Great plugin - thank you!

Just wanted to echo @InternetD . Thanks @Kilrah for this custom container. Made my transition from another custom-but-outdated container much easier.

[Support] knex666 - FileBrowser
WTH? I posted a response to this 2 days ago, but I don't see it now. Frustrating. This works fine for me through upgrades. I'm busy at work but lemme hit the high points from my template (in addition to the standerd variables and such from the template): Repository: filebrowser/filebrowser Post arguments: -d /database/database.db Path to database (path): container path /database host path /mnt/cache/appdata/filebrowser/db Hope this helps.

Beta 7.2.x hanging due to SMTP auth error
I went from 7.14.1 to this and hung and had to revert back. It seems Microsoft had broken my SMTP settings (by removing the SMTP access I had before), and one of my plugins was deprecated and the upgrade script tries to email notice of that and rather than timeout and contine it just got stuck. I reverted and fixed SMTP by moving to a different provider and re-upgraded and it booted ok.

Looking for Docker for notes app - WizNote?
Hey there, did you ever get this sorted? Same issue here.

Hey all, I’ve been trying to get this running for 2 hours. Even though I’ve run the chaos command to change to 5050 with no errors showing in that, the container fails to start. It always shows it can’t execute bash because of a permissions issue. Any fix at this time?

After update from 7.1.2 to 7.1.3, no more GUI and network connection possible on unraid.
Definitely the most disappointing update quality control in about 2 years. We were on such a good run, too.

After update from 7.1.2 to 7.1.3, no more GUI and network connection possible on unraid.
https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/manual/upgrade-instructions/#manual-upgrade-or-downgrade Pay VERY close atttention to the steps, especially these: Move (not copy) bz* and changes.txt from the root of the flash drive to the previous directory, overwriting files as needed Copy bz* and changes.txt from the unzipped file to the root of the flash drive I copied too many files over a couple of years back and royally borked my server for a few hours.

Unraid OS version 7.1.3 available
I'd go to 7.12 until more is known about these loss of GUI issues. Hadn't had those is about 18 months before this, back when the OG br0/macvlan/ipvlan stuff was going on.

After update from 7.1.2 to 7.1.3, no more GUI and network connection possible on unraid.
There's a way to overwrite certain files on the flash drive with files from a downloaded and extracted 7.1.2 image, but I'd consider that last resort. Easier would be to reboot your server and on the local keyboard and display of the server itself choose to boot to GUI mode. That should work to make the change.

After update from 7.1.2 to 7.1.3, no more GUI and network connection possible on unraid.
One of these two, the very simple one with a single interface running a single VM and a handful of containers, has a br0 interface. The much more complex one with several interfaces and disks does not. I ended up reverting both back to 7.12. The latter required another hard power off to complete the process.

Unraid OS version 7.1.3 available
Reverted both mine to 7.1.2. The one that had required a hard power off during the upgrade process also required a hard power off to finish the reboot to the downgrade. This server has been running Unraid since like 6.0 and it only has this issue like 5-10% of these OS updates for some reason.

Unraid OS version 7.1.3 available
Saw the same thing on one of the 2 servers I updated. Now 30 hours later I've found I've lost gui on both in the last several hours.

After update from 7.1.2 to 7.1.3, no more GUI and network connection possible on unraid.
I upgraded 2 of my 3 servers yesterday. One went fine, the other hung on the reboot and I had to hard power down. It ended up booting fine, just like the other one. Thirty hours or so later and now I can't access the gui on either of them (worked fine as recently as this mornig). Seems the VM and containers are still running, but man this is not good.

Yeah, you're probably seeing the same ones. Before Streammaster I guess Threadfin was the most promising because it is still being developed, though I found it way more difficult to use than it should be. SM was very good as a proxy and the stream balancing was good, like Threadfin's - maybe better. As a hardware and software product manager earlier in my career, I'll say the UX of SM was far superior, though it still had a number of design issues, IMHO. The user, MrM0nday, who apparently helped with this much improved UX apparently went off months ago and started building a similar app called AIPTV. Here's the deal - apparently it was effectively all AI-coded, and when it rapidly started closing the gap with SM some hurt feelings surfaced. They were both pulled within 24 hours of each other. I mention the above for some context, but also to note how quickly new projects may evolve. Here's one that I've started watching, though I've not yet run it through its paces: https://github.com/sonroyaalmerol/m3u-stream-merger-proxy We should all let this group know if something promising emerges!

