NLS
Is there any way I can do that? It would be great. That folder would only be accessible with appropriate client (for all major OS and mobile OS) and password. Quote Link to comment
JonathanM
Not natively. You could host a truecrypt or similar volume on one of the shares. Quote Link to comment
NLS
I know that about using client side encryption. Was looking for server side. Maybe release 7... Quote Link to comment
itimpi
Encryption in Unaid is at the whole disk level - not at any finer grain such as a folder (share) or file. Quote Link to comment

ChatNoir
Not using it, but I think that it is this : https://wiki.unraid.net/Manual/Security#Data_Encryption Quote Link to comment
primeval_god
You can run VeraCrypt in a docker container. Quote Link to comment

primeval_god
Basically the same as you would using it client side. Open the interface, select an encrypted container, enter the password to mount the it. Using docker bind mounts with the "shared" flag you can make the veracrypt mounts accessible from the host and thus shareable via SMB. Quote Link to comment
