I'd recommend using something like Prism Launcher it can download the correct version of Java, Minecraft and all the mods in an easy searchable menu.  It is what I use, and it works on Windows, Linux and MacOS.

When trying to join the server with the latest release of ATM9 from curseforge I get the follow errors

Hello,

I am trying to run a stoneblock 3 server but every time I get the following error about datapacks:

[main/WARN] [minecraft/Main]: Failed to load datapacks, can't proceed with server load. You can either fix your datapacks or reset to vanilla with --safeMode

 

I have seen other people ask about this error but they either didn't follow up whether it was fixed or the fix was something completely different like changing the port from 25566 to 25565.

I have started from scratch many times, with deleting the whole folder, forced update the docker, nothing straightforward seemed to work.

 

OK during typing this I got it to work (with some brute forcing).

I stopped the docker, then just deleted everything in the main folder, kept the docker and turned it on again. The error didn't show up anymore in the logs during creation of all the files and I managed to log in to the server and spawned in the proper stoneblock 3 lobby. On the minimap I did see the overworld, not sure if that is ok or not, when stepping into the portal to enter the chosen map/scenario, the minimap looks propery 'grey' from all the stone so that's good.

Hi all,

Relatively new to UNRAID.  I have downloaded and installed the docker (I think) and the server appears to start but cannot connect to it with the most recent version of Minecraft Java 1.21.3.

 

Would love to know if there is a full step by step guide somewhere or video that will help me configure both sides.  I am comfortable with doing port forwards etc.

@FreakyBigFoot Are you referring to vanilla minecraft?  I'm not producing containers for that, there are already excellent ones.

 

@Dwarfboysim Modded minecraft requires both the server and client sides to match.  I'm a fan of PrismLauncher for installing client side.  The version of the modpack matters too.

Vault hunters wasn't updating due to some changes on their side.  The latest version should be up now. 3.15.1.4

@Goobaroo Hey man. i firstly would like to thank you for all the work you have put in to make all these minecraft docker containers.

i have a request or a question rather.
Enigmatica 6 1.9.0 Modded Minecraft Server this one that you made a year ago. would it be possible to tweak the install script to make it Enigmatica 6  - Expert 1.9.0 instead of the regular version. or is it something you can make a new Container for in a jiffy?

thanks for all the great containers. Currently, I have a problem with the All-The-Mods-9-To-The-Sky. I use custom ports as I run several Minecraft containers, but All-The-Mods-9-To-The-Sky seems not to take the port I write into the field in the container and I can't connect to the server using the configured port. I can connect using the standard port though. I tried to set the port manually in the server.properties but the file gets overwritten if I restart the server. Oh and I'cant connect to the Authentication Servers with this Container, others work fine. Could you look into this or does somenone else already solved this problem?

Could you update the Direwolf20 1.21 pack when you have a chance please. The docker is a few versions behind now.

i'm trying to install the latest version of Dawncraft via community applications. 

But it only installs 2.0.9f and not the latest version. 

Even if it pulls the latest it only pulls the 2.0.9f version of the docker. 

 

Stoneblock 3 has had another update it seems (Just a minor one)

1.11.2:

Updated FTB Worlds mod (rgp_client-1.0.3.jar -> rgp_client-1.0.5.jar)

All the Mods 9 doesn't seem to be updating to 1.0.3, mines set to latest and only going to 1.0.2

I deleted the 1.0.2 server files and restarted the container and it just grabbed 1.0.2 again and not the latest 1.0.3.

I wasn't able to reproduce, what is in your `appdata/allthemods9` directory?

So what i additionally did was delete absolutely everything in /data and let it boot up and grab everything, and above is what it grabbed. Still 1.0.2. 

 

I can upload all the files to my nextcloud too if you wanted a deeper look. Its uploading now but taking some time. 

 

Notably the server updated itself through several version before fine. I can see you updated the latest tag to be 1.0.3, and my docker container settings are set to latest.

So I had Server 1, then wanted to make Server 2. I copied the template from Server 1, and modified it for Server 2.

At the time of this copying, Server 1 was 1.0.2. Both containers are set to pull "latest". Server 1 has been shut down since I made Server 2. I shut down Server 2, and started Server 1, and it instantly grabbed 1.0.3 correctly. Strange. I then shut down Server 1, started Server 2, and it did not. Still stuck on 1.0.2. 

So what I did was backup Server 2, totally deleted the container, and added a new one and did not use the template from Server1 (which I used to save some work entering in info in the template fields). That new container pulled 1.0.3. I then copied back over the world folder, and its working on 1.0.3. Not sure what about copying the template and then modifying that broke it so it won't update itself. But seems to be all set now.
