Easiest thing to do is go into appdats of UniFi backup to windows>nuke the docker and the appdats folder> install the docker> click restore from the auto backup folder.

With UniFi alway do a backup before updating.

Thanks for the advice I have it up and running with no issues now.

I tried to install the container but wont keep operating.

The log reports:

Port 8080 not available
2018-05-27 19:54:06,299 INFO exited: unifi (exit status 255; not expected)
2018-05-27 19:54:07,301 INFO spawned: 'unifi' with pid 89
2018-05-27 19:54:08,302 INFO success: unifi entered RUNNING state, process has stayed up for > than 1 seconds (startsecs)
2018-05-27 19:54:16,147 WARN received SIGTERM indicating exit request
2018-05-27 19:54:16,147 INFO waiting for unifi to die
2018-05-27 19:54:16,152 INFO stopped: unifi (exit status 143)

I tried altering the port from 8080 but it wont accept anything else.

Like myself I know a few of you have been looking to run a UNMS container.  I've been testing this one on unRaid for a bit.  It should be up on the CA apps search soon.

Hi,

Pardon my noobness.

I would like to upgrade my Unifi controller to a newer version.

How do I proceed to do that?

I am only using Lime-tech for about a month now.

I seem to be having an issue when I try to access it via web interface.

In the logs I see:

Port 8080 not available
2018-07-18 10:26:33,854 INFO exited: unifi (exit status 255; not expected)
2018-07-18 10:26:34,857 INFO spawned: 'unifi' with pid 3443
2018-07-18 10:26:35,859 INFO success: unifi entered RUNNING state, process has stayed up for > than 1 seconds (startsecs)

I set it to use another port other than 8080 due to a conflict with another docker

and on the web interface, I just get "Unable to connect"

Hi guys, when restarting unRAID, the Docker always resets itself to the wizard. I can import the backup but this is a lil strange.

Any idea?

Cheers

That usually means you are saving the config onto a location that isn't one of your disks. For example, if you select /mnt/cache as your config location but don't have a cache drive, it will save the config into RAM and be lost on reboot.

Ive found the same issue as xtiang7c0 where after reboot defaulted back to wizard for inital setup and after reading Zancthra post changed my app data path in the container from /mnt/cache/appdata/ over to /mnt/user/appdata/  , and also moved the unifi files from the cache.

5.9.20 Stable Candidate has been released

I backed up my Unifi Settings from my Windows Unifi Client and then closed it out.

Ran this docker and imported the settings. All of my devices say "Disconnected".

How do I go about fixing this? The setup pages seem to be filled out correctly, but it is simply not showing up as working.

Easy. Ssh into them and run set-inform command to the new ip of the controller
