October 5, 20241 yr With version beta 7.0, there seems to be a bug where it leaves empty parent folders. Edited October 5, 20241 yr by Naidu

December 11, 20241 yr Hi there, and thanks for the great tool you provide! I found an issue (and sorry if this has already been reported) App suggests deleting of folder : /mnt/user/appdata/windows/ which is technically NOT mapped to any current docker, however both /mnt/user/appdata/windows/storage and /mnt/user/appdata/windows/shared are both mapped to the "binhex dockurr/windows" container. Also weirdly the suggested folder has a trailing "/" when other folders suggested for deletion do not. Minor technicality...?

Also, the plugin tries to be as conservative as possible so as to avoid any inadvertent deletion of actual data (not appdata) if you've really misconfigured things. If it doesn't pick stuff up, then use Dynamix File Manager to delete the folders

I used Dynamix file manager to do my clean up.

February 25Feb 25 Bummer this is deprecated, it was really helpful for me to keep my appdata folders clean, but it's understandable that the support overhead wasn't worth the effort. Thanks for maintaining it for as long as you did!
April 1Apr 1 This plugin is showing as deprecated in the Community Apps store. The description recommends another brand new plugin in its place, linked below.https://forums.unraid.net/topic/197975-plugin-appdata-cleanup-plus/

July 7Jul 7 For anyone having issues with this plugin and/or the Plus version I have recreated Squids plugin with modernisation for Unraid 6.10.x+It’ll perform a dry run/scan on page load and only deletes what you tell it to delete.Testers other than myself would be most welcome.Thankyou!
Wednesday at 02:53 PM5 days Appdata Cleanup Plus fixes the major problems I introduced while rebuilding it.The important part: delete now works the straightforward way again. I reverted the cleanup/delete behavior back to the older proven method, so it no longer depends on the newer backend flow that was causing backend-busy/internal-server-error problems.I also cleaned up the plugin so it is much more direct:- scan for orphaned appdata- review the Ready to Clean list- select what you want- quarantine or deleteThe UI has been simplified heavily. I removed the confusing review/blocked workflow, cleaned up the dashboard, added folder sizes, improved the delete confirmation/results screens, and made Safe Mode clearer.I know the plugin was rough for a bit, and I apologize for that. The current direction is to keep it simple, predictable, and easy to understand.Main install: plugin install https://raw.githubusercontent.com/alexphillips-dev/Appdata-Cleanup-Plus/main/plugins/appdata.cleanup.plus.plg
