  • Thanks to your comment I found out the user and passwd as well lol. Cannot find it in the front page or installation page. Not sure how to edit it either.

  • looks like a new install is not setting the proper permissions:   root:root rwxrwxr-x /LogitechMediaServer-8.0/cache root:root rwxrwxr-x /LogitechMediaServer-8.0/logs root:root rwxrwxr-x /L

  • Is your docker network type set to Host? Also, check your permissions. I like you had an older install that worked - check my previous post a page back.

Hi @snoopy86 Thanks for maintaining a LMS Docker.

In this forum thread there is mention of a 'Tidal Local' plugin that supercedes the Tidal 1.5.2 plugin. In the plugin list in your Docker this 'local' version of the plugin is missing. After inquiry in the Lyrion Community a user replied:

Quote

On Docker Hub , the description says that it comes with AirPlay so perhaps the maintainer has pre-installed some plugins - including one for Tidal … however, that relies on mysb so would be doomed to failure.
Perhaps it is not using the official LMS unofficial 3rd-part repository list … so best things to do might be to contact the maintainer and ask about getting it resolved or switching to the LMSCommunity Docker which is known to be working well in this particular case

Is it something that you would be willing to have a look at? Maybe it is as simple as changing the plugin repo URL to the official LMS unofficial 3rd-part repository list. The current list of plugins is here: https://lyrion.org/plugins/directory/ But this might not be the right repo URL. Thanks.

Hi @janpeeters, sorry for the late response, but I have checked this, and there is a Tidal Local plugin available in LMS plugins.

Thinking of moving to this since the Handbrake docker seems to just be crashing my server left and right. I do have a few questions. Is it possible to change encoding settings to something different than the standard options?

Yes, you can use your own parameters.

@snoopy86 Just an FYI, your Lyrion template has an incorrect tag for the ghcr.io image. It should be ghcr.io/lms-community/lyrionmusicserver:rc instead of :latest.

Good day, was wondering if there was any plans on updating EmonCMS as the version here is missing features Home Assistant Expects in order to work properly, appreciate the hard work!

I'm confused - on Docker Hub it says: https://hub.docker.com/r/lmscommunity/lyrionmusicserver
Tags

  • latest: the latest release version, currently v9.0.3

  • stable: the bug fix branch based on the latest release, currently v9.0.4

  • dev: the development version with new features, and potentially less stability, currently v9.1.0

I've tried:
ghcr.io/lms-community/lyrionmusicserver:dev
and the Server is now on: Lyrion Music Server Version: 9.1.0 - 1766418462

But according to this:
- RC should be a valid Tag - but maybe :stable would be the best option?

Just an addition - Spotify changed their API and the Spotty Plugin needed an update (thanks to mherger the fix came quite fast):
https://forums.lyrion.org/forum/user-forums/3rd-party-software/1802770-announce-spotty-v4-60-0-the-christmas-crash-release-%F0%9F%8E%84%F0%9F%8E%81
I could not get the needed Token, if using the client ID, but without the client ID I'm able to connect to Spotify again. I still have some issues losing the token / get the token refreshed and therefore need to reauthenticate quite often. But this could be an issue on my site.

Announce: Spotty v4.60.0 (the Christmas Crash Release 🎄🎁)

2025-12-25, 14:52

After a few hours of listening to Spotify using Spotty while cleaning up the Christmas Eve mess, I decided to do another quick release... this will hopefully fix the issues exposed by the latest Spotify API changes from a few days ago. There are a few important notes:

  • Double check your authentication with Spotify. If in doubt: remove your account and re-authorize.

  • Authentication using the Spotify app is no longer possible. If you fail to browse your collection, do as above: remove the account and re-authorize.

  • If you're running LMS in Docker, make sure you read and follow the note about defining your server IP (https://hub.docker.com/r/lmscommunit...ces-ip-address)

  • Try without your own client ID first.

  • If you really want to use your own client ID, make sure you add the following URL as a redirect URI to its configuration (this is NOT the same as before!):

Code:

https://api.lms-community.org/auth/callback