[SUPPORT] Terratrax - Nextcloud Multimedia
Honestly, compared to my overall files library my Nextcloud footprint is pretty small. It is my family's "private cloud" for sharing controlled documents like medical, passport, and other info as well as quick notes and temporary files between media servers and such. I will soon start using it much for for the photos stuff I referenced. In my case, I just installed the container parallel to the existing LS instance so that I could feel comfortable about a fallback and to make referencing config stuff easy. The new install had a new database container as well. Then I just manually moved the files in for each user and the shares. It was very straightfoward and completed pretty quickly. Definitely more work than one would like to do, but I wanted to be closer to be closer to the officially supported image and have support for those additional face recognition and other libraries. I've been on the other images for years, and I expect I won't have to do this again for many years. Something better than Nextcloud may come along by then - who knows?

Founder took his ball and went home. When he shutdown the Github without notice and then started calling other projects out it seemed the temperamental writing was on the wall. Shame. It was not well managed, but definitely had some great potential.

Yep, seeing the same thing here. Also noticed I have an appdata folder with only an empty /db folder in it. Not sure how anything would persist in the current state of this image and template.... EDIT - I found that by manually adding the Post argument string in the screenshot from a couple of posts back that now I at least have the database.db in that /db folder. Unless the pw is stored in there, which is not optimal because it makes a reset more difficult, I still think there's an issue.

[SUPPORT] Terratrax - Nextcloud Multimedia
@terratrax - Thanks a bunch for pulling this together. After running the Linuxserver container for about 3-4 years I've started playing more with recognition, and meeting the requirements was a challenge. I tried about 3 other containers that all presented issues to me (to be fair I was using my existing Mariadb database). I didn't try yours because I saw in the info it says Version 27, and I decided no way am I going to use something almost 4 major revs back. Then I jumped in here today to look for tips to fix the others and noticed you'd updated to v30. I jumped in, fresh database and all and things are looking very good. Maybe you should update the Community App description? I think it would help a ton more people that way. Cheers!

Also, speaking of tags, do you recommend the fpm or regular image? I'm running a reverse proxy and thinking fpm might be better in that case?

[Support] kilrah/nextcloud-ffmpeg with pdlib
I was able to get it running and on first appearances it seems mostly okay. I forgot to start with v29 and after launching the latest version successfully going back to v29 I was getting no gui (though no errors showing in the console). So I went back to latest and did a cli upgrade. I think I can resolve the security and setup issues reported in the Overview screen. One odd thing though, is that when I do go to the console, I get something like: I have no name!@5cbf7e44702e:/var/www/html$ I have no name!@5cbf7e44702e:/var/www/html$ whoami whoami: cannot find name for user ID 99 Any ideas on what would be causing that and how to resolve it?

Got it. Do you think this would work? 1. dump existing database to .bak file via mysqldump 2. rename current /data folder with all my files to /data2 3. install your container clean, with it's different /appdata path, /data folder, and a new mariadb database container 4. /move files from /data2 to /data 5. import database dump

I'm trying to migrate to this from the Linuxserver container. I have a separate Mariadb container hosting the database. I recreated the extra variables and paths, and I accessed the gui. It is asking me to create an admin account so I do that, and specify a Mariadb database with the appropriate information, and I keep getting an error "Cannot create or write into the data directory /var/www/html/data". That's defined as the /data path, has 777 permissions, etc. Any ideas on how to fix this, or otherwise migrate to an existing instance without recreating most everything?

[Support] StreamMaster
I've tried it off and on, but there is a much better "Channels" version that they makes changes to sometimes and it wipes out my settings. I wish Senex, the developer, would open it up and let a lot of contributors move it along faster because it has tremendous potential. I'd even pay something reasonable as a one-time supporter contribution, but seems like he wants to keep it as a mostly personal project.
