unRAID Server Release 6.1.8 Available

Only the update notifications(Plugins and Dockers) are broken for me. All of the rest work fine.

Same here, all other notifications work, just the update notification for plugin and docker.  I think it was mentioned there was a fix in the next release to handle this.

All I get is authorization failed no matter what I set for "googlemail" AKA Gmail

You have to set Gmail to 'allow less secure apps' https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps

The above along with my settings work just fine for me. Keep in mind I'm talking about Nofifications in general not Plugin updates.

Really??  I just created an application specific password for Unraid (in Gogole security settings).  Works fine.  I still don't get notifications  ;D, but the test emails do come through fine. So IMO this is a problem on the Unraid side of things.  Also 'allow less secure apps' won't work if you have 2-factor turned on, which I imagine most users here do...

Sounds like two seperate issues.

First is unRaid not sending notifications for app updates. This is a known issue- http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=46436.msg445722#msg445722.

Due to be corrected in the next release.

Second is email notifications not working at all with gmail due to gmail settings. Sounds like this is not directly related to unRaid. Just a guess since I haven't seen that anyone has posted details of their testing to isolate the problem to only gmail. In any case, perhaps a support thread in the v6 support forum would be a good idea to resolve this.

you mean this one I stated on the 17th and promptly fell from sight?

Note this happened on the 4.7 server also, so yeah, Google did 'something'

Well, there you go. Both issues have a solution apparently. :D

Another completely uneventful update. Everything is working fine. (6.17 -> 6.18)

Thank you for all your hard work.

Of course, now that I'm becoming used to everything going so smoothly....

;)

I upgraded my ESXi UNRAID, to 6.1.8.  When I reboot, there is no network, when I login and reboot from the console, PLOP will not boot from the USB.  I ran repair the USB in windows, and boot from it again, but then there is no network.

how do I rollback to 6.1.7?

any ideas for testing the flash?
