abeksis
Hello, I have a problem after a few hours (from time to time after a day or two, but after 8 hours a day), I have a problem with usb so I changed the usb and after obtaining a new license. I tried all sorts of solutions to what I found at the wonderful and nothing helps. I enclose the commands and system log, I'd be happy to help and find a solution to the problem repeats itself. I enclose the details of the system = v6.0-beta7 64bit killall emhttp root@HomeServer:~# nohup: ignoring input and appending output to ‘nohup.out’ nohup: failed to run command ‘/user/local/sbin/emhttp’: No such file or directory root@HomeServer:/var/log# tail -f /var/log/syslog Aug 29 19:21:03 HomeServer kernel: UDP: bad checksum. trurl
Not sure I understand. Why do you killall emhttp? Since v5 emhttp cannot be restarted without a reboot (but see here) When you are unable to access the webGUI, is emhttp running? ps aux | grep emhttp Quote Link to comment
abeksis
Thanks for the reply, As I wrote, webGUI interface stopped working and I had bo access to the browser, I have tried all sorts of options until I got some instructions to make a killing at the solutions. And i try to restart the webGUI. root@HomeServer:~# killall emhttp root@HomeServer:~# nohup / user / local / sbin / emhttp & But all actions have not yielded results. My problem is that after a few hours once in 24 hours, once after 10 hours, the webGUI interface via the browser does not respond. Quote Link to comment
Brucey7
I have found that the webgui is quite sensitive to bandwidth between your client and the server. If you're on WiFi and maxing out your bandwidth, e.g. copying large files, that is often enough to hang the webgui. Reboot solves the problem. Quote Link to comment
abeksis
I did not understand, Reboot the server? Or the internal network? What idea to reboot the server every time the webgui interface does not work? And it relatively frequently. Quote Link to comment
Frank1940
Best way to restart emhttp is to reboot the server. The most common cause of emhttp stopping working is that it has been 'killed' by the operating system because the system had run out of memory and selected emhttp as a process to be killed to get the memory it was using for another process. This usually occurs when you are running a number of plugins. This can be minimized by changing emhttp priority level. You should also post what version of unRAID you are running and a SYSLOG for the true experts to analyse. For details on how to post a syslog, see here: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=9880.0 Quote Link to comment
abeksis
Thanks for the reply, I wrote the first post which operating system I run (6.0-beta7). Plug-ins that I run through Dockers | Couchpotato | HTPC-Manager | Transmission. That means there could be memory runs out and drops the service emhttp to free the memory? Right now I only have 4 GB of memory, is worth adding more memory? Here's a picture of the disks that run on the system. Photo Quote Link to comment

You should probably be posting this in the Announcement sub-forum section which is found here: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?board=1.0 and directly in the 6.0-beta7 thread which is here: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=34771.0 Quote Link to comment

abeksis
Thanks for the reply, If there is a manager that can transfer an entire thread that would be great. The actual problem? Currently you have restarted the computer and is holding up .. but it happens from time to time it just hangs Interface (GUI) Quote Link to comment
shremi
I also have the same problem but I am using beta 6 I have 12gb of ram so I don't think ram is the issue here... Did you find a solution? Quote Link to comment
homer31s
May be the answer. I often lost my web interface for month. On reboot it worked again. I read a lot of post on forums but no solutions works the me. Until this week, I saw in my logs this kinds of thing : Mar 23 21:47:20 Tower in.telnetd[4235]: connect from 78.189.110.245 (78.189.110.245) Mar 23 21:47:21 Tower telnetd[4235]: ttloop: peer died: EOF Mar 23 21:48:01 Tower in.telnetd[4236]: connect from 78.176.227.186 (78.176.227.186) Mar 23 21:48:03 Tower telnetd[4236]: ttloop: peer died: EOF .... many times. I remembered I had opened port 23 for telnet from the outside. I closed this port and from this time I have no more problems with my web interface I closed it for a week and web gui still alive.
