works. But it had me freaking out cause i couldn't access my server. Luckily it was still logged in on another tab and i was able to enable the ssl and get back into it.
  7. I was more concerned with the fact when i disabled SSL and accessed my http://ip as well as http://tower it wanted me to login and wouldnt accept my login credentials. Or allow me to login.
  8. I think swag has too have port 443 forwarded to whichever port swag is set for. So it can intercept all https connections and redirect them as set since services like nextcloud will attempt to connect on 443.
  9. my remote access isn't working cause its conflicting with swag I think. if i change the port from 443 to a different port it works but then i have to add that to my webgui to use unraid and thats kinda a pain.
  10. So now i'm kinda afraid that if i disable or remove the plugin i won't be able to access my server.
  11. So I disabled SSL and the IP address worked but would not let me sign in. however tower/Main still worked and was logged in. so i enabled ssl again and now its forwarding to the unraid.net page instead of the local IP. Hmm.
  12. i can access it with: https://IP:port but since my local ip doesn't have a ssl. it has a big warning in Firefox. Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead. that i have to accept the risk each time.
  13. So i got it all up and running. - Except now when i go to tower/ or [ip address] it changes it to the unraid.net page. is there a way to access directly it on my local network inside my network and from the unraid.net page outside of my network?
  14. So i upgraded. and it hasn't crashed once, it's been almost 7 days. Thank you again.
  15. just saw your reply. beta25, now. but i'll update to it. thank you.
  16. Yeah I figured that part was due to my external UD. But I don't think that's what's been causing it to freeze. Can I run chkdsk from unRAID? Or do I need to move the drive to a windows PC? - also about 3 weeks ago there was a folder that I can't delete. Not in unRAID. Not in a terminal. Not in Krusader. And not remotely though windows. I'd assume that is what is causing that error in my syslog.
  17. this time it froze i happen to do a tail -f on the syslog. and this was the last series of events that happened before it froze. I had to hardboot it. which i hear isn't good for it anyways. the mouse wouldn't work. the keyboard anything... Anyways, can anyone see if they see anything in here that could be causing it that I might be able to fix? 18. I moved to unRAID due to it solving issues I had with raid like different disk sizes. And adding more as you go. Parity is nice to have too. In hear snapshots would be a nice feature.
  19. I went with unraid because it solved all the issues that I didn't like about raid. Not losing all your data if the array fails, adding drives as you need them and not having to rebuild/erase the array. Being able to use drives of different sizes. Are the main ones. Plus to finally move to an os with redundancy is the best thing ever. Haha.
  20. Are those unraid VMs? Or are they VMs running under a Windows VM? If they are unraid VMs. How would I go about getting the image files so I could set those up on my unraid as well?
  21. Hey, if it helps, I noticed on my Plex. It happened when i optimized the database and deleted bundles.ud assume anytime the scheduled talks does either or both of those it's corruots the db.
